EA6 power supply assembly instructions.

Na wstępie przygotuj wszystkie niezbędne narzędzia. Do montażu niezbędne są: wkrętak HEX 2mm (dostarczony w
zestawie) oraz wkrętak Philips PH2. Przydatny będzie także miękki podkład pod urządzenie. W zestawie dołączone są
także nylonowe podkładki które będą niezbędne do osadzenia zasilacza na odpowiedniej wysokości.
First, prepare all the necessary tools. For assembly, you will need: a 2mm HEX screwdriver (supplied in the set) and a
Philips PH2 screwdriver. A soft pad under the device will also be useful. The set also includes nylon washers that will
be necessary to mount the power supply at the appropriate height.
Wykręć 7 wskazanych śrub na spodzie urządzenia.
Remove the 7 indicated screws on the bottom of
the device.
Następnie wykręć 5 wskazanych śrub z tyłu
urządzenia.
Then remove the 5 indicated screws from the back
of the device..
Aby otworzyć urządzenie najpierw przesuń o około
10-15mm w kierunku do przodu górną część
pokrywy.
To open the device, first slide the upper part of the
cover forwards by approximately 10-15mm.

Teraz możesz podnieść górną część obudowy
odchylając wyłącznie tylną część pokrywy
urządzenia „jak książkę”. Postępuj bardzo ostrożnie
gdy podnosisz pokrywę do góry uważając by nie
zerwać taśm i kabli –które łączą przedni panel w
płytą główną.
UWAGA –zalecamy zabezpieczyć górną część
pokrywy przed przewróceniem się !!!
Now you can lift the upper part of the housing by
tilting only the rear part of the device cover "like a
book". Be very careful when lifting the cover up,
being careful not to break the ribbons and cables
that connect the front panel to the motherboard.
ATTENTION - we recommend securing the upper
part of the cover against tipping over !!!
Odłącz wtyczkę z płyty głównej – wtyczka posiada
zamek który należy nacisnąć. Odkręć 6 wskazanych
śrub i wyciągnij fabryczny zasilacz.
Po wyciągnięciu zasilacza sprawdź czy żadne
elementy lub śruby nie zostały w obudowie.
Disconnect the plug from the motherboard - the
plug has a lock that must be pressed. Unscrew the
6 indicated screws and you can remove the factory
power supply.
After removing the power supply, check whether
any elements or screws are left in the housing.
Przygotuj zasilacz do montażu – zasilacz powinien
być zamontowany z użyciem dodatkowych
podkładek dostarczonych w zestawie. Aby ułatwić
montaż zalecamy założenie ich na śruby jeszcze
przed włożeniem zasilacza. Możesz użyć
kombinerek/szczypiec aby zagnieść lekko podkładki
–przez co po odwróceniu zasilacza będą trzymać
się na śrubach i nie spadną.
Prepare the power supply for installation - the
power supply should be mounted using additional
washers provided in the kit. To facilitate
installation, we recommend putting them on the
screws before inserting the power supply. You can
use pliers to slightly bend the washers - so that
when you turn the power supply over, they will
stay on the screws and will not fall off.

Włóż zasilacz do urządzenia – przykręć go 4
śrubami, a następnie podłącz 6-pinowy konektor
do zasilacza i płyty głównej.
Insert the power supply into the device - screw it in
with 4 screws, then connect the 6-pin connector
to the power supply and the motherboard.
Zamknij obudowę w odwrotnej kolejności, tj
najpierw domknij pokrywę zostawiając taką samą
szczelinę jak podczas otwierania, a następnie
dosuń ją do tyłu.
Close the housing in the reverse order, i.e. first
close the cover, leaving the same gap as when
opening it, and then slide it back.
Wkręć z powrotem wszystkie śruby: 5 w tylnym
panelu, oraz 7 śrub od dołu urządzenia.
Reinstall all screws: 5 on the back panel, and 7
screws on the bottom of the device.

Uwagi / Remarks.
Zasilacze liniowe produkują ciepło jako naturalny odpad podczas regulacji napięcia. Urządzeniu należy zapewnić
odpowiednią wentylację. Rdzeń transformatora posiada dodatkowe zabezpieczenie termiczne odłączające całkowicie
zasilanie z sieci AC po przekroczeniu bezpiecznej temperatury pracy. Podczas normalnego użytkowania urządzenia przy
zapewnieniu prawidłowej wentylacji temperatura obudowy urządzenia wynosi około 36 ᵒC (temp otoczenia 22 ᵒC).
Linear power supplies produce heat as a natural waste when regulating voltage. The adequate ventilation must also be
provided for device. The transformer core has additional thermal protection that completely disconnects the AC power
supply when the safe operating temperature is exceeded. During normal use of the device and ensuring proper
ventilation, the temperature of the device housing is approximately 36 ᵒC. (ambient temp 22 ᵒC).
Użycie dodatkowych dysków i napędów / Use of additional disks and drives.
Zalecamy używanie dysków SSD i napędów o zmniejszonym poborze energii. W przypadku gdy urządzenie ma
zamontowany więcej niż jeden dysk lub napęd, należy zmniejszyć podświetlenie wyświetlacza do poziomu poniżej 30% (i
pokrętła do 10%) –by uniknąć przeciążenia zasilacza oraz ograniczyć straty cieplne.
We recommend using solid state disks and drives with reduced power consumption. If the device has more than one
disk or drive installed, it require reducing the brightness of the display backlight to below 30% (and knob to 10%) - in
order to avoid psu overload and reduce thermal losses.
