Functionality
The environmental sensor developed by Enerbrain is designed
to be always online thanks to Sigfox and LoRa connectivity,
recording and transmitting environmental data such as relative
humidity and temperature detected by the PTC probe. Thanks
to the rechargeable battery that lasts over 4 years, the
installation requires no wiring: the sensor is supplied already
configured and ready to transmit data. The eSense can be
used alone (with APIs) or as part of Enerbrain's energy
efficiency system. Manufactured in Italy with the best
components on the market, it has the highest precision and
does not require calibration. The PTC probe allows temperature
measurement on pipes or other surfaces.

Safety
Temperature limits:
-storage: from -40 °C or above 75 °C
-of use: from 0 °C to 50 °C
The eSense PTC is usually installed in areas where children
do not have access.
In the presence of children: once installed and fixed on a wall
or flat surface, the product is safe, but during installation, if
the box is not packed, be careful not to leave small
components such as screws or fasteners near the children as
they represent a risk of suffocation.
Environment of use
The eSense is designed for indoor use only
Do not carry the sensor in a breast pocket or near the
peacemaker.
Immediately switch off the eSense if there is an indication of
interference in progress.
If people in the vicinity of the device use other personal
medical devices, consult your physician or device
manufacturer to determine if it is adequately shielded from
external RF energy, an area where sparks from the eSense
could cause a fire or explosion.
Do not use or install in areas where any sparks could
cause a fire or an explosion.
Warnings for
transport
Observe all rules and instructions for transporting
electronic devices that include lithium batteries. If
eSense is transported on an airplane, make sure it has
been turned off correctly using a magnet and following
the shutdown procedure.
Medical devices
People with pacemakers should: keep at least 20 cm
away from the eSense when it is on
The crossed-out symbol on the box on the battery,
in the documentation or on the packaging indicates
that all electronic products and batteries must be
separated at collection points waste after use;
they must not be disposed of in the normal waste stream
together with domestic waste. It is the responsibility of the
user to dispose of the equipment using a collection point or a
service for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE) and batteries according to current
regulations.
Disposal and recycling
Make sure that no sharp objects, including animal teeth or
nails, come into contact with the battery.
Do not expose the battery or device to direct sunlight and use
it in places with high humidity.
To avoid electric shock or fire during charging operations,
unplug the power cord and charger during thunderstorms. Do
not open, disassemble, crush, bend or deform, puncture or
destroy the battery.
Do not modify or reconstruct, do not attempt to insert foreign
objects into the battery, do not immerse or expose to water or
other liquids, or expose to fire, explosion or other hazards.
These conditions may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Avoid dropping the device, especially on a hard surface or
exposing the device and battery to liquid. In this case,
contact Enebrain customer service to verify the integrity of
the device.
Improper use of the battery may cause fire, explosion
or other hazards.
Recharge eSense batteries only with prior authorization
and indication from a technician
Battery warnings
Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery yourself.
Only a service provider authorized by Enerbrain should
replace the battery, which must meet the standards.
