itsweightincludinga5‐gallonwaterbottle.
Allow2inchesofspacebetweentheChillStationandwallsorotherappliancesforaircirculation.The
ChillStationisdesignedforinterioruse.DonotusetheChillStationinoutsidelocations.


WaterTemperatureAdjustmentScrew
Thewatertemperatureadjustmentscrewnotedaboveissetatthefactorytoprovidechilledwater.
Ifthewateristoowarmorcoldforyourpreference,youcanadjustthewatertemperature.
Useamedium‐sizedscrewdrivertoturnthescrew1/8‐turnclockwisetolowerthewatertemperature
or1/8‐turncounterclockwisetoraisethetemperature.WaitanhourwithoutusingtheChillStation
andcheckthewatertemperature.Ifneeded,continuetoadjustthewatertemperaturefollowing
thisprocedure.



TipsforTrouble‐FreeOperation
CAUTION!Syrupcanstainfloors,countertops,clothing,rugs,plastics
andothermaterials.Cleansyrupspillsimmediatelywithwarmwaterandmild
detergenttoavoidstaining.

•KeeptheChillStationFresh—Keepthesyrupcompartmentfreshbyplacingabox
ofbakingsodaintheboxholderontheinsideofthedoor.Changetheboxasrecommended
foruseinyourrefrigerator.
•GettingtheDesiredFlavor—Samplethebeverageforflavorafterinstallingasyrupcartridge.
Adjustthesyrupmixingvalveandsampleagainforflavor.Repeatthisprocessuntilthedesired
flavorisachieved.


Place a new, opened box of baking soda inside the
syrup compartment door to maintain freshness in
the syrup compartment. Replace as recommended
for use in your refrigerator.
Clean up syrup spills immediately
to minimize risk of staining.

LoadingaBottleofWater
Warning!Ifyouspillwaterintothecabinetwhileloadingabottleofwateronto
thewaterbottlereceptacle,youcouldreceiveanelectricalshockresultingininjuryor
death.Topreventreceivinganelectricalshockwhenloadingabottleofwater,movethe
twopowerswitchesonthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffpositionanddisconnectthepower
cord.Avoidspillingwaterintothecabinet.
Caution!Ifyouarereplacinganexistingwaterbottle,ensurethewaterlevel
inthewatertankislowenoughtoavoidoverflowingthetankwhenthenewbottleis
insertedinthereceptacle.

FollowthesestepstoloadabottleofwaterontheChillStation:
1. MovebothpowerswitchesonthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffposition.
2. Unplugthepowercord.
3. Wipethetopofthebottlewithaclothtoremovedustanddirt.
4. Removeanylabelsthatsealthespoutorvalveofthewaterbottle.Note—Seethewatersupplier
instructionsifneeded.
5. PlacethewaterbottleontopoftheChillStation’sbottlereceptacleandpushdownifneeded
toletthepiercingpinpenetratethebottlecap.Thebottleshouldbecenteredandrestingon
thecollarofthebottlereceptacle.
6. Wipeupanyspills.
7. Pluginthepowercord.
8. Movebothpowerswitchesontheback
oftheChillStationtotheOnposition.


UsingandStoringSyrupCartridges
Syrupcartridgesarereadytouseandincludeafood‐gradesiliconsealinthecap.Thecapisself‐sealing,
so,ifdesired,youcansafelyremoveandstoreapartially‐usedsyrupcartridgeforuseatalaterdate.
Note—Somesyrupcandripfromthesealduringremoval.Syrupcanstainfloors,countertops,clothing,
rugs,plastics,andothermaterials.Cleansyrupspillsimmediatelywithwarmwaterandmilddetergent
toavoidstaining.
Storesyrupsatroomtemperature(50to70°F).Storageattemperaturesoutsideofthisrangecan
shortentheshelflifeoralterthetasteandusabilityofthesyrup.
ABestifUsedBy(BIUB)dateisprintedoneachcartridge.
Thetypicalmixratioformostproductsis5partswaterto1partsyrup.Syrupcartridgestypicallyhold64
ouncesofsyrup.Soamixratioof5+1producesabout3gallonsoffinishedbeveragefromacartridge.

