O VERVIEW
The Intel PRO/100 S Management Adapter is a highly flexible, 32-bit PCI-based LAN adapter that improves network response time and reduces customer
support costs. The adapter combines 10Base-T, 100Base-T, and hardware-based IPSec security capabilities to form a core ingredient essential to
networking connectivity. This product provides a single UTP interface and is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3/802.3u specifications. Advanced
management capabilities such as Wake on LAN (WOL) and Alert on LAN (AoL) are available when using the PRO/100 S with a compatible Compaq
desktop, minitower, workstation, or notebook product. Additionally, the Intel PRO/100 S Management Adapter delivers industry-leading performance,
reliability, and security.
NOTE: * = AoL technology is not available on all Compaq platforms.

The Intel PRO/100 S Management Adapter has a one-year limited warranty or the remainder of the warranty of the Compaq product in which it is
installed. Technical support is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, by phone as well as through online support forums. Certain restrictions and
