(Remember toopen thevent duringthis function,
but keepit closedduring coolingfor maximum
cooling eciency.) You canchoose anyfan
speed youprefer.
During thisfunction, thedisplay willshow the
actual roomtemperature, notthe settemper-
ature asin thecooling mode.

SAVER FEATURE:

3 minutesafter thecompressor shutso. The
fan thencycles onfor 2minutes at10 minute
intervals untilthe roomtemperature isabove
the settemperature, atwhich timethe
compressor turnsback onand coolingstars.

SLEEP FEATURE:

increase by2 degreesF 30minutes afterthe
mode isselected. Thetemperature willthen
increase byanother 2degrees Fafter an

ends theSleep modeand theunit willcontinue
to operateas originallyprogrammed. The
Sleep modeprogram canbe cancelledat any

will countdown thetime remaininguntil start.
The selectedtime willregister in5 secondand the
system willautomatically revertback todisplay the
previous temperaturesetting.
Perform thesame proceduresas above to setthe
Timero settings.
Press theTemp./Timer adjustbutton toadjust the
setting timeto 0.0 at anytime willcancel the
AutoStart/Stop function.

send thissignal untilthe featureis deactivatedby
pressing theFollow Mebutton again.If theunit does
not receivethe FollowMe signalduring any7 minutes
interval, theunit willbeep toindicate theFollow Me
mode hasended. Thedisplay onthe remotecontrol
indicates thetemperature atthe remoteONLY.
The actualtemperature canbe displayedat theunit
by pressingthe FanOnly mode. When inthe Cool
mode,theunit displayindicates theset temperature.
This featurecan beactivated fromthe remote
control ONLY.The remotecontrol servesas a
remote thermostatallowing forthe precise
temperature controlat itslocation.

you shouldbecome familiarwith.
The Coolcircuit hasan automatic3 minutetime delayed start ifthe unitis turnedo andon
quickly.This preventsoverheating ofthe compressorand possiblecircuit breakertripping.
The fanwill continueto runduring thistime.
The controlwill maintainany settemperature within2 F, between60 Fand 90F degrees.
The controlis capableof displayingtemperature indegrees Fahrenheitor degreesCelsius.
To convertfrom oneto theother,press andhold theUP andDOWN Temp/Timer buttonsat the
same time,for 3seconds.
Exhaust Control
This ExhaustControl allowsthe airconditioner toeither circulateinside air(Closed) orexhaust
air tothe outside(Open).
The Closedposition isused whenmaximum coolingis desired.It mayalso beused forair re-
circulation withoutcooling whenthe airconditioner isset inany FAN position.
The Openposition removesstale airfrom the room andexhausts itto theoutside. Freshair is
drawn inthrough normalpassages inthe home.
4-Way Louvers
The 4-Way airdirectional louversallow youto
direct airow upor down,left orright throughout
the roomas needed.To adjustthe airdirectional
louvers side-to-side,use thecenter handleas
you moveit side-to-side.
