SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before
attempting to assemble, operate or install the product. If you
have any questions regarding the product please call customer
service at 1-800-854-2315, 8 a.m. - 4 P.M., PST, Monday-
Friday.
1. THE CAB IS NOT A PROTECTIVE DEVICE.
The cab will NOT protect against noise, engine exhaust,
chemicals, collision, roll-over or other accidents.
2. Follow all your snow thrower manufacturer’s
recommended safety instructions.
3. Operating a snow thrower with this cab will restrict
your field of vision. Watch carefully for people, children,
obstructions or obstacles.
4. The cab adds height to your snow thrower.
Remember the height of your cab. Watch carefully for tree
limbs or other items overhead that you could previously go
under without a cab.
5. Before use be sure that all bolts are tight. If one or more
bolts comes loose failure of cab parts may occur.
PRACTICE SAFE MAINTENANCE
• Onlyqualified,trainedadultsshouldservicethismachine.
• Understandserviceprocedurebeforedoingwork.
Keep area clean and dry.
• Donotoperatetheengineinaconfinedspacewhere
dangerous carbon monoxide fumes can collect.
• Neverlubricate,serviceoradjustthemachineorattachment
while it is moving. Keep safety devices in place and in
working condition. Keep hardware tight.
• Keephands,feet,clothing,jewelry,andlonghairawayfrom
any moving parts, to prevent them from getting caught.
• Disconnectbatteryorremovesparkplugwire(forgasoline
engines) before making any repairs.
• Keepallpartsingoodconditionandproperlyinstalled.
Fix damage immediately. Replace worn or broken parts.
Replace all worn or damaged safety and instruction decals.
• Checkallhardwareatfrequentintervalstobesurethe
equipmentisinsafeworkingcondition.
• Donotmodifymachineorsafetydevices.
Unauthorized modifications to the machine or attachment
may impair its function and safety.
WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING
• Alwaysweareyeprotectionwhenoperatingthemachine.
• Wearclosefittingclothingandsafetyequipmentappropriate
forthejob.
• Alwayswearsubstantialfootwearandlongtrousers.

OOPTIONAL MOUNTING METHOD
Top U-bolt [O] may need to be on
top of handlebar crossbar, if the
mounting bar needs clearance for
your snow thrower controls.

ATTACH MOUNTING SYSTEM TO SNOW THROWER
INSTALL THE MOUNTING POST CLAMPS (FIG. 1)
1. Insert two U-bolts [O] around the snow thrower frame and through
the mounting post clamp spacer [N] and the mounting post
clamp [M] as shown. (Fig. 1)
Note: Exact positioning may vary depending on manufacture.
2. Install two Nylock nuts [P] to each U-bolt [O]. Snug but do not fully
tighten.LeaveNylocknuts[P]looseforfinaladjustmentsofthemounting
posts. (Figs. 1 and 1a)
Note: In some instances, it may be necessary to mount the top
U-bolts [O] above the handlebar crossbar support. (Fig. 1a)
This will help the assembled cab sit higher for added clearance.
3. Repeat on other side.
INSTALL THE LOWER MOUNTING POSTS (FIG. 2)
4. Insert lower mounting posts [L] into mounting post
clamps [M] as shown. Snug but do not fully tighten.
Leave the nuts loose, but do not remove, for final
adjustmentsofthemountingposts.(Fig.2)
5. Repeat on other side.
CAUTION: Position of the clamps may vary
depending on snow thrower manufacturer.
CAUTION: Make sure no cables or wires
are trapped or pinched.
WARNING: Make sure nothing interferes with the
safe operation of your snow thrower.

side mounting bars
[B1 and B2] prior to
assembly.

