This manual contains text, diagrams and explanations which will guide the reader in the correct instruction
and operation of the MAS-CABLE interface. It should be read and understood before attempting to install or
use the unit.
Further information can be found in the MILLENIUM Installation Manual NTR 735 and the Programming
Manual NTR 737.

1. Introduction
The MAS-CABLE is an RS232C interface connected between a MILLENIUM series controller and a personal
computer for a programming tool.
Note :
• MAS-CABLE interface cannot be used for any other applications.
• MAS-CABLE interface rises about 40 mm above the top panel when connecting to a MILLENIUM series
controller.

2. Connected to MAS-CABLE interface
Remove cover and memory cassette.
•Be careful not to injure the hand when you remove the cover with a tool.
Caution
•Persons trained in the local and national electrical standards must use the MAS-CABLE interface.
•Turn off the power supply when you install or detach the MAS-CABLE interface.
•Install the cover or the memory cassette after removing the MAS-CABLE interface.
•Please grip the protecteve connector shell when detaching the interface. Do not pull on the cord.
Have the case when remove the MAS-CABLE interface. This interface might break when the code
part of this interface is pulled when this interface is removed.
