Description
Commlite electronic lens mount adapter EF-E HS can change the EF/EF-S
Mount lens over the E-Mount cameras, and meanwhile can achieve
functions as: USB Firmware Upgrading; Super High Speed Auto Focus
Function; Phase detection AF and Contrast detection AF Switch; EXIF Info.
Transmitting; Electronic Aperture Control; Built-in IS Stabilization
Function;Gold-plated Contact Pins, Which satisfy all the photography or
video users who need this super combination. Before usage of the adapter,
please ensure the adapter is compatible with your camera and lens.
Before usage, please carefully read the user manual, and learn how to
operate the item. Be sure to keep your user manual for further reading.

Notice
1.This adapter is built-in with USB firmware upgrade port, please pay
attention to Commlite website to learn the update information in the first
place;
2.After installing EF-E HS, please set the lens to AF mode if the AF function is
needed;
3. When you use a lens heavier than the camera, be sure to hold the lens
while moving the camera in shooting;
4. Since the minimum focusing distance of the lens will increase when the
adapter is connected, the maximum magnification and range of vision may
change;
5.For some incompatible camera and lens, one can try to use the adapter as
the manual adapter; During the usage, while it shows prompt like ‘Incorrect
installation of lens’, please set the menu mode to 'Release Shutter without
Lens' or 'Shutter Priority';

Assemble and Disassembling
1. Assemble
Step 1. Connect the EF/EF-S lens to EF-E HS mount adapter
Refer to the follow illustration, press down the ‘lens release button’ of
the adapter, align the EF/EF-S lens mounting mark to the
corresponding mark on the adapter, and turn clockwise until tightened

Step 2. Connect the mount adapter to E-mount camera
Refer to the follow illustration, press down the ‘lens release button’ of
the E-mount camera, align the adapter mounting mark to the
corresponding mark on the camera, and turn clockwise until tightened

2. Disassemble
Step 1. Turn off the camera power, then take off the adapter which is connected
����with EF/EF-S lens from E-Mount camera
Refer to the follow illustration, press down the ‘lens release button’ of
the E-mount camera, turn counterclockwise the adapter which is
connected with EF/EF-S lens until it can be easily taken off

Step 2. Take off the EF/EF-S lens from the EF-E HS mount adapter
Refer to the follow illustration, press down the ‘lens release button’ of
the mount adapter, turn counterclockwise the EF/EF-S lens until it can
be easily taken off

Usage of Focus Mode Switch (CDAF&PDAF Switch)
1. After install the adapter to the camera, adapter will automatically detect and
skip to the corresponding model (For cameras with Phase Detection AF will
be automatically entered into PDAF mode, for cameras without Phase
Detection AF will automatically enter into Contrast Detection AF mode);
2. To switch the mode, please turn off the camera and remove the adapter from
the camera, then install it on the camera again. Then press the C/P button
(Focus mode switch button) and restart the camera at the same time to switch
mode;
