Intelli-Connect Mobile Wireless Operator Installation Guide

Overview
The following procedure is a guide when installing a WOP-20 Wireless Operator.
The WOP-20 can mount directly on the front of a Magnetek®IMPULSE®•VG+
Series 4, IMPULSE®•G+ Series 4 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), or it can be
remote mounted on a cabinet door or panel, using a remote mounting kit.
Installation of the WOP-20 can also work with the Magnetek IMPULSE®•G+ Mini
VFD. Using the WOP-20 with the IMPULSE•G+ Mini requires a remote mounting
kit. It is recommended for the Series 4 & G+ Mini, that the WOP is mounted on a
cabinet door for the best wireless connectivity. Before using VFD-controlled
equipment, read and adhere to all guidelines given in the related technical
manuals. The user should be trained, knowledgeable, and fully aware of all
hazards associated with crane equipment: including hoists, lifting devices, and
electrical controls.
When installing the system, follow wiring practices provided in the VFD technical
manuals, while following all applicable electrical codes. Remove power to the
VFD when installing. Ensure that the mounting of all components is secure and
follow the installation considerations and environmental conditions for the VFDs.
