General Information
Indication For Use: The Coda Air Purication System may be used as an accessory item during
assisted reproductive procedures.
Please familiarize yourself with this manual before using the device.
The Coda®ECOTM 1200 is a proven technology in IVF and ART to purify the air in your laboratory and
improve health conditions for you, your employees, and your family.
Highlights
The Coda®ECOTM 1200 is a durable and an effective air purication unit.
Coda®ECOTM 1200 lter contains HEPA 99.97%, carbon and potassium permanganate to
remove VOCs and CACs.
The Coda®ECOTM 1200 lter should be changed at a minimum every 6 months.
Coda®ECOTM 1200 has a variable speed fan for your comfort.
Maximize and Support your Central Air Filter System
Most central air heating and air conditioning systems ‘dump’ larger levels of particulates and VOCs into
your space. This is due to inefcient lters and low ratings of lters.
In our study we measured particulate levels of 7000 ppm. By installing a Coda®ECOTM 1200 you can
bring this level to less than 1500 ppm, a signicant reduction. The impact is cleaner air and better
health. This reduction is important because particulates may carry contaminants onto your samples
and into your space.
The Coda®ECOTM 1200 lter will capture more than 1000 harmful particulates, VOCs, CACs and
inorganic compounds.

Servicing the Coda®ECOTM 1200
All devices to be returned must be prepared as described below for the protection of the servicing
team and for safety during transport. Clean the surface of the Coda®ECOTM 1200 as described in
the “Cleaning the Coda®ECOTM 1200” section. Place the unit in the original packaging. Enclose the
following information:

proof of purchase.

This manual describes the operation and intended use of the Coda®ECOTM 1200. It is imperative that
you familiarize yourself with the manual before you begin using the Coda®ECOTM 1200. Failure to follow
these instructions may result in injury to the individual. Incorrect usage of the device may cause the
device to break. In the event the device fails, turn off the unit and unplug from the AC outlet immediately.
Other than lter replacement, there are no User Serviceable Parts. Call Customer Service for all other
issues.
Supply Voltage
The device reecting catalogue number GELT-115 operates at a voltage of 115V~ and the device
reecting the catalogue number GELT-230 operates at a voltage of 230V~. Make sure the power cord
is intact and properly grounded.

Packaging
The packaging has been designed to maximize safe transportation of the Coda®ECOTM 1200 and its
accessories. After unpacking, keep all packaging for transportation of the device in case of return.
Positioning and Placement of the Coda®ECOTM 1200
The ultimate design of the Coda®ECOTM 1200 affords you unlimited possibility in the airow and
purication of the air in your space. Our 270 degree design allows the Coda®ECOTM 1200 to be placed
anywhere in the room. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Do not expose to ammable gases. Operating
temperature range is +5°C to +35°C or +41°F to +95°F. The 2 speed fan allows you to adjust the speed
to accommodate your room size and air ow. The air ow pattern will remain effective at ALL speeds,
and will work to clear your air. (See Figure 1)

Initial Inspection
1. Remove the Coda®ECOTM 1200 from its packaging. Remove the manuals and excess packaging
material. Save all packaging material in case of return.
2. Check the unit for any damage. Report any damage to Customer Service
immediately.
3. You will need to install a Coda®ECOTM 1200 Annual Filter Kit.
4. Plug the Coda®ECOTM 1200 into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
Filter Replacement
1. Make sure the unit is off. Unplug the power cord.
2. Push the top portion of the latch on the side of the unit and pull the bottom of
the latch outward. Then turn the latch and release the side panel.
3. Carefully remove the appropriate lters and dispose of them in accordance
with facility procedures.
4. Carefully place the Coda®ECOTM 1200 lters into the side of the unit. Make
sure it is centered in the opening and upright. (see diagram to the right)
5. Replace the side panel and secure the latch.
6. Select the desired location for the placement of the Coda®ECOTM 1200.
7. Be sure the unit is level and air ow is not impeded by other furniture or objects.
8. The unit must be plugged into a properly grounded electrical outlet and positioned at least
4 inches from any wall.
9. Adjust the 2 speed fan on the rear panel of the unit to set the desired speed.
10. Store the User Manual in a safe place for future use and for ordering of lters and replacement
parts.

Mounting the Coda®ECOTM 1200 to the Wall
Note: Mounting the Unit to the Wall is Mandatory
The Use of Brakes on the Castors is Recommended
A mounting kit is included to secure the Coda®ECOTM 1200 to a wall. The kit provides the necessary
hardware to safely secure the unit. Due to the various types of material the wall may be constructed
from the user will need to supply proper anchoring devices. Because each instance may present
a unique situation these are not included in the kit.
Kit contents:
Instructions: (see Figure 2)
1. Drill holes to install wall anchoring device using the dimensions shown. Refer to instructions with the
anchoring device for proper hole size and installation.
2. Loop the cable end through a bracket slot then secure the wall mount brackets to the wall. Use the
oversize washers with the anchoring hardware as shown.
3. Attach the two long close eye bolts to the rear of the Coda®ECOTM 1200.
4. Use the oval threaded connector to secure the free end of the cables to the closed eye bolts.
Cleaning the Coda®ECOTM 1200
Use a mild house-hold cleaner. Spray the cleaner on a clean soft cloth, then use the cloth to wipe down
the unit. Do not spray any liquid directly on the unit.