ASSEMBLE THE FRONT AND BACK HOOP POLES (FIG. 4)
11. Insert the front top poles [E] into the front bottom poles [D].
Install each assembled front pole into the vertical tube on the
top of each side of the mounting bars [B1 and B2].
12. Insert the back hoop side poles [F] first into each side
mounting bar [C]. Insert another pair of back hoop side poles
[F] into the tops of the ones installed on the side mounting
bars [C].
13. Insert the back hoop corner poles [G] into the tops of the
installed sections of back hoop side poles [F]. Finish by
inserting the back hoop top pole [H] into both back hoop
corner poles [G]. You may find it helpful to twist the pole
when inserting it into a plastic sleeve.
Note: It may help to place the parts flat
on the ground for easier assembly.
Note: The back hoop side and corner
poles each have clear plastic sleeves on
one end. The frame hoop top pole DOES
NOT have clear plastic sleeves.
Note: Assemble frame on a clean flat surface
next to your snow thrower for easy mounting.
ASSEMBLE THE BASE OF THE FRAME (FIG. 3)
6. Slide each side mounting bar [B1 and B2]
through an upper mounting post [K].
(Fig. 3a)
7. Snug (do not fully tighten) bolts on upper
mounting posts [K], so that they can be
adjustedwheninstallingframeonlower
mounting posts [L].
8. Connect the center mounting bar [A] to both
side mounting bars [B1 and B2] by engaging
the spring loaded pins.
9. Insert the mounting bar ends [C] into the side
mounting bars [B1 and B2] by engaging the
spring load pins.
10. Repeat on other side.

INSTALL THE FRONT HOOP POLES (FIG. 5)
14. Insert the front hoop side poles [I] first into each front top
poles [E] on the frame. Insert another pair of front hoop
side poles [I] into the one installed on the front poles.
Finish by carefully inserting the front hoop top pole [J]
into both the top most front hoop side poles [I], forming a
curve.Thecurvedpoleswillbestandingquitehighupin
the air. This is normal. (Fig. 5)
Note: The front hoop side poles [I] each have
a clear plastic sleeve on one end. The front
hoop top pole [J] DOES NOT have a sleeve
on either end. During assembly, make sure
the poles end with the clear plastic sleeves
face up.
WARNING: Use care when assembling
the front hoop side and top poles. Poles under
tension can slip out of the sleeves causing
serious injury.

INSTALL THE CAB FABRIC SHELL TO THE ASSEMBLED
FRAME (FIG. 6)
15. Unfold the cab fabric shell [Q] and find the pocket sewn into
the top rear part of the cab fabric shell [Q] roof.
16. Carefully insert the top curved section of the assembled front
hoop poles into the pocket on the cab fabric shell [Q] roof.
17. Bend the fiberglass front hoop poles down toward the back
so that the front hoop poles and roof of the cab fabric shell
[Q] rest on top of the back hoop poles. (Fig. 6)
18. Unfold the rest of the cab fabric shell [Q] and drape over
the assembled frame. (Fig. 6)

SECURE CAB FABRIC SHELL TO FRAME (FIGS. 7-8)
19. Find all rip-and-grip tabs on the inside of the cab fabric shell
[Q] and secure the cab fabric shell [Q] to the frame. (Fig. 7)
20. Find the large elastic strap sewn into the bottom rear corner
of the cab fabric shell [Q]. Gently pull the roof down (Fig.
5) and pull the elastic strap down and over the end of both
mounting bar ends [C]. (Fig. 8)
Note: If it is very difficult to secure straps over the
mounting bar ends, make sure that all rip-and-grip tabs
are loose and that the shell is fitted correctly.

Note: The lower front panel
features one double zipper
that allows convenient
pass-through of cables or
linkages if necessary.

Note: It may be necessary to
loosen knobs on lower mounting
posts [K] in order to slide upper
mounting posts [J] into position.
Be sure to tighten both knobs
after positioning.
Loosen nuts to change angle of
mounting bar.
Adjust for best visibility, weather
protection and headroom.

INSTALL ASSEMBLED CAB ON SNOW THROWER
INSTALL THE UPPER MOUNTING POSTS ON LOWER MOUNTING POSTS (FIG . 9)
21. From inside the cab, grab each side of the frame from side mounting posts [B1 and B2] and lift cab onto lower mounting posts [L]
(already installed on snow thrower) making sure that upper mounting posts [K] and lower mounting posts [L] are aligned (Fig. 9). If
uppermountingposts[K]andlowermountingposts[L]arenotaligned,makenecessaryadjustments.
22. Tighten knobs on both lower mounting posts [L] until cab is securely mounted. (Fig. 9 Inset)
23. Fully tighten the nylock nuts [P] onto the U-bolts [O].

FINE TUNE THE PLACEMENT OF THE CAB ON SNOW THROWER
AND SECURE
24.Adjustthecabsoitiscenteredoverthecontrols
and the angle of the mounting bar ends are parallel
to the ground by loosening the upper mounting post
adjustmentnutand/orthesetscrewandreadjusting.
(Fig. 10) Fully tighten all nuts and screws when complete.
CAUTION: No part of the fabric
cab skin should touch the engine
or exhaust system of your snow
thrower.
