Safety
Mandatory instructions
• Do not use thehigh pressure washer before reading theentire
instruction manual.
• Never point thewater jet towards yourself or any other
person. There is risk that thespray can penetrate theskin.
• Thewall socket that thehigh pressure washer is connected
to must have been installed by acompetent electrician in
accordance with IEC 60364-1 standards.
• Thehigh pressure washer should be connected to themains
via anRCD (tripping at max 30 mA within amax timeframe
of 30 ms).
• Warning: Use only detergent designed for high pressure
washers. Other detergents and chemicals can damage
thewasher or result in personal injury.
• Never use thehigh pressure washer if there are bystanders
in thevicinity, unless they are wearing protective clothing and
safety glasses.
• High pressure washers can be dangerous if used in animproper
way. Never point thewater jet at people, animals, thehigh
pressure washer itself or any other electrical equipment.
• Always pull theplug out of thewall socket before servicing and
adjusting themachine.
• Thehigh pressure washer may not be used by minors or
persons without theprerequisite knowledge of themachine.
• Use only original parts for repairs and for your own safety.
• Warning: High pressure hoses, adaptors and accessories are
important safety features. Use only accessories or exchangeable
parts which are recommended by themanufacturer.
• Never use thewasher if themains lead or any other important
component is damaged: Safety features, high-pressure hose,
lance, pistol grip, etc.

• Any extension lead that is used must be equipped with
awaterproof plug and socket designed for outdoor use.
• Warning: Use of incorrect extension leads can be dangerous.
• Be very attentive to minimise therisk of accidents if thehigh
pressure washer is to be used around children.
• Learn how thehigh pressure washer works so that you can
quickly stop and depressurize it.
• Be alert, think about your actions.
• Never use thehigh pressure washer if you are tired or under
theinfluence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
• Keep thework area free of bystanders and pets.
• Do not overreach or stand on unsteady surfaces. Always adopt
abalanced stance with both feet planted firmly on theground.
• Follow all instructions for service and maintenance as described in
theinstruction manual.
• Always use protective clothing and safety goggles or avisor.
Stones and other small objects can be thrown up by thehigh-
pressure jet. Use hearing protection.
• Warning: Thehigh pressure washer should not be connected
to sources of potable water or similar. If you are forced to use
apotable water source, theequipped non-return valve and
hose must meet IEC 61770 standards.
• Theproduct must not be used by persons (including children)
with any form of reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity,
lack of experience and knowledge under theprovision that
they are supervised or that sufficient instruction has been
provided to them by aperson willing to take responsibility for
their safety.
• Children should be kept under close supervision. Thehigh
pressure washer is not atoy.

• Damaged mains leads and switches should always be
replaced by aqualified tradesman in order to avoid therisk of
damage or possible injury.
• Water that has passed through thenon-return valve should
not be used as asource of potable water.
Specic safety instructions
Keep this instruction manual, so that it is ready for use and can
used when loaning out themachine.
• Always make sure that thehigh pressure washer is turned off
and cannot be started accidentally.
• Thehigh pressure washer should never be rebuilt or modified
in any way. Parts not approved by themanufacturer should
never be used.
• Only use hoses and connections that are recommended by
themanufacturer.
• Thehigh pressure washer should never be carried by themains
lead or its pressure hose. Never place your hand on alive
power switch while moving thehigh pressure washer.
• Unplug thehigh pressure washer when it is not in use, out
of sight or when moving it. Unplug thehigh pressure washer
when inspecting, cleaning or changing accessories, or when
any used extension leads or similar are damaged. Unplug
thehigh pressure washer should it begin to excessively vibrate.
• Never try to repair thehigh pressure washer or any of its
accessories by yourself. All repairs must only be carried out by
qualified service technicians.
• Never operate thehigh pressure washer near any flammable
liquids or gas. Doing so can lead to possible fire or explosion.
• Do not use thehigh pressure washer if its high-pressure hose,
mains lead, switch or any other component is damaged.

• Any extension lead that is used must be equipped with
awaterproof plug and socket connection designed for
outdoor use. Using anon-compliant extension lead poses
aserious danger.
• Theuser is ultimately responsible for any accidents or injuries
caused to others or their property.
• Store thehigh pressure washer in adry location out of
children’s reach.
• Use care when handling thehigh pressure washer or any of
its accessories. Keep all components clean, effective and safe
for use.
• Make sure that thepower supply used is rated at 230 V AC at
thepower point.
• Always pre-check that thehigh pressure washer, mains
lead and plug are undamaged before use in order to avoid
thepossibility of electric shock.
• Damaged leads, adaptors and plugs should not be replaced
with parts that do not meet theproper standard safety
requirements. Always unplug thehigh pressure washer if its
mains lead is damaged in any way.
• Do not use thehigh pressure washer if its switch is damaged.
Such asituation requires that thelead be changed
immediately by aqualified electrician.
• Never overload thehigh pressure washer. Never use thehigh
pressure washer for any other purposes than that for which it
was intended.

