The roll-up piano may be powered by 4 x AAA cells (not supplied)
or by USB using the included DC lead. Insert the 4 x AAA cells into
the battery compartment on the underside of the control panel. If
USB power is to be used, connect the included DC lead to the DC
power input (11) and the other end to a 5V USB power adaptor.
Switch on the roll-up piano by rolling the edge-wheel volume
control (9) to the required volume. The power LED (2) will light
when the piano is powered up. At minimum volume there is a click
which switches the power off.
To check the output and listen to the sounds of the roll-up piano,
there are 6 built-in demo songs. Press the DEMO button (1) to
hear a demo song and press again to stop. Press DEMO again to
hear the next demo song and press again to stop. This process will
cycle through the 6 demo songs.
Pressing the E/Sustain button (3) adds either an Echo effect (re-
triggering the keys when held down) or Sustain effect (lingering
note after the key is released). Press the E/Sustain button
repeatedly to cycle through Echo, Sustain and unaffected modes.
To change the tone (sound type) produced by the piano, press the
TONE button (4) to cycle through the 8 different sounds.
