TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT.

Alwaysfollowbasicsafetyprecautionswhenusingyourtelephoneequipmenttoreducetheriskoffire,

1. Readandunderstandallinstructionsinthe Owner’s InstructionManual.
2. Readallwarningsandfollowall instructions marked ontheproduct.
3. Unplugthisproductfromthewalloutletbeforecleaning.Useadampclothforcleaning.Do
notuseliquidoraerosolcleaners.
4. Donot use thetelephone nearwater. For example, do not use near a bathtub, wash bowl,
kitchensink,laundrytub, swimmingpool,orinawetbasement.
5. Donotplacethisproductonanunstablecartorstand.Theproductmayfallcausingserious
damagetotheproduct.
6. Useonly the typepower sourceindicated on the label. If you are not sure of the type power
supplytoyourhome,consultyourdealer or local powercompany.
7. Donotplace any objectsonthe telephone linecord. Do not locate the telephone where the line
cordwillbewalkedon.
8. Donotblockor cover ventilationslotsand openings in the bottom of the telephone. The
openingsshouldneverbeblockedbyplacingthe telephone on a bed,sofa,rug,orothersimilar
surfaces.Thetelephoneshouldneverbeplacednearoroveraradiatororheatregister.Thetele-
phoneshouldneverbeplacedinabuilt-ininstallationunlessproperventilationisprovided.
9. Neverspillliquid onthe telephone orpush objects ofany kind throughventilation slots.
Liquidorobjectsmaytouchdangerousvoltagepointsorshort out parts that could resultinariskof
fireorelectricalshock.
10. Donotdisassemblethisproduct.Openingorremovingcoversmayexposeyoutodangerous
voltagesorotherrisks.Incorrectreassemblycancauseelectricalshockwhentheproductissubse-
quentlyused.
11. Donot overloadoutletsand extension cords.Some telephones requireACpowerfrom an
outlet.Overloadingtheoutletscan result intheriskoffireor electric shock.
12. Avoidusinga telephone during a local thunderstorm.Theremaybearemoteriskofelectrical
shockfromlightning.
13. Useonlythepowercord and batteriesindicatedinthis manual. Do not dispose of batteries in
afire.Theymayexplode. Check withlocalcodesforpossiblespecial disposal instructions.
14. Do not use a telephone to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.

1.3 Installation
1.3.1 IdentifyYourExistingWiringSystem
Foryoutoproperlyconnectyour27404-LineTelephoneSystemtoanexistingwiringsystem,itis
importantthatyouunderstanditsconfiguration.Thefollowingarethemostcommonmultiplelinesituations.
Theyconsist of either one or both types of standardtelephonejacks:The RJ11 Single Line Jackandthe
RJ14Double LineJack.Yoursystemshouldmatch one ofthem.
1.3.2 PlanYourInstallation
Up to 16 27404-LineTelephoneSystem telephones maybe connected to form your office/homecon-
figuration.Each phonemustbe assignedadifferentstationnumber,from 01to16. Untilatelephone is
assignedastationnumber,thetelephone willnot operate.Toassignthistelephone astationnumber,simply
pressthe soft keyunderCHANGE repeatedly until thedesiredstation number isdisplayed.
NOTE:Each 2740 telephone mustbeconnectedtothe same Line 1 telephone number for proper opera-
tion.The remaininglinesmay ornotbe connected toeachstation.
1.3.3 StandardInstallation:
Your2740telephonescome factory-set for astandard installation,which is also called“square”intele-
phoneterminology.This meansthatLine1 is tobeconnectedto the same Line1telephone number at allthe
stations,Line2istobeconnectedtothesameLine2telephonenumberatallthestations,andsoonfor
Lines3 and4. This isthe desired setupfor most installations,and if thisis howyouwill beconnectingyour
2740,you do notneedtochange any of thelineconnection settings in thetelephones.Youneed only
connectthe phonestothetelephone lines.
1.3.4 InstallationswithPrivateLinesand Unconnected Lines:
Youmay wish to connect privatelinestoLines2,3or4atsome or all of your telephones.Aprivatelineisa
telephone number that is connected toonly one of the 27404-LineTelephoneSystem, and is notshared
withanyother station.
1.3.5 Desk Mount
1. Selectthe desired viewing angleandinstallthe desk stand. The desk standcanbeinstalled in two
positionstogive achoiceofviewingangle.
2. Connectthe power adapter to the jack on the bottom of thephone. Plug the large partof the adapter
intoa wall outlet which isnotcontrolledby a wall switch. Use only a9VDC500mA, center positive
Class 2 adapter.
3. Connectthe line cords. See Section 1.3.9.
4. Plug the coiled cord into the handset jack, and then plug the other endofthecordintothebase.
5. Place the handset on thebase.
1.3.6 Wall Mount
1. Removethe desk stand. Theunitwill then mountdirectlyon a standardwalltelephonejack.
2. Connect the power adapter and the line cords. See Steps 2 and 3 above.

