1-1. LX9max Introduction
Thanks for purchasing LX9max.
This product is an Intermittent Pneumatic Compression system to temporarily relieve minor
muscle aches and pains and for temporary increase in circulation to the treated areas in
people who are in good health.
The operating principle is that the air from the device will be delivered to the sleeve with 4 air
chambers and the air pressurizes sequentially the chambers from 1st to 4th.
This user’s manual contains the information how to use, keep and repair this product. Please,
be well informed of this manual to use this product correctly and to prevent the malfunction
for the best effect. Please keep this manual with this system always and please carefully read
it before using the system properly.

2-1. Caution for electric safety
- When this product is not in use, disconnect the power cord.
- When thunder and lightning cause a sudden blackout, turn off this product
and disconnect the power plug.
(There is a risk of product failure or electric shock.)
- Accurately connect the power cord so that it is rigidly plugged in.
(When the power cord is not stably connected, there is a risk of malfunction
and fire.)
- Make sure to untie the power cord prior to use.
(There is a risk of heat generation and fire.)
- When you move this product, use the handle instead of pulling the power cord
line.
(When the power cord is damaged, there is a risk of fire and electric shock.)
- When the cord is damaged or this product is dropped and damaged, do not
operate this product.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, use the power supply with protective
grounding.
(There is a risk of fire and electric shock.)
- Do not use the device in high humidity places such as sauna, bathroom.
(This result in mechanical defect or physical damage caused by an electric
shock or scald.)
- To avoid causing electric shock, use this product by connecting it with a main
power supply unit with a protective ground.

- Do not use a damaged power cord/plug or a loose socket.
(When the connection is unstable, there is a risk of fire and electric shock which
may cause injury.)
- When you connect or disconnect the power cord to or from the socket, make
sure to grab the plug instead of the line.

- Do not use wet hands or other wet body parts to touch this product, the
power cord, plug and socket.
(There is a risk of electric shock which may cause injury.)
- Do not damage, bend, twist, or heat up the power cord.
(When the cord is damaged, there is a risk of fire and electric shock.)
- When you smell something abnormal while this product is in use, immediately
stop using this product. In this case, immediately turn off the power switch,
disconnect the power cord from the socket, and contact the manufacturer or the
seller.
- Do not disassemble or remodel this product at your own discretion
for repair. This product can only be disassembled and repaired by the
approved personnel.

there is a risk of malfunction and injury.)

2-2. Cautions prior to use
- Check whether or not this device is damaged and whether or not this device
functions properly at least once per year.
(When this device is used without conducting maintenance, there is a risk
of malfunction and injury.)
- Do not use this product for any purposes other than the intended use.
- When this product is not used for a long time, clean this product and
check whether or not this product functions properly prior to use.
- Do not install this product in an environment exposed to heating devices and
direct light.
(There is a risk of deformation and failure which may cause malfunction.
- Prior to use, check the status of this product as well as the status of the
accessories.
(When this product or the exterior of the accessories is/are damaged, contact
the seller or the service center. When you intend to use the damaged product
and accessories, there is a risk of electric shock or current leakage which
may cause fire.)
(When this product or the accessories is/are damaged, there is a risk of
malfunction, failure and fire which may cause injury.)
- Do not install this product on a desk or a table to which vibration or impact is
frequently applied.
(There is a risk of fall caused by vibration or impact which may cause failure
and injury.)
- Make sure to install this product in a place where the power plug can be
connected and disconnected without any interfering obstacles and where
the power plug can be removed without any interfering obstacles.
- Use the product after installing device at flat and safe place.
(When it is placed on place with its base slanted or shaking, then there is
danger of noise, falling, malfunction or trouble etc.)
- This appliance can be used by children and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

- Do not cover the power cord with a carpet or other objects.
(As you walk, your feet may be caught in the power cord, making this product
fall.)
(There is a risk of fall which may cause failure and injury.)
- Take caution to prevent flow of water or foreign matter into the device.
(When foreign matter enters the device then it may cause trouble or electric
shock.)
- The accessories and parts to be used in product must be of those provided or
approved by DAESUNG MAREF.
(When any accessories and parts not approved by DAESUNG MAREF are
used, there is a risk of malfunction which may not guarantee user safety.)
2-3. Cautions during use
- Do not apply extreme impact by dropping this product.
- When moving this product, make sure to turn off this product prior to moving it.
(While this product is in operation, do not move this product.)
- Do not operate this product while the tubing is facing your eyes, nose and lips.
(The air released from the tubing may cause injury.)
- A beginner would be better to use the device with 20mmHg for 10 minutes at
the first time, and then increase the pressure intensity gradually according to
the physical condition.
- Use this product where the temperature is above 0℃and below 40℃.
- When drunken, don't use it until drunkenness is in completely worn off.
(When used after drinking, injury to body may occur due to wrong use of
the device.)