Areas of use
• Thehigh pressure washer is designed to clean walls, terraces, cars, lawnmowers,
bicycles, etc. Thehigh pressure washer may be used with specialised detergents
when necessary.
• Thehigh pressure washer is designed to be used outdoors for cleaning masonry,
wood, metal and plastic materials.
• This high pressure washer is only intended for private, non-commercial use.
• Thehigh pressure washer must not be used in any other manner than that
described in this instruction manual.
Warning: Read carefully through theinstruction manual before using thehigh pressure
washer, being extra attentive to any warning texts and symbols. This high pressure
washer has many functions that will make any of your jobs quicker and easier. Safety,
efficiency and quality have played animportant role in thedevelopment of this high
pressure washer which makes it easy to use and requiring minimal maintenance.

Assembly instructions
Check that all theparts are intact and that nothing is missing.
Warning: Turn off thehigh pressure washer and pull theplug from thewall socket
when servicing and adjusting themachine. Check that thepower switch is set to
the 0position before assembly.
1. Attach thehandle (fig. 1). Insert thehandle into theholes on thepressure washer
and securely attach it with thesupplied screws.
2. Attach thepistol holster and mains lead bracket (fig. 2). Slide them down securely
onto their fasteners.
3. Attach thepressure hose and pistol grip (fig. 3). Screw thepressure hose securely
onto thepistol grip.
4. Attach any desired accessory onto thepistol grip (fig. 4). Insert theaccessory into
thepistol grip bayonet coupling and turn it a ¼ turn clockwise until it locks into place.
Pressure washer pre-check:
Warning: Make sure that thechosen accessory is attached securely onto thepistol
grip to avoid therisk of it being forcefully ejected by thehigh pressure jet once
themachine is started.
5. Attach thewater supply inlet adaptor (fig. 5). Screw on theadaptor securely.
Do not overtighten. Use only your natural hand strength.
6. Connect thewater/garden hose (fig. 6). Fit thequick-release (sold separately) onto
thehose and snap it onto thepressure washer hose inlet.
Operating instructions
7. Connect theother end of thehose to atap (fig. 7). Connect agarden hose
(sold separately) between thetap and thepressure washer hose inlet. Use either
thethreaded mount or aquick-release adaptor for connecting.
Warning: Thewater supply temperature must not exceed 40 ºC. Run thehose
for amoment, especially if thehose been lying in thesun and has become warm.
Thepressure washer must always be operated in anupright/vertical position,
never in theprone/horizontal position.
8. Check that thepower switch is set to the 0position.
9. Plug themains lead into awall socket (fig. 9).
10. Let thewater pass through thelance (fig. 10). Pull thetrigger, releasing any trap-
ped air until water begins to flow.
11. Start thepressure washer (fig. 11).
- Turn thepower switch to the ▬position to start thepressure washer.
Point thelance towards asafe area.
- Extend thehigh pressure hose to the required length.

- If thewater supply comes from atank or similar non-pressurised source, both
thepump and garden hose must first be filled with water before thepump
is started. Thewater source tank must be positioned at ahigher level than
thepressure washer. Aninlet filter must first be installed onto thehose’s inlet if
thewater source is in any way impure or sedimentary.
12. Turn off thepressure washer
1. Turn thepower switch to the 0position to turn thepressure washer off.
2. Turn off thewater tap.
3. Minimise thepressure in thepump and hose by pressing thetrigger for afew
seconds or as long as it takes for all thewater to run out of thenozzle.
4. Unplug theplug from thewall socket.
5. Flip thesafety lock backwards to ensure that thetrigger grip is locked (fig. 12).
6. Wind in thehose.
Warning: Risk of mechanical damage. Thehigh pressure washer should never be run
dry (without water) as this may damage thepump. Always fit afilter onto thepressure
washer’s inlet valve if thesource water contains any impurities, otherwise thepump
may be damaged.
13. Using detergents (fig. 13).
- Flip thesafety lock backwards to ensure that thetrigger grip is locked.
- Remove thedetergent bottle’s cap and pull out thesiphon hose.
Fill thedetergent bottle with detergent.
- Insert thehose back into thebottle and refit thecap.
14. Adjusting pressure (fig. 14).
- Set thepressure to low by pulling thenozzle outwards (standard lance only,
not theturbo lance).
- Flip thesafety lock forwards to ensure that thetrigger grip is unlocked.
15. Adjusting thenozzle (fig. 15).
- Make sure that thepressure washer is correctly assembled, point thelance
towards thesurface to be cleaned, switch themotor on and pull thetrigger.
- Thewidth of thewater jet can be adjusted by turning thefront section of
thenozzle, see figure (not valid for theturbo lance).
16. Checking/cleaning theinlet filter (fig. 16).
- Thewater inlet is already equipped with afilter from themanufacturer to
remove any dirt, sediment and other contaminants which can damage
thepressure washer.
- Unscrew theadaptor and use tap water to rinse out thefilter from theback.
17. Cleaning thenozzle (fig. 17). Clean thenozzle with thecleaning needle when needed.

