Web-based Configuration Utility Requirements
Computer or Mobile Device with the following:
• A Windows®, Macintosh (macOS), Android, or Linux-based system
• Wireless adapter or Wi-Fi functionality
Browser Requirements:
• Internet Explorer 7 or later
• Firefox 12.0 or later
• Safari 4 or later
• Google Chrome 20.0 or later
LED Indicator DCS-2132L-ES
This indicates the current status of the DAP-2132L-ES, as detailed in the table below.
Red Solid:
• Power on process
• During FW upgrade
Green:
• Blinking - During connection process
• Solid - Successfully connected to the
network
Off: The device is power off
Important Notes
• We recommend using this product with the embedded web application or third-party apps.
This product CANNOT use with Sage by Hughes since it was discontinued by EchoStar;
setup wizard and mydlink account provided by D-Link are NOT supported by this product
• Latency may be observed depends on the bandwidth of your wireless network
• Minimize the number of walls and ceilings between your router and the camera

Initial Setup
1. Connect the included Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port located on the back of
the DCS-2132L and connect it to your router
2. Attach the external power supply to the DC Power receptor located on the rear
panel of the DCS-2132L and connect it to your wall outlet or power strip
3. The DCS-2132L will automatically create a connection to your router. While
connecting, the status LED will flash. When the connection process is complete,
the status LED will turn solid
Optional: WPS Wireless Connection
Alternatively, if your router supports WPS, you can use the WPS button on the camera to easily
create a secure wireless connection to your network. If not: you can still use the wired
connection method mentioned in the previous section.
1. Press and hold the WPS button on the back of the camera for approximately 5-6
seconds. The blue WPS status LED above the button will blink

2. Within 60 seconds press the WPS button on your router. On some routers, you
may need to log in to the web interface and click on an on-screen button to activate
the WPS feature. If you are not sure where the WPS button is on your router,
please consult with your network provider
3. Once the WPS function is enabled on your router, the DCS-2132L will
automatically create a wireless connection to your router. While connecting, the
status LED will flash. When the connection process is complete, the status LED
will turn solid green
How to Access Video Stream
Upon successful setup, you can access live video stream by following the instructions below:
4. Connect your computer or mobile device to the wireless network that DCS-
2132L-ES is configured, and find out the IP address of DCS-2132L-ES (You may
need to consult with your network provider regarding this)
5. Open a web browser and enter `https://<IP_of_the_Camera>`, ignore the
warning message and proceed to the webpage

6. By default, Admin is the username and leave the password box empty
7. Then you can access the live video stream by using the embedded app
Troubleshooting
Why can’t I access the embedded web app?
Unplug the DCS-2132L-ES from the power outlet for at least 10 seconds and plug it back in.
Wait about 30 seconds and try accessing the embedded app again. If you have multiple
computers, try connecting using a different computer.
How to reset DCS-2132L-ES?
Locate the reset button (hole) on the backside of the unit. With the camera powered on, use a
paperclip to hold the button down for 10 seconds. Release the button and the camera will go
through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the camera.
