Contrive S4 User manual

S4 Door and Window Sensor based on BLE5.0 technology, it can be
installed on doors, windows and even desk drawers. By detecting the
opening and closing of doors and windows, the S4 can wirelessly
notify toAvior of arrivals and departures.
The S4 consists of a main body, mounted to the door or window frame,
and a magnet to be mounted to the door or window.

When the device detects the door is opened or sensor is tampered, it
will automatically send status data to Avior.

To use the sensor you will have to proceed with the pairing by
appropriately configuringAvior.
For Avior configuration you can connect the device to a PC and run the
AviorSuite software or access the cloud administration interface or
integrated web server (if available).
On the configuration page, select one of the 8 door sensors (identified
from A to F) and enter the MAC address you find on the device. It is also
possible to assign a name that identifies the sensor.
Once the sensor is paired you will be able to detect the opening and
closing of the door, the tampering of the sensor, the loss of connection
and the battery charge level.

Push up the Battery Rear Cover and open it, take out the Button Cell
and replace it. Cover it up again to finish battery replacement.
The device has no power switch. Remove the [2] to
power on the door/window sensor.
Tear off the 3M protective film on the Main Body Back.
Paste the [A] to the door or window frame, and [B]
to the door or window, respectively.
When pasting, make sure the surfaces are clean and dry.
Main Body and Magnet must be aligned when the door or window is
closed
When installation is finished, make sure the [4] is
closed (blue light will not flash), otherwise the installation is
unsuccessful.