Useful tips
Note: Therecommended distance between thenozzle and thesurface to be cleaned
is approx. 30 cm. Shorter distances provide ahigher degree of cleaning power, but
can damage thesurface being cleaned. Longer distances result in agentler cleaning
jet for sensitive surfaces.
• Do not lay thepower lead on roads, cycle paths, etc to avoid possible damage.
Warning: Never use ashorter garden hose than 6 metres (1/2″hose). Thehose
buffers possible pressure surges in thewater lines which protects thepressure
washer and allows it work smoothly.
Warning: Water jetting out from thelance will cause it to recoil, so it is important to
hold thelance firmly with both hands while standing in abalanced and firm position.
• Never point theresulting water jet at people, animals, towards thepressure washer
itself or any other electrical equipment.
• Use protective glasses since water and particles can spray back towards you
when spraying against anobject.
Warning: Turn off thepressure washer and pull theplug when taking breaks.
Do not leave themachine on while unattended.
Care and maintenance
Warning: Turn off thepressure washer and pull theplug from thewall socket when
servicing and adjusting themachine.
• Regular cleaning of theinlet filter and thenozzle are important for theproper
operation of thepressure washer. Theinlet filter should be removed and cleaned
regularly to prevent sediments in thewater from damaging thepump and seals.
• Make sure thenozzle is open, carefully remove debris and build-up and rinse with
clean water.
• Protect thewasher against frost, empty it completely* and remove thepressure
hose. Place thepressure washer in dry storage for thewinter.
Note: Theguarantee is not valid if themachine is frost damaged.
* Start thepump with thetrigger pressed or with thepressure hose removed and let
thepump run for 30 seconds to completely empty thepump.
Storage
• Store thepressure washer in adry area out of thereach of children and others
who do not have theprerequisite knowledge to operate themachine. Disassem-
ble thepressure hose and lance and store them with thepressure washer. Avoid
storing thepressure washer in temperatures below 5 ºC or above 40 ºC.
Note: Protect thewasher against frost. Make sure that it is completely emptied
before storing.
Warning: Never run thepressure washer dry. Thepump’s seals can be damaged
in this way.

• Remember that thepressure washer may still be under pressure even when
turned off! Depressurise it by pressing thetrigger before disconnecting thehoses.
Removing thepressure hose while pressurised can be dangerous.
• New nozzles for thepressure washer can be purchased from thesupplier.
Warning: Never look into thenozzle when it is attached to thewasher.
Troubleshooting
Themachine does not start
• Is theplug is connected, is there power at thesocket, is thefuse/RCD whole/untripped?
• Thepressure washer is under pressure. Press thetrigger.
Problem with theplug/electrical socket
• Problem with theextension lead. Try another lead.
• Incorrect voltage. Check voltage.
• Thepower button is in the 0position.
Thepump has insufficient pressure
• Clogged/worn nozzle. Clean or change.
• Insufficient water supply. Check: A10-litre container should be able to be filled
within aminute.
• There can be akink in thehose. Make sure it is straight.
• Theinlet filter might be clogged. Make sure that it is clean.
• Thegarden hose is clogged or is leaking. Check.
Leaking pump
• Thehose couple nipple is not tight.
Thepump stops
• TheRCD/fuse has tripped. Check.
• Theextension lead is too long. Try it without anextension lead.
• Themachine is overheating because of aninsufficient water supply. Theinlet filter
may be clogged. Test thewater flow: A10-litre container should be able to be filled
within aminute.