3. Rotate thehandsethook intothewall mountposition.
4. Plug the coiled cord into the handset, and then plug the other end of the cord into the base.
5. Place the handset on thebase.
1.3.7 AssignaStationNumber
RefertoSection2.1 fordetailedinstructions onassigning astationnumber.
1. Make sure theACcordremainsattachedtothetelephoneandtoanelectricaloutlet
2. Turnthe telephoneover.
3. Remove the desk stand ifattached.
4. Remove the battery door by using the tipofaballpointpen,paperclip,orsimilar object to release
thebattery door tab.
5. Remove the oldbatteries.
6. Insert3 pieces of new sizeAAA1.5Valkaline batteries. Pleasenotethe“+”and“-” markings in
thebattery compartmentforthe orientation ofthebatteries.
7. Close the battery cover.
Usecaution when disposing of old batteries. Donotdisposeof them in a fire. They mayexplode.
1.3.8 InstallBatteries(Optional)
Whileit isnotnecessary foryouto installbatteriesin your 2740telephonefor ittofunction normally,wedo
recommendthat they beinstalled.Thebatteries are notneededtopreserve your memory dialnumbers,
becauseall memorydialnumbers arestoredin staticmemory.The purposeofhaving batteriesinstalledis so
thatthe telephone itselfcanfunction for up totwohours in the eventofa power failure. The telephoneuses
3AAAsizebatteries. Werecommend usingalkalinebatteries.

1.3.9 ConnectCords toTelephone
IfthewalljackislabeledLines1&2,connecttheshorttelephonelinecordtothejackonthetelephone
labeledL1/L2.Ifthe wall jack is labeled Lines 3 &4,connectthe short cord to the jack on the telephone
labeledL3/L4. Connect the long telephone linecordtotheother line jack on the telephone andthreadit
throughitslonggrooveonthebottomofthephone,thenplugtheACpower cord into the adapter jack on
thebottom of the telephone, threadingthepowercordthrough its long groove onthebottomofthe phone.
Threadthe short telephone cord throughthesquareholein the center of the wallmountbracket,and then
attachthe wall mount bracket to the base of the telephone.
1.3.10 Verify ProperInstallation
Thefollowing procedure shouldbeused at eachtelephoneto check forproperinstallation.Alsousethis
procedureany timeyouareexperiencing difficulty.The phone mustbeconnected to theACpowersupply,
line1 must be connected to theline1jack,and the phone must have been assignedanintercomstation
number.
First,verify that line 1 isconnectedtothesame telephone number at all thetelephones.Todothis, press the
line1 button at one of the telephones. The line 1LEDshouldbegreen,the speakerphone LED should be
red,and dial tone should be heardfrom the speaker.Now go to each ofthe other stations and make sure
thateach line 1 LED is red. Next,make sure that lines 2, 3and4 are connected the same atall the phones
byperformingthefollowingstepsateachtelephone:
1. Press the line 1 button. The line 1 LED should be green, the speakerphone LED should be red, and
dialtone should be heard from the speaker.
2. Dial thetelephonenumber forline2.The line2LED shouldflashslowly.Ifthe line2LED doesnot
flash,thenline2isimproperly connectedto thistelephone.
3. If this telephoneutilizesline 3and/orline4, repeatsteps1 and 2,substitutingthe respective phone
number(s)in step 2.
2. SYSTEMPROGRAMMING
2.1 StationNumberAssignment
Eachstationmustbe assigneda differentstationnumber.
Toassignanumber to astation:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. Press thesoftkeyunder ENTER. The displaywillshowthe currentlyassignedstation number.
c. Pressthesoft key under CHANGErepeatedly,untilthedesired station number isdisplayed. The
choices are Station #01 through Station #16.
d. PressMENU to exit.
Untilatelephone isassigned a stationnumber, the telephonewill not operate.To assign this tele-
phonea stationnumber,simply press thesoftkey under CHANGErepeatedlyuntil the desiredstation
numberisdisplayed.
Note:Onephoneinthe system must be set as Station #01 in order for all thesystemfeatures,
suchas shareddirectorydial, tofunction.

