a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. Press the DOWNARROWrepeatedlyuntil“TollRestriction”appearsinthedisplay.
c. Press ENTER. Thedisplaywill read “EnterCode:”[allstationsotherthan #01]
d. Enterthe 4 digit toll restriction accesscodewhichwasset at Station#01. Youwill hear aconfirma-
tionbeepand the display will read “SetRestricted #”
e. Pressthe DOWNARROWrepeatedly,until“LineRestriction”appears in the display.
f. Press ENTER.
g. Press the soft key under CHANGEto select between NORMAL (factory setting) and RE-
STRICTED.
h. Press the soft key underDOWNARROWto see the current setting for Line 2, and repeat steps e
-gtochangethesettingsforLines 2-4.
i. Press MENUto exit.
Inaddition tosetting specificrestrictionsat aparticularphone, youmaycompletely restrictanyor allofthe
linesat aparticularstation. Thatstationwill notbeable tomakeany outgoing callsonthe restrictedlines,
withthe exception oftheallowednumbers at thatstationandcalls to “911”. However,thestation can still
receiveincomingcallsontheselines,takecalls offhold, andhavefulluseoftheintercom.
Theabilitytocompletelyrestrictlines isusefulinanoffice whereyou onlywantpeopletomake callson
certainlines at particular stations.Youmay also wishtoputone station in a publicarea,suchasa lobby, and
completelyrestrictall ormost ofits lines
2.8.2.3 Toset the allowed numbers at a particulartelephone:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. PressENTER.
c. Pressthe DOWNARROWrepeatedly until“TollRestriction” appears in the display.
d. PressENTER. The display willread“EnterCode:”
e. Enterthe4 digit toll restriction accesscodewhichwas set at Station#01.Youwill hear a confirma-
tionbeepand the display will read “SetRestricted #”
f. Press the soft key under NEXT. The display will read “SetAllowed#”
g. Press ENTER. The displaywillshow the currentlystoredAllowed#1,or indicate “1:”ifthere is
noAllowed#1 yet stored.
h. Press the soft key under CHANGE if you wish to storeanewAllowed#1
i. Dial desiredallowednumber, upto10 digits.
j. Pressthe soft key under SAVE.
k. Press the soft key under DOWNARROWand repeat steps g-j if you wish tostoreany additional
allowednumbersatthis phone.
Ifyou set restrictions ataparticularphone, you will probablywanttostore some allowed exceptions atthat
telephone. Forexample, if you restrictlong-distancecalls, you may want tostoresome allowed area
codes,suchas“1301”,or you may wish to store “1800”, to allow all “1800”calls,or“1*******”to allow
all“1+7 digit”calls. Youmayalsowantto store somespecificallowed numbers, forexampleother com-
panyoffices. (When you enter allowednumbers,“*” is a wildcardthatstandsfor any number from0-9.)
