Safe travelling with your Cocosie
car seat
Attaching the car seat
Your stroller also comes with a car seat,
safe to use in the car, as well as a part of
your stroller. You can easily attach the
car seat onto the stroller, by using the
appropriate adapters that come with it.
Attach the adapters on both sides (left
and right) of the chassis, by clicking it in.
Make sure that the buttons
on the adapters are facing outwards
while doing this. Your car seat is now
ready to be used as a part of your stroller. Attach it, onto the
adapters on the chassis, in the same way that you would do this
with the basket and seat.
Adjusting the position
You can easily adjust the position of the car
seat to your preferences afterwards: facing
you, or the other way around. Just press
the buttons on the sides of the adapters to
detach it from the stroller chassis.
Adjusting the handle
The handle on the car seat allows you to
safely carry your baby from your car to the stroller, without hav-
ing to add another item to your stroller-collec-
tion. You can easily adjust the position of the
handle, by pressing the red buttons on both
sides of the car seat at the same time. Push the
handle back simultaneously, while pressing the
buttons.
10

Detaching the car seat
Press the buttons on both sides of the adapters to detach it from
the chassis.
To remove the adapters from your car
seat, press the red buttons above the
adapters, underneath the fabric of the
car seat. Pull the adapters one at a time
while pressing the red button.
Whenever your car seat needs to be
cleaned, unbutton the sun canopy from
the seat, on the left, on the right and
in the middle. You can also remove the
rest of the fabric when it’s necessary.
Make sure that you regularly clean all fabric items with a mild
detergent.
The placement in your car
To ensure the safety of your baby during
traveling, make sure to always place the
seat in the opposite direction of traf c.
The best place for the car seat depends
on who you’re travelling with. If it’s just
you and the baby, it’s best to put the
seat in the passenger seat next to you in
the front of the car. This allows you to always keep an eye on your
baby. Make sure to deactivate the frontal airbag when doing so.
When you have another grown-up passenger with you, it’s best to
place the car seat in the back of the car, next to your passenger,
so that he or she can watch the baby while travelling.
11

Securing the seat belts
Always push the handle of the car seat
back completely until it clicks, and
secure the seat belt correctly. You
can nd instructions on the car seat,
showing you how to wrap the seatbelt
around the right way. Put the seat in
the approved position in your car and
wrap the belt around as shown in the
instructions. Pay extra attention to the
back of the seat: attach the seat belt
onto the provided hook at the back of
the seat for additional stability. Buckle
the seat belt correctly, and test if the
car seat is secure and stable.
No matter if your destination is 5
minutes or 5 hours away: always use
the provided safety belts for your baby.
Pull the two belts at the top of the seat
on the shoulders of your baby, and put
the fabric at the bottom of the seat
between the legs of your child. Now you
should be able to bring the top and the
bottom parts together.
Turn the two pins into one, by placing
the left pin beneath the right one,
and clicking it in. Insert the pins into
the buckle until you hear a clear click.
Have you arrived at your destination?
Unbuckle the seat belt by pressing the
red button, and pulling out the pins at
the same time.

Maintentance for your stroller
A Cocosie stroller has many moving parts to ensure a comfortable and
exible use. Overtime, it’s possible that the surfaces of these parts
become dry or slightly stiff. It’s therefore advised to clean your stroller
regularly and use a suitable spray or lubricant, to ensure a longer service
life. Fold your Cocosie stroller correctly and set aside in a secure place
when not using it.
Changes in your environment and certain weather conditions can impact
the state of your Cocosie stroller. A sandy subsurface, or wet and snowy
weather can have damaging effects over time, and increase the chance
of corrosion of certain parts. When using the stroller in these conditions,
make sure to clean your stroller with a suitable cleanser afterwards, and
treat it with a lubricant. This way you’ll extend the overall lifecycle of
your stroller.
When using the stroller, all moving parts are in a locked state and secured
rmly. In this state, your Cocosie stroller can easily carry up to 15kg of
weight. In a closed and folded state, however, the locking mechanism
is automatically lifted. Therefore, you can not use the stroller in this
position. You should avoid any kind of pressure on the frame to prevent
deformation and other damage.
You can not use the frame to hang your bags or other items, since it
increases the risk of tilting over, deformation of the frame, and other
types of damage. Use the extra shopping basket at the bottom of the
stroller chassis to ensure safety at all times.
All fabric of your Cocosie stroller is treated with a waterproof product.
To prolong the waterproof effect, and extend the overall lifecycle of your
stroller, follow these directions with care:
• Avoid folding the fabric.
• Do not use strong thermal drying.
• Use a mild detergent when cleaning.
13

14
• Make sure that your stroller is installed correctly before you start using it.
• Ensure that all handles are locked properly before using your stroller.
• Do not fold your stroller incorrectly or use any incorrect parts.
• Always stay present when carrying a baby or child in your stroller.

• Always set the brake in place to prevent the stroller from moving when you’re not
walking.
• Keep children at a safe distance when adjusting the stroller or any accessories.
• Only change the angle of the seat or basket when it’s completely empty.
• Do not use the seat for newborn babies below the age of 6 months.
• Always use the seat belts correctly and and tighten them appropriately to protect
your child.
• When using the carrying basket for newborn babies, always use it in a completely at
angle.
• To expand the lifetime of your stroller, never overload the basket, seat or shopping
bag.
• The carrying basket can not carry weight over 15kg. When used in a at angle, it can
only hold up to 9kg.
• The seat can not carry weight over 15kg.
• The shopping bag at the bottom of the stroller chassis can not carry weight over 3kg.