2.2 StationNameAssignment
Ifyou wish, you may give a name to each of your 2740 telephones, so that people can see the names along
withthestationnumbers whentheyplaceintercomcalls. Forexample,you might namestation #02“Mary”
andstation #05“ConferenceRoom.”
Toassignanumber to astation:
AtStation #01:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. PressENTER.
c. PresstheDownArrowrepeatedlyuntil the displayreads“StationNaming”
d. PressENTER. Thedisplaywillshow the currently stored name for station #01,orindicate“No
Name”if no name has yetbeengiventostation #01.
e. Presssoft Key under CHANGE ifyou wish to store a new name for station #01, orpressDOWN
ARROWrepeatedly until you seethestationnumberthat you want to name,andthenpress
CHANGE.
f. Usethe dialpad numberstoenterthenamefor the desired station.
g. Press the soft key under SAVE.
Repeatsteps a - g for any additional stations you wish to name.
Thetable below showswhichdialpad numbers topressforall the differentlettersand special characters.
Notethat you can pressthe 0, *, and # buttons if you want those characters, and you can press the down
arrowbuttonbelowthedisplayto leave an empty space. Press the DELETEbutton to make corrections.

2.3 LineConfiguration
Whileyou must sharethesame Line 1telephonenumberat all thestations,you may choose toleavesome
linesunconnected at particularstationsor to connectprivateorauxiliary lines toLines2, 3 or 4atparticular
stations.
2.3.1 COMMON
Thisisthefactory settingforall lines. Thissettingassumes thatthe lineisconnected tothesame telephone
numberatallstations.
2.3.2 PRIVATE
Usethis settingatany telephonethatis connected toadifferent telephonenumberthan thecorresponding
lineat theother stations.
Forexample, you mayconnectyourprivate telephone number toLine3at your station insteadofconnect-
ingyour station to thesharedLine3. In this example, youwouldsetLine 3 at yourstationasPRIVATE.
2.3.3 UNCONNECTED
Usethis settingat any telephonethat is notphysically connected toall of itslines. Forexample,you may
installa 2740 4-linetelephonein a room thatiscurrently wired foronlylines1, 2 and3.Inthis example, you
wouldsetLine4at this station as UNCONNECTED.
a. PressMENU. The display will read “PhoneSetting.”
b. PressENTER.
c. Pressthe DOWNARROWrepeatedlyuntilthedisplayreads”LineConnections.”
d. Press ENTER. The display will show the current line connection setting for Line 2.
e. Pressthesoft key underCHANGErepeatedly,untilthedesired lineconnectionsetting for Line2is
displayed. Thechoices are:
i. L2: COMMON(factorysetting)
ii. L2:PRIVATE
iii. L2:UNCONNECTED
f. Press the soft key under NEXT to see the current setting for Line 3, and repeat steps c, d, and e to
changethe settingsforLines 3-4.
g. Press MENUto exit.
2.4 Loop Voltage Detector
a. Press MENU.
b. Press DOWNARROWrepeatedlyuntil“AdvancedSetting”appears in the display.
c. Press ENTER.
d. Press DOWNARROWrepeatedly until “LoopDetect:”appearsinthe display, along with the
currentsetting
e. Pressthesoft key under CHANGErepeatedly untilthedesiredloop detect setting is displayed.
Thechoicesare:
i. Loop Detect:48V(factory setting)
ii. Loop Detect:24V(24volts)
iii. LoopDetect:12V
iv. Loop Detect: OFF
f. Press MENUto exit.

