Panel Description
Default IP Address of Control & Video RJ45 Ports
The ELAN EL-4K-VIP-ACM is shipped with the following default IP address for the Control Port (connected to your main network) and Video Port
(connected to your VIP system network):

After connecting to the main network, use the ELAN congurator to discover and set a static IP address. After which you can congure the system
right from the congurator or use the web interface at the now set IP address.
Default login details:
Username:ELAN
Password:3526
NOTE: The default IP address of the video port should not be changed as it is specically congured to work with ELAN VIP TX/RX products.

Quick Reference Guide
Introduction
The ELAN Premium Video over IP (VoIP) platform distributes HDMI video over a 1GB Network switch using visually lossless technology. The EL-4K-
VIP-ACM can be completely congured directly from the ELAN congurator, or the web interface can be used for conguration and independent
routing of IR, RS-232, USB / KVM, Audio, and Video. ELAN drivers built into each product’s rmware simplify product installation and negate the
need for an understanding of complex network infrastructures. The EL-4K-VIP-ACM Advanced Control Module is designed to work with the ELAN
Home System and also features third-party control using TCP / IP, RS-232 and IR.
1RS-232 control port – Connect to a third party control device for
control of the VIP system using RS-232.
2MCU rmware update switch - Used to place ACM product into
rmware update mode
3Reset - Short press resets the EL-4K-VIP-ACM, long press (10
seconds) factory defaults the EL-4K-VIP-ACM
4IO Level switch - Reserved for future use
5IO Level Phoenix - Reserved for future use.
6Video LAN (PoE) - Connect to the network switch that the ELAN
VIP components are connected to
7Control LAN port - Connect to existing network that a third party
control system resides on. The Control LAN port is used for TCP/
IP control of the VIP system. This port does not support PoE
8IR Control (IR input) – 3.5mm stereo jack. Connect to third party
control system if using IR as the chosen method of controlling
the Multicast system. When using the included 3.5mm stereo to
mono cable, ensure the cable direction is correct
9IR - Adjust IR voltage level between 5V or 12V input for IR Control
qPower LED indicator - Solid status light when the unit is receiving
power
wPower port – Use 12V 1A DC adaptor (sold separately) if not using
a PoE network switch
