There are no buons on the unit itself. Everything is controlled from the included
remote control.
On the H4 the following I/O connectors are available: (1.Line-Out, RCA Type)
(2. DC-input, for power).Furthermore, you will find a telescopic antenna for
radio signal recepon.(Please adjust antenna for best and opmal recepon)

Press to enter the Main Menu of H4.
Press to turn down the volume level.
Press to Mute the sound.
Press to turn up the volume level.
Press one or several mes for seng the me for
automac shut down of Clint H4.
Enable or Disable the Alarm funcon.
Press to modify the brightness of the LCD display.
Switch between DAB or FM mode.
Press to confirm your choice.

9 DAB/DAB+ Radio Mode.

Choose DAB radio mode if you want to listen to DAB/DAB+ Radio staons from your
area.
Switch to DAB mode by pressing Mode buon and choose DAB.
Noce to place H4 in an area with good signal recepon and adjust the telescopic
antenna for opmal recepon.
9.1 Search for available DAB staons.
Clint H4 will automacally start staon search when it is brand new or aer a
Factory Reset.
When search is finished then H4 will automacally show a list of the staons found.
Use arrow buons and enter buon to choose a staon.
If you later want to do a new staon search then you can enter the Menu and choose
SCAN -> ENTER.
Noce that any exisng staon list will be overwrien when doing a new staon
search.
9.2 How to choose a DAB staon
Aer staon search, when staon are stored in memory, you browse and choose a
staon by doing the following. Use or to browse the staon memory.
Pick your preferred staon by pressing the OK buon. Available informaon about
the staon being played, will now be shown in the LCD display.

9.3 Save a staon in Favorite list (Presets)
Clint H4 can save up to 20 staons in a favorite list (Presets). If you want to save the
staon currently being played then Press the buon for 2 seconds.
Then choose the preferred posion by using the buon and Press OK.
9.4 Choose a staon from Favorite list (From Presets)
If you want to play a staon from the favorite list, then use the number buons
directly (0-9), or press the buon once for browsing the favorite list.
9.5 Manual Tuning
You can manually Search (Tune) for available staons. Press the Menu buon and
choose Manual Scan.Then you can manually choose a frequency (channel) that you
want to Scan, by using the buons. Then H4 will Scan (Search) the given
frequency only.
9.6 DAB Display Informaon
When listening to a DAB staon the LCD display will show mixed informaon,
depending on available content from the actual Radio broadcaster. Clint H4 can
also show possible available slideshow pictures depending on the actual informaon
being broadcasted. Noce: Not all countries/broadcasters transmit this kind of
informaon.
9.7 Dynamic Range Control (DRC)
If you listen to radio in a noisy environment, it can be an advantage to adjust these
sengs.By doing so you can raise low sound levels and lower the high sound levels.
3 opons available:
DRC Off = No change (default seng)
DRC low = Medium seng
DRC high = Highest seng
9.8 Staon order
Radio staons on the list can be sorted aer Alphanumeric, Ensemble, Valid.
Press Menu buon and find Staon Order by using buons. Press OK to
confirm.Then change this seng to what you prefer.

10 FM Radio Mode
Press Mode buon on remote control and choose FM.
The LCD display will also show available RDS informaon.
10.1 Find an FM staon (Search, Scan)
When FM is chosen for the first me, it will begin on the lowest FM frequency in
the FM band.
Press long me on buons to begin searching (Scan) for a FM staon.
Clint H4 will search aer available staons and automacally stop when it finds a
staon.
Short pressing buons and H4 will fine tune in steps of 0.05MHz.
If you want to search, and store staons in memory automacally, then start staon
search from the Menu by choosing Scan and press OK. Now the first 20 staons
found will be stored in Memory.
Noce that by doing so, all exisng FM staons in memory will be deleted (overwrien).
10.2 Store (save) a staon (Presets)
Clint H4 can store up to 20 staons (Favorite staons) in a favorite list (Presets).
If you want to store the staon currently being played, then press and hold
buon for 2 seconds.
Then choose a posion by using buons and press OK.

10.3 Choose a staon (from Presets)
10.4 FM Display Informaon
Press on the number buons 0-9 to directly choose a staon from the Favorite list.
Alternavely, press once on buon to show the Favorite list. Navigate and
choose your preferred staon.
When you listen to a FM staon the LCD display will show available informaon
about the staon and the content being broadcasted (depending on what’s actually
being broadcasted from the staon provider)Informaon can be:
Program Type (PTY) – Rock, Pop, Talk, News etc.
Staon Name or frequency – such as BBC Radio 5 or 93.3MHz
Audio mode – Mono or Stereo
Time and Date – which is transmied by the staon broadcaster.
10.5 FM Audio sengs
Clint H4 will automacally playback the Stereo or Mono signal depending on the
staon being played.You can also force H4 into playing either Mono or Stereo (if
available) by changing this seng.

11. System Sengs
To change the system sengs of H4 press the Menu buon, choose System Sengs
and press OK.In System Sengs, you can choose Equalizer, Backlight, Time/Date,
Alarm, Sleep, Factory reset, Info and Language.
Change between the different equalizer modes depending on the music you mostly
listen to:Normal, Classic, Pop, Jazz or Rock
Default seng is Normal.
11.1 Equalizer
11.2 Backlight
Here you can choose your preferred backlight brightness. You can also setup a
meout period for how long you want to keep the LCD display in the high brightness
state (for standby mode or when H4 is not being operated).
Brightness level can be set to either HIGH, MEDIUM or LOW. This can also be
adjusted directly from the remote control, by using the light buon.
Timeout period can be set to 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 or 180 seconds.
11.3 Time and Date sengs
Setup Time and Date. Press buon to choose and press on
adjust the values. Press OK buon to confirm your changes.
Setup Time format. Choose between 12H or 24H me format. 24H seng is default.
Press OK buon to confirm your change.
Setup Auto Update. Time and Date can be updated automacally. You can choose
between update from DAB or update from FM or no update. Press OK buon to
confirm your choice.

11.4 Alarm
Clint H4 can be setup for two different Alarms. Alarm 1 and Alarm 2.
Choose either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 and press the OK buon. Now you use buons
and choose to modify Alarm-Mode, Alarm-Time, Alarm-Sound and Alarm Volume.
Use buons to navigate and use buons to change the value.

When an Alarm is enabled you will see a Clock icon at the top of the LCD display
together with the Alarm Time.
When an Alarm is acvated, then the Alarm sound can be muted (Snooze) by
pressing a random buon on the remote control. Aer 5 mins the Alarm will start again.
Press the Power buon on the remote control to completely stop/deacvate the alarm.
Alarm sengs can also be chosen directly from the remote control by pressing the
Alarm buon (watch icon).
11.5 Sleep
Sleep seng will automacally shut down H4 aer the set me has been reached.
You can choose among 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120 minutes.
When this feature is acvated you will noce a bed icon on the LCD display. H4 will
enter standby mode once the chosen meout period occurs.
Sleep seng can also be chosen directly from the remote control by pressing on
the buon.
H4 can be reset to it’s factory sengs by choosing this Menu item.
Noce that all sengs will be deleted and restored to defaults.

Choose which language you want to see on the LCD Display (OSD language / Menu
