The Clear2O®Gravity Water Filtration Pitcher (GRP200 - filters 60 gallons) is designed with
our TRUEFilter™ pleated Cat-Ion filter as opposed to the many of the current pitchers in the
market that use granular carbon as their filter source. Our Less-Than-One Micron filter
media technology has a superior multi-layer design that requires travel through approximate-
ly 400 pores to filter the water. The Gravity technology is designed to filter contaminants &
particulates to a less than a one micron microscopic level. Additionally, our filter has a
positive charge which attracts and captures contaminants in solution, preventing them from
passing through the filter.

Water Filter Indicator
Your unit has a Intelligent Water Filter Indicator built into the filter cover that automatically
activates the flow meter indicator and measures the amount of water per fill. This makes
it easy to know exactly when to replace the filter.
1. Once a new filter is installed, the indicator will reset to green for
50 gallons of water consumption.
2. Then it changes to yellow for 10 more gallons of water.
3. Once indicator changes to red, it’s time to replace the filter.
IMPORTANT: If you experience a reduction in the flow rate of the water, you may need to
change your replacement filter more frequently. This condition is typically caused by poor
municipal water conditions, especially if it contains a high amount of silt, sediment, or
minerals and is not a defect in the filter itself.
3. Discard the first 3 pitchers of filtered water to
flush the pitcher, use this water for plants. It is
normal for carbon dust to appear in your first
fillings. This flushing procedure must be
repeated every time a new replacement filter
is installed.
4. Fill the pitcher with cold tap water through the
pour through lid. Do not over fill.
5. Allow water to filter completely before pouring
or refilling reservoir.
6. Close pour through lid when the reservoir
is full.
7. It is important to ensure the pitcher’s pour
through lid is closed securely to ensure the
filter indicator measures the water filling
accurately. The true filter indicator measures
the amount of water you use, resulting in a
better value for your money.
8. Store pitcher with filtered water in refrigerator
for use. If water is to be stored outside of
refrigerator, it is recommended to store out of
direct sunlight and to change water daily.

5
TIP: Periodically hand-wash your pitcher, lid, and reservoir. For best results cleaning
Gravity™ Water Filtration Pitcher lid, dilute a teaspoon of vinegar in a cup of water.
Soak a soft sponge in vinegar solution and wipe clean. Do Not Wash in Dishwasher.

Removing & Replacing Filter

Trouble Shooting / FAQS
Water bypasses filter.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE / SOLUTION
Remove and re-insert filter
Filter indicator does not change color.
Filter has slowed down.
• Lid is not securely closed to trigger filter
indicator. Close lid securely each filling.
• 60 gallon limit has not been reached.
• Filter is not seated properly.
• Remove and re-insert filter correctly.
If a filter slows prematurely, it is most
likely due to clogging by cloudiness, silt,
or sediment in the water which can
prematurely clog a filter. All water is
different and we have no way of knowing
the specific properties in everyone’s
water, but if the filter becomes clogged
it is still doing its job of protecting your
water from contaminants.
We recommend changing the filter.
There is an odor in my water pitcher. If a water filled water pitcher is left at
room temperature it can become a
breeding ground for microorganisms.
While not all waterborne microorganisms
pose a health risk, we recommend that
all filtered water is stored in the
refrigerator. If you prefer room
temperature water, we recommend that
the water is changed daily and stored in
a cool place, out of direct sunlight.
