2.1 Installaon Posion
NOTE: Its installaon shall conform to the following principles:
When it is installed on a flat ceiling, the alarm edge shall be at least
300mm away from any wall, as shown in Figure

Don’t install it at the following VOID LOCATION:
ΧHigh-humidity areas such as kitchen, water heater and bathroom;
ΧAir outlet of air condioner, fan and central heang; severe convecon
area of air speed;
ΧDusty, dirty place or place with insects;
ΧHigh-temperature and easily polluted place, such as cooker;
ΧPlace covered by things;
ΧWithin 1.5m away from lamps;
ΧThe top of pinnacled room, room corner and other dead-air spaces;

Opon 1: Easy mount -Drywall or Ceiling mounng
1、Choose a mounng locaon (wall or ceiling) ,using the mounng plate
provided as a template, mark two-hole locaons.and drill a 3/16” hole
through drywall.
2、Insert the provided screw through the mounng plate aligning the ribs on
the screw with the slots on the mounng plate.
3、Tighten the screw/mounng plate to wall or ceiling unl mounng plate
is very snug against surface.
4、Rotate the smoke alarm into the mounng plate.
5、Aer installaon is finished, press the test buon and test again. Test
method refer to the OPERATION AND TESTING chapter.
Opon 2: Convenient Mount – Using the double-sided scker

1、Choose a mounng locaon (wall or ceiling)，which is a Flat surface,
cleaning the mounng area by a dry rag.
2、Take the appendix double-sided scker, remove one side of the type
carrier and sck on the mounng bracket.
3、Paste the the mounng bracket on the choose mounng locaon,and
pressing the alarm and sustain several minutes, assure the scker be well fixed.
4、Rotate the smoke alarm into the mounng plate.
5、Acve the alarm and test as described in OPERATION AND TESTING chapter.
Operaon and Tesng
3.1 Acvaon: Press the TEST/HUSH buon near 10S ll the LED indicator light
up, and the sounder beep a chirp, the unit be acvated and goes into normal
operaon.
3.2 Tesng: Press the test buon, the unit will then emit a set of three slow

beeps. alarm sound will be heard;
3.3 Hush mode: Silence your smoke alarm by momentarily pressing the test
buon when non-emergency smoke causes nuisance alarms. The red light
flashes every 5 seconds to remind you that the smoke alarm has been silenced.
The alarm will automacally reset aer 10 minutes.
3.4 Deacvaon: when the alarms is on operaon status, press the TEST/HUSH
buon and hold over 10S ll the LED indicator flashed ,the sounder beeps twice
chirp,the alarm would be deacvaon and stop to work.
Note:
1、Baery is not replaceable
2、Recommended to test each smoke alarm weekly,to make sure that they are
all installed correctly and operang properly
3、Don’t test your alarm with open flame, which could damage the alarm or
ignite combusble materials and start a structure fire.

4、DO NOT Deacvate the alarm,otherwise you need disposal it or stopping
nuisance alarm which is caused by a failure of their funcon.
Care and Maintenance
This unit was designed to be as maintenance-free as possible, but there are a
few simple things you need do to keep it working properly.
• Test the device at least once a week.
• To ensure acve sensivity to smoke, clean the smoke detector surface with a
so brush or cloth each month.
• If you are not going to use your smoke detectors for a prolonged me, please
dismount them ,deacvate it and put them in a packing box.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Smoke alarm does not respond.
Please check whether the alarm is
acvaon
Red LED flashes and the alarm sounds

Baery is low. Please deacvate the alarm
and replace immediately!

Cauons
• Photoelectric smoke alarms can reduce the likelihood of disaster, but they
cannot guarantee 100% safety.
• To ensure you maximum security, please use them correctly. Install all smoke
alarms exactly according to this manual.
• Keep the alarms clean, do not allow dust to accumulate and test them at least
once per month.
• Replace them immediately if they are not working properly.
• Finally, always be aware of potenal hazards, develop safety consciousness
and take prevenve measures to avoid danger whenever and wherever
necessary.
