Checking the pedal exerciser and the product
contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a
sharp knife or other pointy objects, you may quickly damage
the pedal exerciser.
− For this reason, be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the pedal exerciser 1out of the packaging and check whether the
pedal exerciser or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case, do
not use the pedal exerciser. Contact the manufacturer at the service address
specified on the warranty card.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see fig.A and B).
Mounting the support feet
Follow these instructions step by step to avoid errors when setting up and using
the device. The pedal exerciser is pre-assembled so it can be put together in
only a few steps.
1. Take the pre-assembled pedal exerciser 1out of the packaging and place
it on a stable, level base.
2. Fit the small support foot 12 on the front holder (see fig. C)
3. Put one washer 10 on each of the cross-slotted screws 9 .
The washers should prevent the cross-slotted screws from coming loose due
to vibrations produced when using the pedal exerciser.
4. Use the enclosed hex key with cross-head screwdriver 8to screw the
small support foot tight with two cross-slotted screws (see fig. C)
5. Repeat the last two work steps for the large support foot 11 on the rear

1. Use a flat tool without sharp edges, e.g. a large flat-headed screwdriver
(see fig. D), to carefully lift the computer 6. Then carefully lift the computer
out of the frame.
2. Insert the battery with the correct polarity ( + and – ). Pay attention to the
specification on the battery and the battery compartment.

Workout

Who can workout?
Generally speaking, any person in good physical health, whether young or old,
can work out to improve their fitness.
Exertion
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Start your workout slowly.
− You should not start your workout too abruptly. Before
you start with the actual exercises, you should begin
by warming up at a slower pace and with less exertion.
Towards the end of your workout, continue to work out for
several minutes at a reduced speed and lower exertion.
Finish by performing some exercises to loosen up.
The body, particularly your heart and circulatory system, need time to adjust
to the changes brought about by the workout. It is therefore very important to
start your workout at low exertion and to gradually increase it. You must also
be sure to take proper breaks both during the workout and after it. Begin by
working out at a pace that is pleasant for you. After regular training, you can
increase the duration of your workout or configure the pedal exerciser to make
your workout more challenging.
Tips for an effective, healthy workout
• Wear suitable clothing (e.g. a track suit) for your workout. It is important
that your clothing is comfortable and breathable.
• Never work out on a full stomach.
• Do not work out if you are already tired or exhausted.
• Always keep in mind that your body needs plenty of liquids during athletic
activity. Be sure to drink enough.

Warm-up exercises
In general, you should always warm up before performing any athletic activity.
Warming up stimulates and improves all performance-related physical and
mental faculties. Warming up properly also significantly reduces the risk of
injury. The movement from performing the following exercises will warm up
your major muscle groups.
Run easily on the spot or around the room for about 5–10 minutes. Include a few
twist and hip jumps.
Stretching exercises
The following exercises contain light, but effective movements for activating
your body, gently stimulating your circulatory system and limbering up your
joints. Perform the stretching exercises several times before each workout and
only once you have finished the warm-up exercises.
Calves:
Lean against a wall with both hands. Bend your right leg to the front while
keeping your left leg straight. Push your left heel all the way down to the floor.
Hold this position for approx. 15–20 seconds. Repeat this exercise with your left
leg.
Thighs:
Stand with your face to the wall and your right or left leg facing forward. Bend
your hips and support your entire weight on your hands. Keep your legs
straight at the same time. Hold this position for approx. 15–20 seconds. Repeat
this exercise with your legs the other way around.
Thighs:
Lean against a wall with your right hand. Hold your left foot with your left hand
and slowly pull it towards your buttocks. Pull your foot towards your buttocks
and not to the side. Hold this position for approx. 15–20 seconds. Repeat this
exercise with your right foot.
Back:
Stand straight and place your right arm behind your head. With your left hand,
hold your right elbow and gently pull the elbow while bending your torso to the
left. Do not bend your hips in the process. Hold this position for approx. 15–20
seconds. Repeat this exercise with your left arm.

Back:
Lay down with your back on the floor. Cross your right leg over the left one and
slowly pull your knee towards the floor. At the same time, make sure that you do
not lift your shoulders off the floor. Hold this position for approx.
15 – 30 seconds. Repeat this exercise with your left leg.
Thighs⁄adductors:
Sit down on the floor. Hold both heels and push the soles of your feet together
so that they are touching. From your hips, bend forward while keeping your
back straight. Hold this position for approx. 15–30 seconds.
Back and shoulders:
Sit in an upright position on the floor with your legs crossed (crossed legged).
Fold your hands and stretch your arms over your head so that they are straight.
Keep your chin up at the same time. Hold this position for approx. 15–30 seconds.
Workout instructions
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Pay attention to any physical symptoms.
− Immediately stop your workout if you feel weak or dizzy.
Immediately consult your physician if you experience
nausea, pain in your chest or limbs, heart palpitations or
other symptoms.
Once you have warmed up, you can start performing the exercises.

Leg muscles
Make sure you have enough unobstructed room!
There should be at least 2 feet (0.60 m) of space around the

start your leg workout. You can turn the pedals forwards or backwards.
Arm muscles
Place the pedal exerciser 1in front of you on a table. Firmly wrap your hands
around the pedals 2. You can start working your arms. You can turn the ped-
als forwards or backwards.