Your2740telephonewill light upitsline status indicatorswhena non-2740 telephonesuchas a faxma-
chine,modem,orstandard telephoneisusing aline.
Note:Iftheline status indicatorsof your2740telephonesdo notfunctionproperly,eitherfailing to lightup
whena standardtelephoneuses aline,or stayingliteven though notelephoneis usingaline, theloop
voltagedetector setting needs to be adjusted.
Thefactorysettingof 48voltsisappropriatefor mostinstallations.Ifthisis notsuitable,try setting
yourphoneto 24 volts. If that does not work,thenset it to 12 volts.Youcan also turnthisfeature OFF if
youprefer.
Ifa line indicatoratyour2740 telephone stays litbecausethere is no telephonelineconnected,
andyou wish to turn it off, do not use thisfeature,butsetthisline at this station to UNCONNECTED
2.5 RingerConfiguration
Theringersforeach outsidelineare controlledindividuallyat eachtelephone. Therearethree possible
settingsforeachlineringer:
RINGERON:Thelinewillringnormally.
DELAYEDRING:The linewillstart ringingafter thefirst20 seconds.Thisis usefulforanofficewherethe
phoneisnormallyanswered atacentral location.
RINGEROFF:Thelinewillnot ring.
Inallthese cases,the lineindicatorswillflashtosignalanincomingcall. Youcan alwaysanswer aringing
line,whetheror notitisringingaudiblyatyourtelephone,by pressingthecorrespondingflashinglinebutton.
2.5.1 Tochoosehoweach linewillring:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. PressENTER.
c. PresstheDownArrowrepeatedly until “RingerSettings”appearsinthe display.
d. Press ENTER. The displaywillshow the currentringersetting forLine1.
e. Pressthesoft key under CHANGErepeatedly,until thedesiredringersetting for Line 1isdis-
played. Thechoices are:
i. L1 Ringer:ON (factorysetting)
ii. L1Ringer:DELAY
iii. L1Ringer:OFF
f. Press the softkeyunder DOWNARROWto see the current ringer setting forLine 2. Repeat
stepsc- e to change the ringer settings for Lines2-4.
g. Press MENUto exit.
2.5.2 SettingDistinctiveRinging
Alllinesareinitiallysettoringwith RingSound #1.Ifyouprefer, youmay assigneachoutsidelineoneof
sevenotherdistinctiveringertones.Toassigndistinctiveringstooneormorelines:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. Press the DOWNARROWrepeatedly until ”Distinctive Ring” appears in the display.
c. Press ENTER. Thedisplaywill showthedistinctive ringsettingfor Line1.

d. Press thesoftkey under CHANGErepeatedly,untilthedesired distinctiveringsetting forLine1 is
displayed. Thereare eight choices.
e. Press the DOWNARROWto see the current setting for Line 2, and repeat steps c and d to
changethe settingsforLines 2-4.
f. Press MENUto exit.
Note:Atanytime when youhave a particulardistinctivering settingdisplayed,you maypressthe softkey
underCHANGEtohearan exampleofthatdistinctivering.
Thisfeatureis usuallyusedinoneoffourways:
1. Youmaywant to assignoneof your linesitsownring tone andleavethe other lines setatthe default
ring.Forexample,if line3 wereaprivatelineat yourtelephone,youmayassign itadistinctivering
soyoucouldeasilyrecognizecallsringingonyour privateline.
2. Youmay wanttoassign aparticularline thesame distinctiveringat allofthe stations.Forexample,
ifline3were thecustomerserviceline,you mayassignline 3the samedistinctivetone atallthe
telephonessoeverybodycaneasilytellwhenthislineisringing.
3. Youmaywantgiveall ofthe linesatyourtelephonethe samedistinctiveringsothat youcan easily
tellwhenyourparticularphoneisringingand differentiateitfromtheringing ofothernearbytele-
phones.
4. Youmaygiveallofyourlinesthe samedistinctiveringsimplybecauseyoupreferthatparticular
ringingtone.
2.5.3 SettingOff-HookRinging
Ifyou set a ringerONorDELAYED, andacallcomes in on thatlinewhileyou are having aconversation
onanother outsideline, a doublering will soundevery 15 secondsto alert youof theincomingcall. This
featureiscalled“off-hookringing”andcan beturnedoffifyouprefer.Todisableoff-hookringing
a. Press MENU.
b. Press thesoftkeyunder NEXTrepeatedlyuntil“OffHook Ring” appearsinthe display,alongwith
thecurrentsetting.
c. Pressthe soft key under CHANGEto change the setting.
d. PressMENU to exit.
Note: Ifa call comes inonan outside line while youareengaged in an intercom call,therewill not be off
hookringing.Howeverthelinelampswillflashnormallytoindicateanincomingcall.
2.6 IntercomCallResponse andPaging
Youmaysetyour telephone to respondtointercomcalls in one ofthreeways:
1. INTERCOMHANDSFREE:When someone makes an intercom call to you, your telephone
willringonce,thengiveatriplealert tonewhich letsyouknowthatyourphonehasautomatically
answeredthe intercom callonspeakerphone. Youmayrespondto the callsimplybyspeaking
towardsyour telephone.
2. INTERCOMRING:Whensomeonemakes an intercom calltoyou, your telephonewillring
repeatedlywiththeintercom ring.Youmayrespondto thecall byliftingthe handsetorpressing the
SPEAKERbutton.

