Do not connect the lightbeam scanner until this manual instructs you to do so.

1. Lightbeam Hardware Assembly
a. Unpack the scanner
Please unpack the scanner carefully.
After unpacking the camera arm looks like this:
The lightbeam scanner looks like this:
Before you go on, make sure that the power supply of the scanner is
NOT connected.

b. Pass the cables through the camera arm
Put the green cable through the hole of the camera arm and then you can
put the usb cable through the same hole:

c. Add upper casing
Put the upper camera casing to the camera arm, insert the white plastic
screw through the arm and bring the arm to an upright position.

d. Connect USB-cable and power cable
Connect the usb cable to the usb plug of the camera arm. After that,
connect the green cable with the grey connector to the grey connector of
the camera arm.

Move the camera arm towards the machine, sliding into the clamp:

e. Insert the screws
Insert the enclosed screws into the holes on the outer side of the arm:
f. Tighten the screws
Please tighten the screws at the lower backside of the camera arm to fix the
position.
Make sure the cables on the backside of the camera are arm tight to
the arm and not hanging down.
g. Add lower casing
Now put the provided screw to the upper casing…

…and add the lower casing to the camera arm.
Make sure you don’t hit or squeeze any cables!
Now add the nut at the middle of the lower casing and tighten the screw.
After that, please follow the software installation guide before connecting
the scanner to the power supply.
