USER MANUAL

Thank you for purchasing the Concept Smoke Screen Sanihaze fog generator. Before using the machine, we
recommend you read the operating instructions carefully. Please follow the safety and maintenance requirements to
ensure a long operating life for your generator.

INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTICES
For any queries, please contact Concept Smoke Screen for further guidance.
• Keep the generator dry.
• Only power the generator from a grounded socket to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Before powering the generator, ensure that the AC supply voltage matches the voltage specifications of the
generator e.g. 110V 50Hz or 240V 60Hz.
• When down powering the generator, switch the machine o with it’s onboard power switch before discon-
necting from the mains socket..
• Only re-fill the generator with fluid when it is down powered.
• If the generator will not be used for some time, ensure it is switched o and down powered.
• The generator is for indoor use only. Do not expose the generator to rain or humidity. If the generator
becomes wet, isolate from any power source if safe to do so. Do not attempt to power until it has been
dried. If moisture enters the internal electronic components, isolate from power and contact Concept Smoke
Screen.
• Do not attempt to repair or modify the generator yourself. The internal components contain high voltage
parts that can remain dangerous even after the generator has been disconnected from mains supply.
• Never point the nozzle towards people.
• Do not touch the nozzle as it can become hot.
• Do not cover the generator and maintain a clear area around it of at least 50 cm when it is turned on to
allow sucient air flow to the generator.
• Do not direct the fog towards any naked flames.
• Please observe any warning or caution notices on the generator.
• Use ONLY Concept Smoke Screen certified fluid with the generator and it must be specific to the generator.
Non-approved fluid can cause the formation of toxic products and/or damage the generator.
• Do not allow the reservoir to run dry as this can damage the pump.
• Before transporting the generator, please ensure the fluid reservoir is emptied.
• Do not drink or ingest the fog fluid. If the fluid is ingested, seek medical attention.
• Do not allow the fluid to come into contact with eyes. If the fluid comes into contact with eyes, rinse
immediately and seek medical attention.
UNPACKING & INSPECTION
Upon receipt of the generator, carefully open the packing box and check to ensure all parts have been received
and are in good condition. If any parts are damaged or missing, contact Concept Smoke Screen to arrange for
return and inspection.
Sanihaze box contents are as follows:
• 1 x Sanihaze fog generator
• 1 x Mains power cord
• 1 x Wireless transmitter
• 1 x User Manual

SETUP
• Unpack and carefully remove all packing gaskets. Pay particular attention to ensure the nozzle does not
have any packing surrounding it.
• Place the generator on a flat surface with at least 50cm of space around the machine.
• To fill the reservoir, remove the lid and add Concept Smoke Screen approved fluid until the reservoir is 80%
full.
• Replace the lid.
• Do not use unapproved fluid. Doing so may damage the machine and/or result in the production of toxic
substances.
OPERATION
Do not overfill the reservoir and remember to re-tighten the cap.
Once the generator has been filled, power it up by connecting to a mains socket and operating the power
switch on the back. Before powering, confirm that the mains supply matches the voltage specification on the
technical notice located on the back of the generator.

INDEX OF TERMS
• Fluid tank - unscrew the lid to refill with fluid
• Fluid level indicator - check the fluid levels
• Power switch - turn the machine on/o
• Mains cable - plugs into a wall socket to give the machine power
• Wireless receiver - allows the machine to be activated remotely usin the wireless transmitter

With the power connected, the generator will begin to heat up. While the generator is heating, it is not capable
of producing fog. During heating, the red LED located on the handle will flash. Once the correct temperature has
been achieved, the LED will turn solid.
LED
WIRELESS TRANSMITTER
Battery: DC 12V 27A battery
Transmitting distance: The nominal range of the transmitter is 50m
without obstacles. Any obstacles between the transmitter and the
generator will reduce the range. In most situations, you should
expect a range of 10-25m.
WIRELESS RECEIVER
Do not try to remove the wireless receiver as this will damage the
main control board of the generator.

ENROLLING ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTERS
The transmitter supplied with the generator has been pre-enrolled at the factory and does not require pairing.
The receiver is capable or enrolling up to 5 additional transmitters. Transmitters may also be enrolled to
multiple generators (enabling one transmitter to trigger several generators simultaneously)
When the generator is first powered on, the green LED located near the receiver will flash for 15 seconds
indicating the enrolment period.
During this period, operate button A on the transmitter you wish to enrol.
Successful pairing is indicated by the LED changing to a solid green before the 15 second period has ended.
CREATING FOG
Before creating fog, it is recommended that the area is cleaned as per your standard cleaning schedule. The
fog is able to sanitise in dicult to reach areas, but pre-cleaning is an important step and the fog is intended to
supplement this, not replace it.
There are 2 methods for creating fog once the generator has reached operational temperature.
Wireless transmitter
Pressing button B will activate the generator and button
A will stop it. N.B. if button B was used when enrolling
the transmitter this button will both start and stop the
generator.
Button on handle
Pressing the button on the handle will trigger the
generator for a pre-configured 5-minute activation.
This can be interrupted by pressing the button again
or using the wireless remote to stop the activation.
The fog produced is safe to breath, however it is
recommended to operate the generator remotely and
leave the area to avoid any possible allergic reaction
to the sanitising fog.

CALCULATING THE AMOUNT OF ACTIVATIONS REQUIRED
The generator creates a sucient concentration of fog at a rate of 20m3/minute.
To calculate the volume of the area that you are interested in sanitising, multiply the length, width and height of
the area. This will give you the volume in m3.
Divide the volume by 20 and this will tell you the number of minutes that one generator will need to produce fog
for.
Example:
100m3 area requires a 5 minute activation of one generator or 2.5 minute activation of 2 generators.
RECOMMENDED LENGTH OF TIME FOR SANITISING.
It is recommended that the fog is allowed to persist in the area for a minimum of 10 minutes before the area is
ventilated.
NOTES:
It is normal for a small amount of condensation to build up at the nozzle. When the generator is cool, simply wipe
this down with a clean cloth.
It is normal for the generator to emit a small amount of fog from time to time when it is in standby. This can also
occur after the generator has been down powered and is cooling down.
If the generator is operated for an extended period of fog production, eventually it will go under the ready tem-
perature and will need to pause in order to reheat – this is done automatically. The red LED on the handle will
flash during this period and will return to solid once the generator has reached its operational temperature.
If the generator runs out of sucient fluid, it will automatically stop until it is re-filled.
CLEANING AND STORING YOUR SANIHAZE GENERATOR
Do not allow the fluid reservoir or container to become contaminated with impurities. Immediately replace the
caps once filling has been completed.
When cool, the exterior of the generator may be wiped with a clean damp (but not wet) cloth.
Before storing the fog generator, empty the reservoir of fluid and replace with distilled water. Run a 2 minute
cycle with distilled water to avoid any blockages occurring while the generator is in storage.
It is recommended to power up the generator and run a distilled water cycle at least once a month if it is not
being used.
Excessive dust or liquid residue on the generator will reduce it’s performance and cause poor heat dissipation
so it’s important to keep the case clean..
