Welcome
Thank you for purchasing this Clint H2 digital radio adaptor. This product is designed specifically to add digital
recepon capacity to your exisng HiFi or home selecainment system. The H2 offers the capability of tuning
internet radio and new DAB+ radio channels as well as playing media streams and files on local computer networks.
These are funcons that are rarely found on current models of HiFi and Home Theatre tuners.
The H2 opens a world of possibilies for digital music selecainment. It gives the ability to receive digital radio
streams on the internet from all parts of the world. At least 20,000 staons and pod casts are freely available.
So whether you are in Alaska and want to listen to Brazilian radio or in Ireland and want to listen to music from
the Caribbean, anything is possible. Staons are classified by locaon and genre, so you can find programs that
suit any taste, 24 hours per day, everyday.

TheremightbesomeconfusionwithregardstothedifferencebetweentheInternetradioportalandtheactual
internetradiostations.
InternetRadioPortalTheportalisthecontentaggregatorwhichmaintainslinkstoalltheavailable
internetradiostations.Itcanbeconsideredtobean‘addressbook’,listingthe
addressofalltheinternetradiostationsandregularlyupdatedwithnewones.
Whenausernavigatesthroughtheradiomenus,thelistofstationsisreturned
bythePortal.Theportalusedis:

OnceauserhasselectedastationthroughthePortal,theradiothenconnects

thewirelessaccesspoint.

The Wi-Fi radio features three types of menu. These are:

Thisisthetoplevelmenuwhichallowsuserstoenterthedifferentmodes,setuptheradio,andview
informationabouttheradio(forexamplesoftwareversion,productID).
zTheInternetRadioStationListmenu
Thisisthemenuthatallowsuserstoaccessthedifferentinternetradioservices.Thismenucomes
directfromtheInternetRadioportal.
zTheModemenusforthevariousmodes
Themodemenusarecalledsobecausetheyshowthefunctionsavailablewithinthecontextofeach
ofthemodes.PressingtheMENUbuttonanytimewilltakeyoutothemodemenuoftherelevantmode
theradioiscurrentlyin.Eachcontextmenuprovidesanentrycalledmainmenuwhichtakesyouback
totheMAINmenu.
TonavigatetothedifferentmenusyoumustusetheARROWbuttonsontheremotecontrol.Usearrow

InorderforH2toplaymusicfilesfromacomputer,thecomputermustbesetuptoshare
filesormedia.
UPnPmediasharingallowsdeviceslikeH2toplaymusicfromasharedmedialibrary,
navigatingthroughtagmenussuchasArtist,AlbumorGenre.Ifyouarerunningasuitableserver
systemsuchasaPCwithWindowsMediaPlayer10orlater(WMP),andyourmusiclibraryis
well‐tagged,thenitisrecommendedtousemediasharing.OnlytheUPnPserverneedstobeset
up.

Toselectapreset,pressPresetbriefly,thenselectoneofthelistedpresetstations.
Whenapresetstationisplaying,itshowsPn(P1,P2etc)inthebottomofthescreen.
