1. Unplug and remove the Hand Controllers trom me ColecoVision'" Console
unil
2. Plug aHand Controller into the socket inside aHand Controller Well of the
Roller Controller.
3. Wind the Hand Controller Cord no ally inside the Well, then slide the bottom of
the Hand Controller Into the Well. When Hand Controller is In place, push the
top ot the Hand Controller dawn until it snaps into pi see Attach the other Hand
Controller to the Roller Controller in the same manner. The Hand Conlroller
lacks will lit only one way —DO NOT FORCE them into the controller sockets
.
4. The WYE Connector Cable lacks have the number 1molded on lop of one jack
and ihe number 2molded on lop ot the other jack Plug jack n1into the rear
socket, then plug jack a2Into the front socket ins*do the Hand Controller
storage compartments of your ColecoVision'11 Console unit as shown in illus-
tration Bo sure the numbers .ire facing up when you are plugging in Ihe lacks
5. Plug the Power Adapter Plug from tho Roller Controller unit into the Power
Supply socket in back of your ColecoVision'" Console unit
6. Plug the jack of tho AC Power Supply unit into the back ot the Power Adapter
Plug as shown in Illustration Plug the AC Power Supply unit Into a11/120 volt
household Hlectrieal outlet Make sure the Power Supply is fully inserted into
the etectneal outlet
7. MODE SWITCH: The function of the MODE SWITCH is to select between a
Joystick cartridge and acartridge designed exclusively 1or use with the Roller
Controller Slide the MODE SWITCH to the ROLLER Cartridge position when
playing roller-game cartridges The JOYSTICK Cartridge position can be used
with most games that require use of the hand controller Joystick Some Joy-
stick cartiidge games will be more challenging than others when played with
Roller Conlroller. Get the "feel" ol the game betore you decide to use Roller
Controller to play aJoystick cartridge gam«.
Now you are ready to begin playing your game' BE SURE THAT THE COLE-
COVISION'" UNIT IS OFF BEFORE INSERTING OR REMOVING CARTRIDGE.
Refer to your GAME CARTRIDGE Instruction Guide for game play instructions.

POWER SWITCH on CONSOLE unit it turned "OFF".
OAlways unplug the POWER SUPPLY from the 110/120 volt outlet when you
have finished playing IMPORTANT: ONLY CONNECT THE CONSOLE POWER
SUPPLY UNIT IMTO A110/120 VOLT HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL SERVICE.
OTHERWISE SERIOUS DAMAGE MAY OCCUR TO ELECTRICAL PARTS
OF THE SYSTEM

under normal in-house use.
Coleco's sole and exclusive liability for detects in material and workmanship
shall be limited to repair or replacement at its authorized Coieco Service Station
Tins warranty does not obligate Coieco to bear the cost of transportation charges
in connection with the repair or replacement of defective parts.
This warranty is invalid if the damage or defect is caused by accident, act ol

Please read the Owner's Manual carefully before using the product If your
ROLLER CONTROLLER fails to operate properly, please refer to the trouble-
shooting checklist in the Owner's Manual. If you cannot correct the malfunction
after consulting tho troubleshooting checklist, please call Customer Service on
Coleco's toll-free service hotline 1-800-842-1225 nationwide. This service Is In
operation from HOD a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through
Friday.
If Customer Service advises you to return your ROLLER CONTROLLER;,
please return It postage prepaid and insured, with your name, address, proof of
Ihe date of purchase, and abrief description of the problem to the Service Station
you have been directed to return it fo by the toll-free service Information If your
unit is found to- be factory defective during the first 90 days, it wi" be repaired or
replaced at no cost to you. If the umf is found to have been consumer damaged or
abused and therefore not covered by the warranty, then you will be advised, in
advance, of repair costs.

1. NOTE: actor? attaching youi Roller Controller to the ADAM~ Computer
System, unplug the primer power cord from the electrtcal wall outlet.
2. Unplug and remove the Hand Controllers (torn the memory console.
3. Plug aHand Controller into the socket inside the Hand Controller Well of ihe

4. Wind the Hand Controller Cord neatly inside the Well, then slide the Bottom
of the Hand Controller Into the Well When Hand Controller is in place, push
the top ot the Hand Controller down until it snaps into place. Attach the
other Hand Controller to the- Roller Controller in the some manner The Hand
Controller jacks will In only one way -DO MOT FORCE them into the con-
troller sockets.
5. Trie WYE Connector Coble jacks have the number 1molded on top ol one
jack and Ihe number 2molded on top o( the other jack Plug the jacks into the
corresponding "CONTROLLER" Sockets on the memory console, as shown
In Illustration. Be sure the numbers are facing up when you are plugging
in jacks.
6. Remove the Printer Cable Plug from the memory console "POWER' Socket.
7. Then inserl Ihe ADAM** Adapter Into the memory console "POWER" Socket.
B. Now insert Ihe Printer Cable Plug into the ADAM"" Adapter marked
"POWER".
9. insert ihe Power Adapter Plug from Ihe Roile* Controller unit two the ADAM"
Adapter morked •ACCESSORY.'
10. Plug the power cord on Ihe pnnter into the electrical wall outlel Now you are
ready to begin playing your game! BE SURE THAT COMPUTER IS OFF
BEFORE INSERTING OR REMOVING GAME CARTRIDGE. Refer to your
GAME CARTRIDGE Instruction Guide tor game play inslructions.
NOTE; The ADAM'" Adapter does nol have lo be removed trorn the memory
console after using your Roller Coniroller.

TO YOUR ADAM™ FAMILY COMPUTER MODULE (Fig. 2)
1. NOTE: Before attaching your Roller Controller to the ADAM "Computer Mod-
ule, unplug the printer power cord from Ihe electrical wall outlet
2. Unplug and remove the Hand Controllers from the ColecoVislon* Console
unit.
3. Plug aHand Controller into Ihe socket inside aHand Controller Well or the
Roller Controller
4. Wind Ihe Hand Controller Cord neatly inside the Well. then, slide Ihe bottom
of the Hand Controller into the Well. When Hand Controller is in place, push
the top of the Hand Controller down until it snaps into place. Attach the
Other Hand Controller to the Roller Controller In the same manner. The Hand
Controller jacks will fit only one way —DO NOT FORCE them into the con-
troller sockets.
5. The WYE Connector Cable jacks have the number imolded on iop of one
jack and the number 2molded on top ol the other jack. Plug jack #1 into the
rear socket, then plug jack #2 Into the Iront socket inside the Hand Con-

6. Remove the Printer Cable Plug irom the memory console "POWER" Socket.
7. Then insert the ADAM" Adapter into the memory console POWER" Socket
S. Now insert the Printer Cable Plug into the ADAM'" Adapter marked
"POWER'.
9. Insert the Power Adapter Plug from the Roller Controller* unit Into the ADAM'"
Adapter marked ACCESSORY
10. Plug the power cord on th« printer Into the electrical wall outlet Now you are
ready to begin playing your game" BE SURE THAT THE COLECOVISlON*
