Instructions Manual
To follow this guideline, you may need the following accessories:
●Outdoor waterproof enclosure with ABS plate
●Ethernet connector
●PoE splitter
● 30cm coaxial cable (water seal)
○For stock antenna
○For outdoor antenna
● Self-tapping screw (11mm length)
● Thin cable tie (1.5mm width)
● Drill with a step drill bit (minimum 20mm step bit)

Procedure:
1. Firstly, remove all the footer of the hotspot to ensure that the hotspot can fit nicely in the
outdoor enclosure.
2. Using the cable tie, mount the hotspot and PoE splitter onto the ABS plate. You can
arrange any position that you like but we recommend following our setup position.
●Note: Please use a thin cable tie (1.5mm width) so that it can go through the plate holes.
3. Put aside the plate. Now, we have to drill two holes on the enclosure for the ethernet
connector and coaxial cable to extend the antenna. For ethernet connector hole, drill
until it reaches 20mm step and for coaxial cable hole only 6mm.

●Note: This is important! Make sure that you do some measurements to drill the
ethernet connector hole. This is because you need to save some space at the top and
bottom for the nut to roll in and at the same time the hole should not reach the height of
the enclosure.
4. Put the ABS plate inside the enclosure. Mount it with the self-tapping screw at each side
of the plate.

5. Insert the ethernet connector through the hole and tighten it with the given nut. Then,
connect the RJ45 connector to the input of the PoE splitter.
6. Insert the coaxial cable through the hole and tighten it with the given nut. Then, you can
connect the stock antenna at the top of the enclosure.
●Note: You need to bend the antenna and make sure the antenna pointing upwards (to
the sky) since the signal will travel in an omnidirectional pattern.

7. For the PoE splitter, connect the type-C cable to the hotspot for the power supply and
the ethernet cable to the ethernet port. Lastly, connect the coaxial cable to the antenna
port of the hotspot.
8. Insert the waterproof line around the lid for IP65 protection. You can cut the excess of
the waterproof line but please make sure it fully covers the lid.

9. Close the enclosure with the lid and mount it with the given screws. Then, you are good
to go!
●Note: Please be reminded that even if you are using an outdoor enclosure, the stock
antenna is for indoor use only. You can still apply this setup outside the building but it
must be covered from the rain.
