Your battery powered motion sensor has 2 methods for mounting:
Surface Mount or Flush Mount. Determine which method is
appropriate for your application and prepare the sensor for
installation.
POWER & PAIRING
1. Open the compartment on the back of the Standalone Motion
Sensor (A) and insert the unwrapped battery (B)
(An LED indicator on the front face will blink rapidly for 2 seconds
after proper installation and may continue to flash as unit powers
and then may flash intermittently with motion.)
2. Using your smart phone/tablet and the Pinhole Tool (C), follow
the online Quick Start Guide instructions to pair the sensor to your
HALO Home account, set up and adjust the settings.
(TIP: Commission before installing for quicker set up.)
FLUSH MOUNT
1. Secure the Low Voltage Box (D) to an existing junction box
using the pre-installed panhead screws (H) (Fig. 1) or;
2. Insert the Low Voltage Box directly into the wall:
a. Place the back of the Low Voltage Box against the wall and
trace the outline (2.75” x 1.5”) (Fig. 2) then cut along the
traced opening (Fig. 3).
b. Partially insert the Low Voltage Box into the opening and
mark pre-installed panhead screw position. Predrill 3/16" pilot
holes and install provided anchors (G). Mount the Low
Voltage Box, securing the pre-installed panhead screws into
the anchors (Fig. 4).
3. Place the sensor into the box and attach a wall plate (not
included)
SURFACE MOUNT
1. Select the wall, ceiling or corner where you want to install the
sensor.
2. Attach the Surface Mount Bracket (E) to the selected surface
by using either:
a. the double-sided adhesive (F) or;
b. the anchors (G) and screws (I) (Predrill 3/16” pilot holes if
using anchors.) (Fig. 5)

MONTAGE ENCASTRÉ
1. Fixer la boîte électrique basse tension (D) à une boîte de
jonction existante à l’aide des vis à tête cylindrique bombées (H)
préinstallées (fig. 1); ou
2. Insérer la boîte électrique basse tension directement dans le mur :
a. Placer l’arrière de la boîte électrique basse tension contre le
mur et tracer le contour (2,75x 1,5 po) (fig. 2), puis couper le
long de l’ouverture tracée (fig. 3).
b. Insérer partiellement le boîtier électrique basse tension dans
l’ouverture et marquer la position de la vis à tête cylindrique
bombée préinstallée. Prépercer des avant-trous de 3/16 po
et installer les ancrages fournis (G). Monter le boîtier
électrique basse tension en fixant les vis à tête cylindrique
bombées préinstallées dans les ancrages (fig. 4).
3. Placer le capteur dans la boîte électrique et fixer une plaque
murale (non incluse)
MONTAGE EN SURFACE
1. Sélectionner le mur, le plafond ou le coin où vous souhaitez
installer le capteur.
2. Fixer le support de fixation en surface (E) à la surface
sélectionnée en utilisant soit :
a. l’adhésif à double face (F) ou
b. les ancrages (G) et les vis (I) (Prépercer des avant-trous de
3/16 po si vous utilisez des ancrages.) (Fig. 5)
El sensor de movimiento alimentado mediante batería tiene dos

ALIMENTACIÓN Y VINCULACIÓN

2. Inserte la caja de bajo voltaje directamente en la pared:
a. Coloque la parte posterior de dicha caja contra la pared
y trace el contorno (2,75 in x 1,5 in [6,99 cm x 3,81 cm]) (Fig. 2),
después corte la abertura marcada (Fig. 3).
b. Inserte parcialmente la caja de bajo voltaje en la
abertura y marque la posición del tornillo de cabeza
troncocónica preinstalado. Taladre previamente orificios piloto
de 3/16 in e instale los anclajes provistos (G). Monte la caja de
bajo voltaje, asegurando los tornillos de cabeza troncocónica
preinstalados en los anclajes (Fig. 4).
3. Ubique el sensor en la caja y coloque una placa para pared (no
incluida)
MONTAJE EN SUPERFICIE
1. Seleccione la pared, techo o esquina donde desea instalar el
sensor.
2. Fije el soporte de montaje en superficie (E) a la superficie
seleccionada mediante cualquiera de los siguientes dos
métodos:

ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REMOVE THE
DEVICE USING THE APP.
If removal doesn't work, delete it in the app by clicking "my device
is broken" and then follow the factory reset steps:
• Use the provided tool to press the wake-up button 4 times
within 2 seconds. (The LED will flash once with each button
press.)
• The LED will then flash rapidly for several seconds, slowly
for 20 seconds to indicate that it is ready to be paired and then
turn off.

