This manual contains instructions for the setting up, use and maintenance of the
steering wheel. The manual consists of several sections, each of which deals with a
series of topics divided into chapters and paragraphs.
The general index lists all topics covered in the entire manual. Page numbering is
progressive and the page number is shown on each page. This manual is intended
for users who wish to install, configure, use and handle maintenance of Cube Controls
steering wheels for the duration of its technical life after its production and sale.
In case of sale to any third parties (sale, loan for use, or any other reason), all the
documentation must be handed over to the user along with the product.
Before performing any operation, it is compulsory to read the entire manual and have
fully understood the section related to the operations to be carried out.
Cube Controls Srl holds the property rights and copyrights on this user manual. It is
forbidden to hand over to third parties or reproduce this document, to use or disclose
its contents in any way to third parties without prior authorization to do so by the
manufacturer.

This manual, like all technical dossiers, will be held with care by the manufacturer for
the duration of the period prescribed by law (10 years).
During said period, a copy of the documentation accompanying the product may be
requested at the time of sale.
During this period, the entire technical dossier remains exclusively available to the
supervisory authorities, who may request a copy.
After this period, it will be the obligation and at the discretion of those who manage
the product to ensure the compliance with the laws in force of both the product and
its documentation, at that moment in time.

WARRANTY
The conditions of warranty, listed in full in the purchase contract, are only applicable if
the device is operated under the conditions of intended use.
Except for the ordinary or exceptional maintenance operations described in the
MAINTENANCE section and carried out with the indicated procedures all repairs or
modifications to the device performed by the user or an unauthorized party will void
the warranty.
The warranty shall not extend to damages caused by inexperience or negligence in
the use of the device, or by poor or omitted maintenance.
1The warranty is valid for a period of 12 months or 24 months depending on the type of buyer.
2The Manufacturer assumes the obligation to replace, at its own discretion, malfunctioning, faulty or incor-
rectly manufactured parts only after careful inspection of said parts.

The cost of transport and/or shipment is always covered by the manufacturer in the case of repairing or
replacement of the product. The cost of transport and/or shipment is always charged to the buyer in the case
of incorrect use of the warranty terms.

The warranty is not applicable in the event of damage resulting from excessive stress; such as due to
inappropriate operating methods, or use of the product after the detection of an anomaly, or failure to
comply with the instructions for use and maintenance.

product abroad due to the regulations in force in the country where the product was sold.

This chapter illustrates the general safety rules to be observed when performing any
operation on the device. The procedures described in the following chapters must be
performed respecting both the methods stated and the general safety rules of this
chapter.
The safety regulations and procedures of use and maintenance in this manual
should be followed in addition to general safety rules and any workplace safety
regulations which must be respected.
Safety standards may change according to the country. Therefore, it must be noted
that following the procedure in this manual is compulsory in accordance with local
legislation in each individual country. In countries where national safety standards do
not conform partially or in full with the standards of the country where the device is
used, national regulations shall prevail over those on the documentation.

Failure to comply with the procedures, warning and instruction of configuration,
use and maintenance of the device herein contained results in the forfeiture of the
warranty.

During the connection and subsequent use of the device, malfunctions that may not
be covered by the documentation may occur.
These situations can sometimes be due by environmental factors or accidental failures
and are considered to be totally unexpected and not predictable by the manufacturer

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Cube Controls steering wheels are reproductions of real steering wheels designed for
simulation use only. This product is made of coated aluminium, inclusive of all buttons
and controls. There are several models available and they are divided in categories:
Formula category and GT category.
Each category includes a selection of Classic and Wireless steering wheels.
Classic or USB steering wheels can be used through the USB cable provided
connected to the PC.
Wireless steering wheels are inclusive of a Wireless and Bluetooth transmitter that
allow to use the product without additional cables.

