Introduction
This guide contains all configuration barcodes needed to setup and customise the C190POS Scanner -
Dimensioner for Revenue Protection, Shipping and Master Data applications in US and Metric jurisdictions.
The Guide is divided into the following sections:

It does not include the symbology programming barcodes which are available separately in the
SE965 Parameter Programming Guide. A short description is included alongside each of the
barcodes in the guide.

Create custom shortcuts by encoding values
and format characters to suit the application.
For example, to create a shortcut to insert 3
values “1200, 100, 50” into 3 adjacent fields
in a speadsheet, create and print a Code 128
symbology barcode with the following data:
“1200<TAB>100<TAB>50

Bluetooth Settings
For pairing with host in keyboard
emulation mode (HID Connection).
Bluetooth LED has fast steady flash.
Bluetooth HID Mode
For pairing with host in serial mode
(SPP Connection).
Bluetooth LED has slow steady flash.
Bluetooth SPP Mode
For pairing with Cradle using scan to
pair barcode.
Bluetooth LED has 5 fast flashes with
a long pause.
Cradle Pairing Mode
For automatic connection to adjacent
serial slave device.

C190POS can be setup to send dimensions one at a time or in sets of three. These options are called
1DIM and 3DIM. 3DIM must be used with some shipping applications, and can be used anytime
as a user preference.
3DIM also allows configuration of the separator (‘X’ in the following 3DIM example string): 48X40X36
3DIM also enables use of the RESEND feature, which resends the last 3 dim set.

To Configure Reverse Tare Value:
1. Scan Set Reverse Tare Barcode
2. Scan Three Numeric Values
Set Reverse Tare
Reverse Tare (or Inside Measure) allows the user to measure from the back of the device not from the
zero point where the tape exits the housing. The function adds 112mm to the next measurement recorded.
This can be useful when measuring off the floor, or from inside a box or frame.

Speed settings can be used to adjust the intercharacter transmission delay in Bluetooth HID
to improve data quality.
