SWITCHING ON AND OFF

ON/OFF BUTTON
SWITCHING ON THE COYOTE S
To switch on the device manually, press the on/off button. Your
COYOTE S switches on automatically when it is powered by its
USB socket.
SWITCHING OFF THE COYOTE S
If you want to switch off the COYOTE S manually, press the on/
off button. Your COYOTE switches off automatically after 5minutes
of inactivity.
BATTERY
Fully charge your COYOTE S before first use. The full battery life
is reached after several charging/discharging cycles.

LOCATION IN THE VEHICLE:
The COYOTE S must be put behind your inside mirror if your vehicle has an athermic wind-
screen (no GPS reception outside this zone). You should put your COYOTE S somewhere that
does not obstruct you while driving. The COYOTE S is not designed for outdoor use. It
should only be used inside the vehicle.
GSM TRANSMISSION:
The COYOTE S includes a GSM 3G radio transmission system. You should comply with the
same recommendations for use as for a mobile phone.
ROAD SAFETY:
Keep your full attention on driving your vehicle, avoid handling the COYOTE S while at the
wheel. The COYOTE S is a driving assistant that encourages compliance with the Highway
Code. However reliable they are, the speed limits shown by your COYOTE S do not replace
those duly signalled by the official road signs. COYOTE can therefore not be held responsible
for any offences committed by not respecting the road signs.
EXCESSIVE TEMPERATURE:
Avoid leaving your COYOTE S in a stationary vehicle in full sun. Use in temperatures above
50°C will make the screen go blank and considerably reduce the lifetime of the screen and
the battery.
BATTERY:
Your COYOTE S has a rechargeable battery. Keep away from fire - risk of explosion.
Warning: there is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect battery type.

points, along with their packaging.
WARRANTY:
The COYOTE S is guaranteed against any parts faults or manufacturing defects for 24 months
from the purchase date if the purchase was made directly from Coyote Systems Benelux. If
the device is opened up by a technician not authorised by COYOTE System, the warranty will
no longer be valid. The COYOTE S complies with the essential requirements and other appli-
cable conditions of Directive 1999/5/CE and 2014/53/UE. The product’s certificate of confor-
mity is available on the COYOTE website:

ALLUMAGE DU COYOTE S
Pour allumer votre produit manuellement, appuyez sur le
bouton marche/arrêt. Votre COYOTE S s’allume automatiquement
lorsqu’il est alimenté en courant par sa prise USB.
ARRÊT DU COYOTE S
Si vous souhaitez éteindre manuellement votre COYOTE S,
appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt. Votre COYOTE s’éteint
automatiquement après 5 minutes d’immobilité.
BATTERIE
Veuillez charger votre COYOTE S complètement avant la première
utilisation. La pleine autonomie de la batterie est obtenue
après plusieurs cycles de charge/décharge.

PRÉCAUTIONS D’EMPLOI/GARANTIE
EMPLACEMENT DANS LE VÉHICULE :
Vous devrez placer le boîtier COYOTE S impérativement derrière votre rétroviseur intérieur si
votre véhicule dispose d’un pare-brise athermique (pas de réception GPS hors de cette zone).
Vous devez placer le COYOTE S à un endroit qui ne gêne pas votre conduite. Le COYOTE S
n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation à l’extérieur. Il doit être utilisé à l’intérieur du véhicule
uniquement.
TRANSMISSION GSM :
Le COYOTE S intègre un système de transmission radio GSM 3G. Il convient de respecter les
mêmes recommandations d’utilisation que pour un téléphone mobile.
SÉCURITÉ ROUTIÈRE :
Afin de garder toute votre attention sur la conduite de votre véhicule, évitez de manipuler
le COYOTE S quand vous conduisez. Le COYOTE S n’incite pas au non-respect du Code de
la Route. Aussi fiables soient-elles, les limitations de vitesse indiquées par le COYOTE S ne
sauraient remplacer celles dûment signalées par les panneaux indicateurs qui, seuls, font foi.
Coyote ne peut donc être tenu responsable de toute infraction fondée sur le non-respect des
panneaux de signalisation.
TEMPÉRATURE EXCESSIVE :
Évitez de laisser le COYOTE S dans un véhicule à l’arrêt en plein soleil. Une utilisation par
une température supérieure à 50°C provoque une extinction de l’écran et réduit considéra-
blement la durée de vie de l’écran et de la batterie.
BATTERIE :
Le COYOTE S disposant d’une batterie rechargeable, il est strictement interdit de l’approcher
d’une flamme, sous peine d’explosion.
Attention, il y a un risque d’explosion si la batterie est remplacée par une batterie de type
incorrect. Déposez toujours vos produits électroniques et batteries usagés, ainsi que leurs
emballages, dans les points de collecte appropriés.
GARANTIE :
Le COYOTE S est garanti contre tout défaut de pièces ou de fabrication pendant 24 mois à
partir de la date d’achat, si l’achat a été effectué directement auprès de la société Coyote
Systems ou Coyote Systems Benelux. L’ouverture du boîtier par un technicien non habilité
par Coyote System annule la garantie. Le COYOTE S est conforme aux exigences essentielles
et autres conditions applicables des directives 1999/5/CE et 2014/53/UE.v Le certificat de