INTENDED USE
Cube Controls steering wheels are reproductions of racing wheels intended for use in
driving and game simulators.
UNINTENDED USE
The device was designed and manufactured exclusively for the use set forth in
paragraphs: GENERAL DESCRIPTION and INTENDED USE, therefore it is absolutely
forbidden any other type of application and use. In addition:
• It is strictly forbidden the use of the device with power supply system which are
inappropriate or non-compliant with the standards.
• It is strictly forbidden to use the device for improper uses, different from those set
forth by the manufacturer.
• It is forbidden any change or internal modification to product hardware or firmware.
The manufacturer declines all liability resulting from the reuse of any unit after its decommissioning.

Residual Risks
An in-depth risk analysis has been carried out on the device by the manufacturer,
resulting that some risks cannot be eliminated due to their nature. The user is hereby
informed that the potential residual risks described below do persist, despite all
technical and constructive measures implemented by the manufacturer to make
the device safe. Therefore, it is important that any user entrusted with the use and
maintenance of the device have read and fully understood the manual.
Notably
• It is strictly forbidden any change or internal modification of the device.
The manufacturer declines all liability for damages to persons, pets and/or things
caused by the use of a device which has been modified or altered improperly by
unauthorized personnel.
• Please preserve the manual with care as it is necessary for the correct and safe use
of the steering wheel.
• In case of damages or accidental impact of the device resulting in the presence of
sharp edges in the outward structure (aluminium frames and/or cladding), please
contact the authorized assistance service and follow their instructions.

• Avoid the use of water or other liquids on the electrical equipment and on the
device.
• Follow the operating instructions contained in the user manual.
• All maintenance operations shall be performed following the instructions in the
manual.
OPERATIONS WHICH MAY EXPOSE THE USER TO POTENTIAL RISKS:
While starting the device please respect all the general safety standards.
Notably: make sure all the electrical components are not under power before
performing any operation.
Although a number of solutions have been adopted by the manufacturer in order to
ensure the safe use of the device in all processes: transport, assembly, adjustment, use
and maintenance, some potential risks for the operator and the environment cannot
be eliminated and do persist due to technological reasons (i.e. reliability of the devices)
and management reasons. Therefore, the user is hereby informed of the potential
residual risks reported.

HANDLING
Before handling and use of the device, it is important to assess a number of factors.
Please check and ensure the following:
• The user must avoid exposure to solvents, acids and water within the area of use
and storage of the device. The user must also avoid direct exposure of the device to
weathering agents, rain, moisture and other items containing liquid such as vape,
cup and so forth. Only use the device indoors.
• Operating room temperature: 10°C to +40°C
• Storage room temperature: -30°C to +85°C
• Relative humidity conditions: MAX 80% non-condensing.
• Disconnect the USB cable from both sides if you will not use this product for long
periods of time.
TRANSPORT
The weight of the device is indicated in this manual and on the label attached on the
package. Due to its size and weight, it allows for manual handling by one single user.
Do not hold the device by the USB cable. This may irreversibly damage the steering
wheel.
INSTALLATION
The universal hub on the back of the wheel body allows the user to install various
adapter, or even connect it directly to your FFB base. Please refer to your adapter or
motor manufacturer to ensure compatibility with the steering wheel.
CONFIGURATION
Warning
All devices are fully assembled and tested by the manufacturer before the dispatch
and delivery of the product.

The product has been designed, manufactured and tested to meet all specific
standards (see Declaration of Conformity), if configured correctly.
If the configuration, use and/or maintenance of the device is not performed correctly,
this may cause malfunctions during use or safety problems. Improper configuration
and maintenance will void the warranty terms.
Checks and Operations Before Starting
Inspection for potential damage.
Check the integrity of each individual element and its components.
Notably, ensure that:
• the device shows no sign of significant damage, deformation or evidence of
impact during transport;
• the USB connection input is not damaged;
• the equipment and accessories provided in the package are not damaged.
The minimum illuminance levels (from natural and/or artificial light) required in the
area of configuration and use of the device are: 200 lux.

If any damage or defect is found, consult the manufacturer before proceeding with
any operation.
