of long-d istance, high-throughput, and between point-to-m ulti-p oint performances.
VTrans technologies include TDMA, 10M/20M/40M/80MHz bandwidth, intelligent rate
c o ntro l, A uto A C K T ime -O ut Adjust and so on. TDMA technology solves the problems of

TB8H has the following advantages compared to the competitors:
1. Embedded VTrans technology
TB8H devices is embedded with VTrans technology, including TDMA,
10M/20M/40M/80MHz bandwidth, intelligent rate control, Auto AC K Time-out adjust. It
makes the device have longer transmission distance, higher throughput and better point-
to-multi-p o int performance.
2. Longer transmission distance, higher throughput
The longest transmission distance of TB8H can be as far as 5 km, and the max
throughput can be 866Mbps. It can satisfy the needs of most of the applications.
3. Embedded hardware watchdog
TB8H is embedded with hardware watchdog, which is used to monitor the working status
of the device. Once the system is not working properly, the TB8H device can be rebooted
to guarantee the stability of the system.
4. Software Ping watchdog function

or there is any problem, the device is rebooted. This is important because the devices can
b e re s to red to wo rk auto m atic a lly if the re is any problem, and avoid the extra human
labour to maintain the outdoor devices.
5. M o re N o n-standard channels availability
Currently most of the WIFI devices are working at standard 802.11 5.8G Hz and 2.4G Hz
frequency. However, standard 802.11 5.8G Hz and 2 .4 G H z o nly p ro vid e lim ite d c hanne ls,
and there is serious interference if there are a lot of 5.8G Hz and 2.4G Hz WIFI devices
nearby. TB8H support more channels near 5.8G Hz and 2.4G Hz band, and spread the
band to non-standard frequency part. The advantage of working at the non-standard band
is to avoid the interference in the standard channels, and the wireless throughput can be
improved.

4TDMA
Currently, most of the outdoor bridge products are developed based on 802.11 protocols,
ho we ve r, it has the lim itatio ns o f s ho rt-distance, hidden node problems, and poor point-to-
multi-po int performance.
VTrans technologies developed and patented by Creatc o m m C o . Ltd , u tilizing a s erie s o f
advanced technologies such as TDMA, 10M/20M/40M/80MHz bandwidth support,
inte llige nt rate c o ntro l, A uto A C K Tim e-out Adjust, having the advantage of long
transmission range, high date rate and robust transmission.
TDMA technology solves the problems of hidden-node problem in the 802.11 network
infra-structure. 10M/20M/40M/80MHz bandwidth can be flexibly configured by the uses in
d iffe re nt wo rking sc e nario to ac hieve the b e st link q uality. Intellig ent ra te c o ntro l alg o rithm
c an b e ad ap te d to q uic k c hanne l q u ality varia tio n s, w hile stab ilize the wire les s thro ug hp ut,
thus suitable for long-d is tanc e transm iss io n. A C K Tim e-out Auto Adjust can automatically
detect the distances of the TB8H devices, and adjust the wireless parameters to achieve
the b e st link q uality.
The TDMA setting is shown in the following Figure.
Figure 4-1 TDMA S ettings
To use the TDMA, the user needs to enable TDMA mode in the 5G AP device, and set a
p rio rity level in the station device. When several stations are connected to one AP, different
stations demand different throughput. If the station demands higher throughput, its priority
level can be set to High, otherwise set to Low. When the stations demand the same
throughput, their priority level can be set to the same level.
N ote: When using TDMA mode, the TDMA button need to be enabled at both AP and
s ta tio n d e vic e s in the we b -based configuration menu. The devices from other vendors
cannot be connected to TB8H in the TDMA mode.