• Le témoin DEL clignotera ensuite rapidement pendant
plusieurs secondes, lentement pendant 20 secondes pour
indiquer que le dispositif est prêt à être jumelé, puis il
s’éteindra.

OTRAS, CUALQUIER GARANTÍA DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN O
ADAPTACIÓN PARA UN OBJETIVO EN PARTICULAR.
Cooper Lighting Solutions garantiza a los clientes que,
durante un período de cinco años a partir de la fecha
de compra, los productos de Cooper Lighting Solutions
estarán libres de defectos en materiales y mano de obra.
La obligación de Cooper Lighting Solutions bajo esta
garantía queda expresamente limitada a la provisión de los
productos de repuesto. Esta garantía se extiende solo al
comprador original del producto. Un recibo del comprador
u otra prueba de la fecha de la compra original aceptable
para Cooper Lighting Solutions. Esto es necesario antes
de dar cuenta de un mal rendimiento bajo garantía. Esta
garantía no se aplica a los productos de Cooper Lighting
Solutions que se hayan modificado o reparado o que se
hayan sometido a negligencia, abuso, mal uso o accidentes
(incluidos los daños en el envío). Esta garantía no se aplica
a productos no fabricados por Cooper Lighting Solutions
que se hayan suministrado, instalado y/o utilizado en
conjunto con los productos de Cooper Lighting Solutions.
Esta garantía no cubre los daños al producto provocados
por el reemplazo de bombillas, corrosión o decoloración de
los componentes de bronce.
LIMITACIÓN DE RESPONSABILIDAD:
BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA Cooper Lighting
Solutions SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS ESPECIALES,
INDIRECTOS, INCIDENTALES O ACCIDENTALES
(INDEPENDIENTEMENTE DE LA FORMA DE ACCIÓN,YA
SEA EN CONTRATO, RESPONSABILIDAD ESTRICTA O
EXTRACONTRACTUAL, INCLUIDA LA NEGLIGENCIA), NI
POR LAS PÉRDIDAS DE GANANCIAS;TAMPOCO Cooper
Lighting Solutions SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR CUALQUIER
RECLAMO O DAÑO QUE SURJA EN RELACIÓN A ESTOS
TÉRMINOS O CON LA FABRICACIÓN, VENTA, ENTREGA,
USO, MANTENIMIENTO, REPARACIÓN O MODIFICACIÓN
DE LOS PRODUCTOS, NI CON EL SUMINISTRO DE
CUALQUIER PIEZA DE REPUESTO QUE EXCEDA EL PRECIO
DE COMPRA DEL PRODUCTO. NO SE ACEPTARÁN CARGOS
POR MANO DE OBRA PARA RETIRAR O INSTALAR LOS
ACCESORIOS.

incluya la siguiente información:
• Nombre, dirección y número de teléfono
• Fecha y lugar de la compra
• Catálogo y cantidad comprada
• Descripción detallada del problema
Todos los productos devueltos deben estar acompañados
por el Número de autorización de bienes devueltos
emitido por la compañía y debe pagarse el transporte por
anticipado. Cualquier producto recibido sin un Número
de autorización de bienes devueltos de la compañía será
rechazado. Cooper Lighting Solutions no es responsable
de los daños en la mercadería durante el transporte. Los
productos reparados o reemplazados quedan sujetos a
los términos de esta garantía y se inspeccionan cuando se
embalan. Los daños evidentes u ocultos ocurridos durante
el transporte deben informarse de inmediato a la empresa
transportista que realiza la entrega, y debe completarse un
reclamo. Las reproducciones de este documento sin previa
aprobación por escrito de Cooper Lighting Solutions están
estrictamente prohibidas.
Cambios o modificaciones no expresamente aprobados por
la parte responsable por conformidad puede invalidar la
autoridad del usuario para operar el equipo.
NOTA: EL FABRICANTE NO ES RESPONSABLE POR
CUALQUIER INTERFERENCIA DE RADIO O TV CAUSADO
POR MODIFICACIONES NO AUTORIZADAS HACIA EL
EQUIPO, DICHAS MODIFICACIONES PUEDE INVALIDAR LA
AUTORIDAD DEL USUARIO PARA OPERAR EL EQUIPO.
