1. Precauons
Storage and keeping
Do not expose the monitor to excessive heat or cold. The storage temperature of this device is -30 ~+75 C, and the oper
ang temperature is -20 ~+60 C. The Humidity is Rh90%.
Never use this device near a bathtub, wash basin, kitchen, damp basement, swimming pool or similar place.
Never use this device in environments with excessive moisture, dust or smoke.
Avoid dropping or striking this device.
Never puncture, scratch or use abrasive cleaning materials on this device.
The monitor is not designed to be waterproof.
Operang Precauons
Make sure all cables are connected properly observe polarity. Improer cable connecons may damage the monitor. Re
move the power cable connecons when you do not intend to use the unit.

1. Remove all the cable connecons from the monitor before cleaning the unit.
2. Use a mild household detergent and clean the unit with a slightly damp, so cloth. Never use strong solvents such as thin-
ner or benzene, as they might damage the nish of the device.

Mounng the Monitor

1) Select a locaon allowing 2” space between monitor and walls, cabinets, or other objects to allow adequate air circulaon
around it. Avoid enclosed spaces, areas with excessive vibraon or subject it to severe impacts.
2) Never use this device in environments with excessive moisture, dust or smoke. Do not place cables where they may be
pinched or stepped on. Monitor is not designed to be waterproof.
3) The device may be powered by a 12 or 24 volt automove baery or vehicle electrical system.
4) Make sure all cables are connected properly, observe polarity. Improper cable connecons may damage the monitor. Remove
the power cable connecons when you do not intend to use the unit.

Installaon Notes: Trigger wire funcon
• Camera 1 and Camera 2 connecons are powered from the monitor
and both work whether or not the trigger wire is connected . When us-
ing the monitor, you may cycle between them to monitor either camera.
When the trigger wire is energized, the monitor automacally switches to view that Camera (Green for Camera 2, White for
Camera 1). When voltage is removed from the trigger wire, monitor returns to previous view.
• If the monitor is o, when the trigger wire is energized, the monitor will turn on to show Camera 2. This safety feature is par-
cularly useful for night driving, as the monitor light can be distracng to the operator. Mode will adjust monitor brightness
in dierent presets.
• Grid bars are available when triggered to assist in backing. They may be turned o in the menu. When there is no voltage on
the trigger wire, the on screen display will show “CAM1” or “CAM2” .

(1) CAM – Switches between all cameras Connected to Monitor.
(2) MENU – Access Brightness, Contrast, Language, Rotaon, etc., also selects choice
(3) √ - Select buon to conrm video presets (STANDARD, SOFT, VIVID, LIGHT)
(4) buon – For adjusng of Volume, Brightness, Contrast, Language, Rotaon, etc. increase
(5) buon – For adjusng of Volume, Brightness, Contrast, Language, Rotaon, etc. decrease
(6) POWER – Turns monitor On and O.
Pressing MENU opens one feature at a me (Picture, Volume, Language, Mirroring, Video, Opon, Imperial or Metric, Park Setup,
Interval Cong, Cam Delay) and use buons to highlight, MENU to select, and to adjust.
• buons adjust Volume. Aer pressing MENU, they adjust the feature shown.
• To adjust the Aspect Rao from 16:9 to 4:3, select “Opon” in the MENU and use to adjust
• If installing monitor upside down, select Mirroring in the menu and use to adjust Vercle “V”, and if you need to mirror the
image as well, adjust to Vercle and Horizontal “VH”.

proved agent will void this warranty. The maximum liability of CT under this
warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product covered by the warran-
ty. All defecve products should be returned to CT with shipping charges pre-
paid. CT will not accept collect shipments.
Symptom possible Causes/Soluons
No picture. No sound Improper connecon of automobile adapter. Use of un-authorized power supply. Power switch is on OFF posion (Blue light indi-
cates the monitor has power, you sll have to hit the power buon to turn it on).
No picture Check whether locking cable is properly connected.
No sound Check whether locking cable is properly connected, or the sound wolume is set too low
Dark picture Check whether brightness and contrast are adjusted correctly; Check whether the environments temperature is too low.
No color Adjust the color sengs.
Upside down or lateral
inverted picture Use the remote/ MENU-ROTATION buon to set proper orientaon
No reversing funcon
(i.e. Picture) Check the wires (black/ red/ Green) that may be loose
