Bracket Installation
Installing the Hopper Switch Extension Bracket
1. Measure down from the top center of the hopper panel (4) and make a mark. (See Figure 1.)
Measure down:
a. 6" for a #300 hopper panel (1)
b. 12" for a #400 hopper panel (1)

2. Align the holes in the hopper extension bracket (2) on the mark and center the bracket horizontally
on the panel.
NOTE: The bracket (2) must face toward the bottom of the hopper (1).
3. Mark the hole locations and drill two 5/16" holes (3).

4. Remove the clamp bracket (5) from the top of the long mounting bracket (7) and keep the hardware.
(See Figure 2.)
NOTE: The top clamp bracket (5) will no longer be used.

5. Remove the U-shaped adjustment guide (6) from the back of the long mounting bracket (7) with the
slots and keep the hardware. (See Figure 3.)

6. Flip the long mounting bracket (7) with the slots over and align the bottom edge flush with the bottom
edge of the hopper level control (8). (See Figure 4.)
7. Fasten the long mounting bracket (7) to the hopper level control sensor (8) using the washers (9)
and wing nuts (10). (See Figure 4.)

8. Mount the top of the long mounting bracket (7) to the bottom lip of the hopper extension bracket (2)
using the washers (9) and wing nuts (10). (See Figure 5.)

9. Install the hopper switch extension bracket assembly (11) to the hopper panel (4) using the supplied
1/4" bolts, 1/4" washers and 1/4" nuts (12). (See Figure 6.)

10. Continue installing the hopper panels (4) together to complete the hopper assembly.
