BELOW “MIN” MARKS.

Remove the protective film from the soleplate before using.
You can use your steam iron with regular tap water. If you live in a hard water area, distilled or

held horizontally.
Close the lid again.
The iron can now be plugged into an appropriate power socket.

Sort your laundry according to textile and corresponding steam temperatures. It is recommended
to iron delicate fabrics requiring a low steam temperature first, as the steam iron heats up more
quickly than it cools.
The pilot light (C) indicates that the steam iron is heating to temperature. After the pilot light
switches off, the selected temperature has been reached and you can start ironing.
Functions
Water spray
To moisten fabrics, press the “water spray” (A) button.
Dry/Steam
The steam intensity can be adjusted by turning the steam regulating knob.
“min” = steam dry
= maximum steam outflow
Automatic electricity interruption for security
If the installed thermostat malfunctions, the power supply will automatically shut off, preventing
the iron from overheating. If this occurs, the iron must be repaired by a qualified electrician.
Maintenance/Cleaning/Care
Switch the steam iron off (Turn control (D)-position to minimum temperature; see mark on water
tank) and unplug. Place the steam iron upright and let it cool completely, then empty the water
tank.
Remove any residue from the soleplate with a vinegar-water solution. Rub the casing with a
moistened cloth and rub it dry.
Depending on the frequency of use, the iron should be cleaned monthly to increase its usable life.
- Fill the water tank half-full with water.
- Place the steam iron on the base to charge.
- Set the thermostat (D) to the “max” position and connect the steam iron base to the mains.
- Wait until the steam iron is completely hot (The pilot light will switch off).
- Remove the steam iron from the base.
- Hold the steam iron horizontally over a washbasin.
- Water and steam will run out of the iron.
- Residues like chalk deposits (if present), should be washed away by the draining water.
- Continue this process until the water tank is nearly empty.
- Set the steam function (B) to position “ ”, place it on the base and connect to the mains.