3. INTERCOMVOICE:Whensomeonemakes anintercomcall toyou,your telephone willring
once,then give you analerttone,followed by the caller’svoice.Youmay respondtothecall by
liftingthehandsetorpressingtheSPEAKERbutton.
Note:When someone makesanintercom call toyouwhile you areonan outside line,youwillhear asingle
intercomringregardlessofyourintercomringersetting
2.6.1 Tochoose howyourphonewillrespondtointercomcalls:
a. PressMENU. The display will read Phone Setting
b. PressENTER.
c. PresstheDownArrowrepeatedlyuntilIntercomPrefsappears in the display.
d. Press ENTER. Thedisplaywill showthecurrentintercomsetting.
e. Pressthesoft key underCHANGErepeatedly, until thedesiredintercom settingisdisplayed.
f. Press MENUto exit.
2.6.2 To block pages at yourtelephone:
a. PressMENU. The display will read Phone Setting
b. PressENTER.
c. PresstheDownArrowrepeatedlyuntilIntercomPrefsappears in the display.
d. PressENTER.
e. PressDOWNARROWrepeatedly until Pages:Allowedappearsinthedisplay.
e. Pressthe soft key under CHANGE toselect between PagesALLOWED and Pages BLOCKED.
f. Press MENUto exit.
2.7 Automatic LineSelection
Thisfeatureallowsyoutochoose whichlinewillbeselected automaticallywhen youliftthehandsetor press
theSPEAKER button.Youmay chooseanyof the outsidelinesor the Intercomline.If your chosenlineis
in-use,thetelephone willautomaticallyselectthenextavailableline. Tochoosewhich linewillbeautomati-
callyselected:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”
b. Press the soft key underENTER.

TheTollRestrictionfeatureenablesyoutocontroloutgoingcallsandhelpsyoupreventunauthorizedlong
distancecalls. Thetollrestrictionaccesscodemustbesetatstation#01.Thiscodeisneededwhenyou
wishtochangeany tollrestrictionsettings orwhenyou wishtochange thetoll restrictionsettingat aparticu-
larphone.
2.8.1 To set the system’s toll restriction access code:
AtStation #01:

linesat aparticularstation. Thatstationwill notbeable tomakeany outgoing callsonthe restrictedlines,
withthe exception oftheallowednumbers at thatstationandcalls to “911”. However,thestation can still
receiveincomingcallsontheselines,takecalls offhold, andhavefulluseoftheintercom.
Theabilitytocompletelyrestrictlines isusefulinanoffice whereyou onlywantpeopletomake callson
certainlines at particular stations.Youmay also wishtoputone station in a publicarea,suchasa lobby, and
completelyrestrictall ormost ofits lines

Ifyou set restrictions ataparticularphone, you will probablywanttostore some allowed exceptions atthat
telephone. Forexample, if you restrictlong-distancecalls, you may want tostoresome allowed area
codes,suchas“1301”,or you may wish to store “1800”, to allow all “1800”calls,or“1*******”to allow
all“1+7 digit”calls. Youmayalsowantto store somespecificallowed numbers, forexampleother com-
panyoffices. (When you enter allowednumbers,“*” is a wildcardthatstandsfor any number from0-9.)

