Thank you for choosing Cisco Business Edition 4000 (BE4000). Use this guide to
install and activate the product.

Your BE4000 package must include the following items. If any item is missing or
appears to be damaged, contact your supplier immediately.

Before You Begin
You must have the following ready before installation:
110/220 VAC power feed
Ethernet network ports configured for the product
(Optional) Smart phone or tablet with a QR Code scanner application
Space and fastenings for installing in a standard 19-inch rack, if preferred
Provisioned SIP, ISDN, or Analog Telephony services

and standard practices for installing communications equipment.

Install the BE4000
Step 1. Unpack the BE4000 and locate the QR code (17) on the underside of the
product.
Step 2. Use a QR scanner application to scan the QR code and launch the
BE4000 portal. If you don’t have a QR scanner, browse to the BE4000
portal - https://be4000.cisco.com/deploy.
Step 3. Enter the serial number (16) if prompted, and select your customer-site
configuration.
Step 4. Connect the BE4000 to the network services as described in the portal.
Step 5. We recommend that you install the BE4000 in a 19-inch rack. You can
also wall mount or place the BE4000 on any secure flat surface, if
preferred.
Step 6. If you are installing in a rack, use the illustration (14) inside the front cover
as a guide to attach the mounting brackets with the screws provided. Use
suitable fastenings to secure the product in place.
Step 7. Connect the power supply to the BE4000 (7) and the mains supply, then
switch on (6). You can track the progress of your BE4000 activation in the
portal.

Installation du BE4000
Étape 1. Déballez le BE4000 et localisez le code QR (17) sur la face inférieure du
produit.
Étape 2. Utilisez une application de scanner QR pour scanner le code QR et lancer
le site d'activation du produit. Si vous ne disposez pas d'un scanner QR,
rendez-vous sur https://be4000.cisco.com/deploy .
Étape 3. Connectez-vous au portail BE4000. Entrez le numéro de série (16) si vous
y êtes invité et sélectionnez la configuration souhaitée pour le site du
client.
Étape 4. Connectez le BE4000 aux services réseau comme décrit dans le portail.
Étape 5. Cisco recommande d'installer le BE4000 dans un rack standard de 19
pouces. Vous pouvez également accrocher le BE4000 à un mur, ou le
placer sur n'importe quelle surface plane et sécurisée, si vous le
souhaitez.
Étape 6. Si vous installez le produit dans un rack, utilisez l'illustration (14) de la
couverture comme guide pour fixer les supports de montage avec les vis
fournies. Utilisez des fixations appropriées pour le fixer solidement le
produit dans le rack.
Étape 7. Branchez l 'alimentation au BE4000 (7) et au secteur, puis mettez-le en
marche (6). Vous pouvez suivre la progression de l'activation de votre
BE4000 sur le portail.
