Personal Blender properly. Just a little preventive care can save you a great deal of time
and money over the life of your appliance.

Please read all the safety information, warnings, and instructional material found in this
booklet before getting started. Set your Compact Personal Blender on a flat, sturdy
surface before unpacking. When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions
should always be followed.

before using the appliance for the first time.

This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning or removing contents from blender jar or cup. Never put hands into the
blender jar or cups, or handle the blades with appliance plugged in. To unplug, grasp
the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an
external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly
switched on and off by the utility.

Check carefully that the voltage and frequency of the power net match the
indications on the rating label of the appliance.
The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in
accordance with all local standards and requirements.
Only use the utensils included with the appliance.
Keep hands and utensils out of blender jar while blending to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the blender (another trade name may be used). A
scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running (does not
apply to an acceptable scraper integral with the appliance).
Blades are extremely sharp. When handling blade assembly, always hold by the shaft.
Handle carefully.
To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without
blender jar properly attached.
To avoid a risk of injury, before pouring with the cover removed, carefully remove the
blade assembly.
Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to
the Comfee Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or
electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug-in
water or other liquid.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.
Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord.
Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter or touch hot
surfaces.
Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
Do not use the appliance if there is any water in it or the parts are still wet after
cleaning.
Do not use the appliance without ingredients.
Handle with great care when using sharp accessories like knives. Only handle when
food content stops moving inside the appliance.
Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of
the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own
risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, nor the supplier may be held liable.
Always operate blender jar with the cover in place.
Never leave your blender unattended while running.
The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons

RECYCLING
The appliance must not be disposed of with household waste but taken to an authorized
waste separation and recycling center.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

This blender is for making juice, and please cut all solid vegetables and fruit into
pieces no larger than 2,5 cm (1.0 in.).
Do not use the blender for making sticky food like dough, puree, honey, or grinding
meat, nuts etc.
Do not blend hot liquids or carbonated beverages in chopper and blender jar.
The blender is only suited for blending cold ingredients. Also, do not put the blender
or the blender jar into a microwave oven. Do not use to heat up liquids.
The blender can also crush ice. However, always add enough liquid to ensure the ice
can move around.
The blender has a built-in safety at the start-up. The blender jar must be placed
correctly into the base before you can start the blender.
Do not fill the blender jar past the max top line on the blender jar.
If the motor sputters, switch off the blender immediately, pull the plug from the
socket and let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes.
Clean the blender according to the instructions in the “Cleaning and maintenance”
section.

CAUTION
Fill the blender jar with your favorite ingredients. Make sure that the
ingredients do not exceed the 600 ml indication on the blender jar, or the 300
ml indication on the smaller blender jar.
Carefully hold the blade assembly by the bottom of the base, the blades
turned away from you, and secure it on the opening of the blending bottle by
screwing it on.
Place the blender base on a flat surface and plug it in.
Turn the blender jar, with the blade assembly attached to it, upside down, line
up the arrow on the blender jar with the arrow on the base and push the jar
into the base. Turn the blender jar clockwise to lock it into the base.
Push the button to start blending. Release the button to stop blending.
Stop the blender when everything is mixed as desired. Turn the blender jar
counterclockwise and remove the jar from the base.
Turn the blender jar upside down, remove the blade assembly from the jar and
screw the drinking lid on to the jar. This way you can take the jar with you as a
drinking Travel Cup.

Pull the plug from the socket and disassemble the accessories before cleaning the
appliance.
Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the blender base. Never immerse the
blender base in water or other liquids.
Except for the base, you can clean all parts in water: the drinking lid, the blender jars
and the blade assembly.
When not using the blender for a longer period, save it in a well ventilated, dry place
to prevent the motor of the appliance from being affected by humidity.
Any other service should be performed by an authorized service representative.