LoadingandRemovingSyrupCartridges
Caution!Whenyoupushasyrupcartridgeinplace,thebeveragecanmomentarily
spurtfromitsbeveragedispensingnozzle.Toavoidaspill,placeacupunderthedelivery
nozzletocatchanyflow.
LoadingaSyrupCartridge
FollowthesestepstoloadasyrupcartridgeintotheChillStation:
1. Removeasyrupcartridgefromitsbox.
2. Placealargecupunderthedeliverynozzle.
3. Openthecartridgecompartment.
4. Invertbottleovercartridgetray
5. Insertbottleintooneoftheholesinthetray
6. Placethesuppliedflavoridentificationstickeronthedispensingbuttonlabelpad
7. Placeacupunderthedeliverynozzle.
8. Pressthedispensingbuttonuntilyoucanseethebeverageflowfromthedispensingnozzle.
Thisflushesair,cleaningsolution,orthepreviousbeveragefromthedeliveryline.
Note—Severalouncesofclearwatermaybedispensedpriortoreceivingthefinishedbeverage.
9. Disposeofthebeveragecollectedduringflushing.




AdjustingtheTasteoftheBeverage
Afterinstallinganewsyrupcartridgeandflushingthebeveragethroughtothedispensingnozzle,adjust
thetasteofthebeveragefollowingthesesteps:
1. Samplethebeverageforflavor.
2. Iftheflavoristooweak,turnthesyrupmixingvalveslightlycounterclockwise.Iftheflavor
istoostrong,turnthesyrupmixingvalveslightlyclockwise.
3. Samplethebeverageforflavor.
4. Repeatstep2and3untilyouachievethetasteyoudesire.
5. Nofurtheradjustmentisneeded.






RemoveaSyrupCartridge
Youcanremoveasyrupcartridgebeforeitisempty,storingitforlateruse.Followthesestepsto
removeasyrupcartridgefromtheChillStation:
1. Holdreceivingtrayinplacewithonehandwhileyoupullthecartridgereleaseleverout
toraisethecartridgeupoffthetray.
2. Withoutsqueezingthecartridgetoohard,rockthecartridgegentlywhileliftingthecartridge
straightupandoutofthetray.
3. Ifthebottleisempty,pleaserecycleit.
4. Ifthebottlecontainssyrupforlateruse,storeitcap‐sideup,inacooldrylocation.







CleaningtheChillStation
Warning!IfyouspillwaterintothecabinetwhilecleaningtheChillStation,
youcouldreceiveanelectricalshockresultingininjuryordeath.Topreventreceiving
anelectricalshockduringcleaning,movethetwopowerswitchesonthebackofthe
ChillStationtotheOffpositionanddisconnectthepowercord.Avoidspillingwaterintothecabinet.
TherearethreeelementstocleaningtheChillStation:
1. Cleaningthecabinet,driptrays,andcartridgetray(cleanasrequired)
2. Cleaningthewaterdeliverysystem(cleanevery3months)
3. Cleaningthesyrupdeliverysystem(cleanevery3months)
CleaningtheCabinet,DripTrays,andCartridgeTray
Asrequired,wipethecabinet’sexteriorwithacleanclothdampenedwithwater.Removethecupdrip
traybyliftingitoutandcleaningwithwarmwaterandmildsoap.
RemovedustfromthecoilsonthebackoftheChillStationusingasoftbrushoravacuumcleaner.
Followthesestepstocleanthecartridgetrayandcartridgedriptray:
1. Removethesyrupcartridgesfromthecartridgetray.
2. Removethecartridgetraybypushingitintowardsthebackofthecompartment,
thenliftingthefrontupandout.
3. WashthecartridgetrayandO‐ringsusingwarmwaterandamildsoap.
4. Applyathinfilmoffood‐gradesanitarylubricatesuchasHaynesLubri‐FilmtotheO‐rings.
5. Useacleanragmoistenedwithwaterto
wipesyrupoutofthecartridgedriptray.
6. Reinstallthecartridgetraybyanglingthe
backedgedownandpushingrearwardas
youpushthefrontedgedownwarduntilit
snapsintoplace.
7. Reinstallthesyrupcartridgesinthe
cartridgetray.

