3. Overview
3.1. Product description
The, intraoral scanner, Condor is used in dentistry for taking optical impressions of teeth on patients or models. This
method replaces the traditional, analogue, chemical based impressions.
This new technology distinguishes itself by its simplicity, ease of use, speed of execution and especially the generation
of Condor Open Files
Advantages3.1.1.
•Accuracy: eliminating problems related to material deformation.
•The reproducibility: It is possible to reproduce the impression without limits.
•The double impression: when an area is insufficiently scanned , it is possible to only re-scan this area
unlike with a conventional impression, which needs to be redone completely.
•Time Gain: chairside and laboratory side by removing the plaster casting, wax modelling and lost wax
technique). This leads to a decrease in the number of sessions.
•Patient comfort: it avoids the gag reflex in some patients, a shorter waiting time in the chair and the
patient spends less time with his mouth open.
•the diversity of materials: In CAM, all dental materials, insofar as they are biocompatible and milled,
can be used.
CondorScan is an open system3.1.2.
Working with digital technology is essential nowadays. To facilitate this integration into this new era, CondorScan
opted for the export of open files, such as STL and PLY (colour).

They are easily imported into any CAD/CAM software and can be transferred to any laboratory or collaborator.
CondorScan does not use powder3.1.3.
With CondorScan you do not need to powder the teeth to generate the 3D model. This simplifies handling and allows
colour scans, which can be re-scanned and are accurate.
CondorScan is ready to use3.1.4.
CondorScan is easy to use, however, a learning period is recommended.
Other advantages of CondorScan are:
•No calibration is required.
•An easy to use software.
•A user-friendly manipulation in the mouth.
CondorScan is lightweight and compact3.1.5.
The CondorScan is a compact and ergonomic intra oral scanner. It fits perfectly in your dental unit. Its low weight
(about 100g) allows you to manipulate it as easily as the other tools you usually use.
CondorScan is extremely realistic3.1.6.
The realism of highly detailed 3D images allows you to have much more than a simple optical impression device . It
allows for pathology diagnostics as an intraoral 2D camera .
It also opens your analysis to telemedicine (remote diagnosis).
Finally, it allows to visualize in 3D the mouth of your patient and explain the reasons for the proposed treatments.