2.9 System Privacy
TheCall Privacy feature is set at Station #01. This setting governs the entire system. There are two pos-
siblesettings:
CALLPRIVACYON:Whenthisisset, no one can pick up their station and joinorlistentoyourconver-
sation. Thiscan be released bypressingtheCONFERENCEbutton. Thishelpspreventeavesdropping
andthedisturbance ofpeople accidentallyinterruptingyourtelephoneconversations. Thisistheinitial
factorysetting.
CALLPRIVACYOFF:Thissettingallowsotherstationstojoinexistingconversationssimplybygoingoff
hook. Thisisusefulfor peoplewho findthecallprivacyfeature unnecessaryor inconvenient.
2.9.1 ToChangethe PrivacySetting
AtStation #01:
a. PressMENU. Thedisplaywillread“PhoneSetting”

TheToneor Pulsedialingselection is made atStation#01for the entiresystem.Ifany of yourtelephone
lineshavePulseservice,youmustselectPulseDialing.IfallyourlineshaveToneService, leavethe setting
atToneDialing.

3. Memory Settings
3.1 Area Codes
HomeAreaCode:Youmay alsoenterareacodes into your 2740 telephone so that telephone numbers are
displayedproperly. Thisenablesyoutodial numbersinthecallerlist withoutpressingthe“#”button first.
Youmay enter oneHOMEareacode.Usethis feature if you only need to dialthesevendigitsofthe
telephonenumbers for calls inyourownareacode.Afteryouprogramyour home area code, thescreenwill
displayonlysevendigits whenyoureceive acallfrom withinthis areacode. Onlythose sevendigitswill be
dialedout.
LocalAreaCode:Youmay alsoenterupto six LOCALarea codes. Use this featureifthereare certain
areacodes that require you to dial theareacodeplusseven digits, but without the “1” infront.
1Plus7:Youmayenter up to six “1 PLUS 7” areacodes. Use this feature for that require youto dial a “1”
plusthe seven digits,butwithoutthe area code.

3.2 MemoryFeatures
Your2740telephonecanstoreup to 45 of your most oftendialednumbersinits memory. Five numbers
canbe stored into one-button Memory locations which are dialedbypressingamemorybutton. Forty
numberscan bestoredinto PersonalDirectorylocations,which aredialedby pressing”#” followedbythe
arrowbuttons.
3.2.1 Storinga hyphenintomemory
Youcanstore hyphens inyourmemory dialnumbersfor easy reading.Toinsert ahypheninto anumberyou
arestoring, pressPAGE. Each press ofPAGEwill insertahyphen.
3.2.2 Storingadialingpauseintomemory
Youcanstorea pause inamemory location forusewith certain bankingandlong distance services.You
mayalso need to insert a pausebetweentheaccess number and the telephone numberifyourtelephoneis
connectedto a PBX or Centrex system.To insert a dialing pause into a number you are storing, press
HOLD. Each press of HOLD willinserta1.5 second pause, represented by a “p” in the display.
3.2.3 Storingaflashintomemory
You can storea flash intoa memory locationfor usewithcertain customcallingservices, suchasCall
Waiting.Youmayalso need to insertaflashaspart of a feature activationcodeifyour telephone is con-
nectedtoaPBXorCentrexsystem.Toinsertaflash into a number you are storing, press FLASH. Each
pressofFLASHwillinsert a600millisecond (mSec)flash,represented byan“f” inthedisplay.
Note:If 600 mSecisnot an appropriate lengthforyour installation, youmayseta different value.

3.2.4 Storingtemporarytonedialingintomemory
Ifyour systemissetto pulsedialingmode,you canstoreatemporary switchtotonedialing inamemory
location.You may,for example,wishto dial anumberin pulsefollowedby anaccesscode in tonedialing.
To insert “switch totone”into a sequenceyouarestoring, press the *(TONE)button.Allthefollowing
numbersinthe sequencewill automaticallybe dialedin tonemode.
3.2.5 Storing oneofthe lastfivenumbers dialed intomemory
Tostore adialed number into memory, press REDIAL.Youmay then pressthe UPorDOWNkey to
scrollthrough thelastfivenumbers dialed. Pressthememory location keyorthe Directory key(#)and

Tostore acaller ID number into memory,press CALLS. You maythen press the UPor DOWN key to
scrollthrough the Caller ID list toselectaCallerID to save. Press the memory locationkeyortheDirectory