CleaningtheWaterDeliverySystem(RecommendedEveryThreeMonths)
Waituntilthewaterbottleisemptyandthenfollowthesestepstocleanthewaterdeliverysystem:
1. Placeacontainerunderthedispensingnozzleandpressthewaterdispensingbutton
untilnomorewaterflowsfromthewatertank.
2. MovethetwopowerswitchesonthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffposition
anddisconnectthepowercord.
3. Removetheemptywaterbottlefromthechillstation.
4. Placebothhandsonthecollarofthewaterbottlereceptacle,rotateitcounterclockwise
aboutone‐halfinch,andliftthebottlereceptaclefromtheChillStation.
5. Cleanthebottlereceptaclethoroughlybyhandusingwarmwaterandmildsoap.
6. Removeanyiceringsthatmaybepresentinthewatertank.
7. Gentlyandcarefullywipethetankcomponentsandtheinsideofthetankdrywith
acleanclothorpapertowels.
8. Replacethewaterreceptacleintothewatertankandrotateclockwiseuntillocksintoplace.
9. Installawaterbottleonthewaterbottlereceptacle.
10. Pluginthepowercord.
11. MovethetwopowerswitchestotheOnposition.
CleaningtheSyrupDeliverySystem(RecommendedEveryThreeMonths)
Everythreemonths,cleanthesyrupdeliverysystembyfollowingthesesteps:
1. Removetheleft‐handcartridgefromthecartridgetrayandinstallaChillStationcleaning
cartridge(availableanywhereyoucanpurchaseChillStationsyrupcartridges).
2. Placeacontainerunderthedispensingnozzlestocatchthecleaningsolution.
3. Presstheleft‐handbeveragedispensingbuttonuntil8ouncesoffluidisdispensed.
4. Removethecleaningcartridgeandstoreitcapsideupinacooldrylocation.
5. Continuetopressthedispensingbuttonfor10moresecondstofullyflushthelines.
6. Reinstallthesyrupcartridge.
7. Presstheleft‐handbeveragedispensingbuttonuntilthebeveragebeginstoflowfrom
thedispensingnozzle.
8. Continuetopressthedispensingbuttonfor10moresecondstofullyflushthelines
ofthecleaningsolution.
9. Repeatsteps1though8fortheright‐handsyrupdeliverysystem.
10. Storethecleaningcartridgecapsideupinacooldrylocation.



SanitizingtheWaterDeliverSystem
Periodically,dependingonusageandwaterquality,youshouldsanitizethewaterdeliverysystem
byfollowingthestepsbelow.
SanitizingtheWaterTank
1. MovethetwopowerswitchesonthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffpositionanddisconnect
thepowercord.
2. RemovethewaterbottlefromtheChillStation.
3. Placebothhandsonthecollarofthewaterbottlereceptacle,rotateitcounterclock‐wiseabout
one‐halfinch,andliftthebottlereceptaclefromtheChillStation.
4. Cleanthebottlereceptaclethoroughlybyhandusingwarmwaterandmildsoap.
5. Pluginthepowercordandmovethepumppowerswitch(red)onthebackoftheChillStation
totheOnposition.
6. Placeacontainerunderthebeveragedispensingnozzleandpressthewaterdispensingbutton
untilthewatertankishalfempty.
7. Movethepumppowerswitch(red)onthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffpositionand
disconnectthepowercord.
8. Mix½teaspoonofunscentedhouseholdbleachwith2quartsofwarmwater.[Usewarmwater
tomelticeringsinthewatertank.]
9. Pourthesanitizingsolutionintothewatertanksothatthelevelinthetankisatthetop
ofthestainlesssteelpartofthetank.
10. Allowthesolutiontositfor15to20minutesorlongertomelttheiceringsandsanitize
thetank.
11. Pluginthepowercordandmovethepumppowerswitch(red)onthebackoftheChillStation
totheOnposition.
12. Placeacontainerunderthedispensingnozzleandpressthewaterdispensingbuttonuntil
thetankiscompletelyempty.
13. Movethepumppowerswitch(red)onthebackoftheChillStationtotheOffposition
anddisconnectthepowercord.
14. Wipetheinsideofthewatertankdrywithacleanclothorpapertowels.