Om uw product manueel op te starten drukt u op de aan-/uitknop.
Uw COYOTE S start automatisch op wanneer hij stroom krijgt via
de USB-aansluiting.
DE COYOTE S UITSCHAKELEN
Wilt u uw COYOTE S manueel uitschakelen, druk dan op de aan-/
uitknop. Uw Coyote wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld na 5 minu-
ten immobiliteit.
BATTERIJ
Gelieve uw COYOTE S volledig op te laden voor het eerste gebruik.
De volledige autonomie van de batterij wordt verkregen na
meerdere laad/ontlaadcycli.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN BIJ HET GEBRUIK/GARANTIE
PLAATS IN HET VOERTUIG:
U moet het COYOTE S toestel verplicht achter uw achteruitkijkspiegel binnen plaatsen indien
uw voertuig beschikt over een athermische voorruit (geen GPS-ontvangst buiten deze zone).
U moet de COYOTE S zodanig plaatsen dat hij u niet hindert tijdens het rijden. De COYOTE
is niet ontworpen voor een gebruik buiten het voertuig. Hij kan enkel gebruikt worden binnen
het voertuig.
GSM-TRANSMISSIE:
De COYOTE S heeft een ingebouwd radio-GSM-3G-transmissiesysteem.Het is aangewezen om
dezelfde gebruiksaanbevelingen te volgen als voor een mobiele telefoon.
VERKEERSVEILIGHEID:
Om uw aandacht bij het rijden te kunnen houden bedient u de COYOTE S beter niet terwijl
u rijdt. De COYOTE S is een radar waarschuwingssysteem die niet aanzet tot het niet naleven
van het verkeersreglement. Hoe betrouwbaar ze ook zijn, de snelheidsbeperkingen die
vermeld worden door de COYOTE S kunnen in geen geval de weergegeven beperkingen op
de verkeersborden vervangen. Enkel de borden zijn van toepassing. Coyote System kan dus
niet aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor enige overtreding als gevolg van het niet naleven van
de verkeersborden.
TE HOGE TEMPERATUUR:
Laat de COYOTE S niet achter in een stilstaand voertuig in volle zon. Het gebruik ervan bij
een temperatuur hoger dan 50°C doet het scherm uitdoven en vermindert de levensduur van
het scherm en de batterij aanzienlijk.
BATTERIJ:
De COYOTE S beschikt over een oplaadbare batterij en dus is het streng verboden de Coyote
S dicht bij een vlam te brengen door risico op ontploffing.
Opgelet: er is explosiegevaar bij vervanging van de batterij door een
verkeerd type.
Breng uw oude elektronische producten en batterijen samen met de
verpakking naar geschikte inzamelpunten.
GARANTIE:
De COYOTE S is verzekerd tegen fouten in onderdelen of fabricagefouten gedurende 24
maanden vanaf de datum van aankoop indien de aankoop rechtstreeks gebeurde bij het
bedrijf Coyote Systems Benelux. Wordt het toestel geopend door een technieker die niet
erkend werd door Coyote Systems, dan annuleert dit de garantie. De COYOTE S is conform
met de essentiële vereisten en de andere geldende voorwaarden van de Richtlijn 1999/5/CE,
2014/53/UE. Het conformiteitsscertificaat van het product is beschikbaar op de website van

VERNIETIGING EN RECYCLAGE
Het logo hiernaast geeft aan dat noch het product noch het afgedankte
elektronische toebehoren ervan (lader, batterij enz.) samen met het
huishoudelijk afval weggegooid mogen worden.
Werp de uitrusting niet bij het huishoudelijk afval. Gebruik de beschikbare
teruggave- en inzamelsystemen in uw land voor een passende en veilige
vernietiging van dit product.
