plugsinthe
sides
ofthecylinderblockandopenthe
drain
cockinthelowerradiatortank.

system

waterandprotect
againstcorrosionbyadding

degree
thermostats.
With
thisthermostat,
only
permanenttype anti-freezeshouldbeused.Ifan
alcohol-type
anti-freezeisused,a 160
degree
thermo-
statshouldbeinstalled.
CAUTION:
The180
degree
thermostat
must
be
used
on
cars
equipped
with
air
conditioning.
All
cars
equipped
with
air
conditioning
shouldhave
the
cooling
systemprotected
with
permanenttype
anti-freezetoa temperatureof
—15°F.
toprevent
freezing
inthe
heater
core.
In
thewinter,the
cooling
systemofall
cars
equipped
with
air
conditioning,
shouldhave
suffi-
cient
anti-freezetoprovideprotectiontothelowest
anticipated
temperaturerange.