2-4. Cautions after use
- When disconnecting the power cord from the device, disconnect the power
cord from the socket prior to removing it from this product.
- Prior to cleaning this product, disconnect the power cord from the socket and
then disconnect the power cord from this product.
(When you get caught in the power cord line as you move this product, there is
a risk of fall injury, damage and electric shock.)
- Make sure that no liquid is inserted into the air socket on the this product.
(When any liquid is inserted, the influenced internal parts may cause
malfunction, electric shock and fire.)
- Do not directly apply the liquid detergent to this product or use benzene,
thinner, or alcohol to clean this product. Make sure to apply the liquid detergent
to a cloth to be used for cleaning this product.
(There is a risk of discoloration, damage, electric shock and fire.)
- When this product is damaged, immediately submit a request for repair to the
supplier or the customer center.
- Store this product and the accessories in a dry place free from water and
moisture.
(Moisture and liquid ingredients may damage the parts and circuits of this
product.)
- Do not store this product in a dirty place full of dust.
(Dust and foreign materials may result in failure, fire, or electric shock which
may cause injury.)
- Do not store this product in an inclined place.
(When you drop this product, there is a risk of damage which may cause failure.)
- The adequate temperature range for storing this product is from -20℃to 60℃.
Make sure that the temperature is within that range while this product is stored.
- Store this product in a place that cannot be reached by children.
- Do not store this product in a place exposed to heating devices and direct light.
(There is a risk of failure, deformation and fire.)
- Do not play any objects on this product.
(When this product is operated or moved while any liquid container(vase, water
bottle, cup, cosmetic product and chemical), volatile substance, chemical, or
sharp object(scissor and knife) is placed on this product, there is a risk of fall
which may cause fire and injury.)
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.

2-5. Sleeve use and storage related caution
- Be sure to check condition of sleeve regularly
- Do not keep the sleeve under the direct sunlight or in the place of high
temperature.
- Store the sleeve is a clean place and do not store this product in an
environment where the temperature is low during the winter seasons.
- When the sleeve is stored in an environment where the humidity is high, there is
a risk of mold growth.
- Do not place the sleeve near heat sources (heater, cigarette) and sharp
objects. (needle, scissors).
- When any foreign substance is attached to the sleeve, use a dry cloth or tissue
to remove the foreign substance.
- Store the sleeve and tubing in a way that they are not excessively bent or
pressed by heavy objects.
- Use the sleeves with wearing thin cloths.
(It can cause an allergy to a person with sensitive skin.)
- At the time when opening and closing zipper on sleeve, watch sticking of body
hair or socks etc.
- When this sleeve is not used for a long time, clean this product and check
whether or not this product functions properly prior to use.
- Store this sleeve in a place that cannot be reached by children.
- The sleeve is intended to be connected with the product manufactured
by DAESUNG MAREF only. Do not connect the sleeve with other products
manufactured by other companies.
- Prior to wearing the sleeve, remove all accessories from the part of your
body where the sleeve will be worn.
(When accessories are worn, there is a risk that the sleeve may be damaged
or that the part of your body where the sleeve is worn may be injured.)
(Leg : belongings within trouser pockets, ankle bracelet, etc.)
(Waist : waist belt, belongings within trouser pockets, key chain, mobile
phone, etc.)
(Arm : watch, bracelet, ring, etc.)
- Do not blow air into the sleeve when you do not wear the sleeve.
(This may cause damages to the sleeve.)
- Do not use a safety pin on the sleeve to fix the tubing.
(The sleeve may be torn by the sharp part of a safety pin.)

- If any foreign materials get on the device, first turn off the device and use a soft cloth to
wipe the device with a bit of water or a neutral detergent.
(It may cause discoloration, damage or malfunction.)
- If you sanitize product, first turn off the device and wipe off with soft cotton using neutral
detergent.
(It may cause discoloration, damage or malfunction.)
- Be careful not to let liquid in the air socket in front of the product or the ac inlet at the back.
Liquid inflow may affect the inner parts and cause malfunction, electric shock or fire.
- Do not wipe the device with benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc or spray water directly on the
device.
(It may cause discoloration, damage, electric shock or fire.)
2-6. How to clean
2-6-1. How to clean the device
Use neutral detergent or the alkalescence for cleaning.
Dilute in water if it is Alkali undiluted state.
Be careful the detergent not to enter into the skin or eyes.

- If any foreign material gets on the tubing, use a soft cloth to wipe the tubing with a bit of
water or a neutral detergent.
- Be careful of any liquid doesn’t go into the tubing.
(It may cause the durability of the tubing if water is inside of the tubing, it could also break
and cause a fire if and when water goes into the device from the tubing.)
- Do not spray water directly on the tubing or put the tubing into the water.
- Do not wipe the device with benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc.
2-6-2. How to clean the tubing
- If any foreign material on the sleeve, use dried cloth or tissue to wipe the sleeve.
- Use little bit of neutral detergent or water on a soft cloth and completely dry the sleeve.
(It may cause decline the durability or modify when the sleeve is wet.)

2-8. WEEE
This symbol indicating separate collection for EEE is based on
DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU.
The purpose of this Directive is to contribute to sustainable
production and consumption by, as a first priority, the prevention
of WEEE and, in addition, by the re-use, recycling and other
forms of recovery of such wastes so as to reduce the disposal of
waste and to contribute to the efficient use of resources and the
retrieval of valuable secondary raw materials.
This Directive cover all EEE used by consumers and EEE
internded for professional use.
Consumers have to actively contribute to the success of such collection and should be
encouraged to return WEEE.
The Producer have to provide the information of re-usable, recyclable and recoverable
rate. 75% shall be recovered, and 55% shall be prepared for re-use and recycled within
category 5 (Small equipment) in DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU ANNEX III.
LX9max is a recoverability rate of 79.30% and a recyclability rate of 73.51%.
Information for treatment facilities shall be made available to centres which prepare for
re-use and treatment and recycling facilities by producers of EEE.
DAESUNG MAREF, whenever, is prepared to provide.

- When a sleeve is small to use, it is recommended to use a proper extension zipper to each sleeve.
- Open a zipper of the sleeve to the end then connect extension zipper.
The width of sleeve is extended to around 10cm by connecting extension zipper.
