ADVERTENCIAS
SOBRE LA INSTALACIÓN
• No utilice la unidad en lugares extremadamente cálidos, fríos, polvorientos o
húmedos.
• Coloque la unidad sobre una supercie plana y nivelada.
• No restrinja el ujo de aire de la unidad al colocarla en lugares con poca ventilación,
cubrirla con una tela o dejarla sobre una alfombra.
SOBRE LA CONDENSACIÓN
• Si se deja en una estancia con un ambiente cálido y húmedo, se pueden formar
gotas de agua o condensación dentro de la unidad.
• Si hay condensación en el interior de la unidad, ésta podría dejar de funcionar con
normalidad.
• Deje reposar la unidad durante 1 o 2 horas antes de encenderla o caliente la
estancia gradualmente y seque la unidad antes de utilizarla.
Si surge algún problema, desenchufe la fuente de alimentación y contacte con
personal técnico cualicado.

Este símbolo en el producto, en la batería o en el embalaje indica que
el producto y la batería no deben tratarse como residuo doméstico. En
algunas baterías este símbolo se utiliza junto con un símbolo químico.
Se añaden los símbolos químicos del mercurio (Hg) o del plomo (Pb)
cuando la batería contiene más de un 0,0005% de mercurio o un 0,004
% de plomo.
Al garantizar la eliminación correcta de estos productos y baterías, ayudará a evitar
posibles consecuencias negativas para el medio ambiente y la salud humana que
podrían derivarse de una manipulación inadecuada de los mismos. El reciclado de los
materiales contribuirá a conservar los recursos naturales. En caso de productos que, por

Para todas las demás baterías, consulte la sección sobre cómo extraer la batería del
producto de un modo seguro. Lleve la batería al punto de recogida correspondiente
para su reciclaje.
La validez del marcado CE se limita a aquellos países donde es obligatoria
por ley, principalmente en los países del Espacio Económico Europeo
(EEE).
Las pruebas realizadas con este equipo ponen de maniesto su adecuación
a los límites estipulados en la Directiva CEM cuando el cable de conexión
tiene menos de 3 metros.

FUENTE DE ALIMENTACIÓN (SOLO ADAPTADOR DE CA)
El DCR-300 funciona con un adaptador externo de CA-CC con una salida de CC 5V1A
.
La unidad también incluye un sistema de batería de reserva para el reloj que funciona
con dos baterías tipo AAA (no incluidas).
CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
1. Conecte el cable del adaptador al conector DC IN (#7) del DCR-300.
2. Conecte el enchufe del adaptador a una toma de corriente mural.
El DCR-300 estará encendido y en modo de espera cuando vea que la pantalla está
iluminada.

Sistema de batería de reserva
• La radio está equipada con un sistema de batería de reserva. Necesita dos baterías
tipo AAA (no incluidas).
• Abra el compartimento de las baterías. Inserte las baterías en el compartimento y
asegúrese de que los polos positivo y negativo (+ y -) de las baterías estén en contacto
con los terminales correspondientes del compartimento. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de
las baterías.
• En caso de corte en el suministro eléctrico,la radio cambiará automáticamente a la
alimentación con baterías y conservará los ajustes del reloj y del temporizador.
• Cuando cambie la batería, no desconecte el adaptador de corriente. De lo contrario,
se perderán todos los ajustes del reloj y de la alarma.
PRECAUCIONES:
1. No mezcle baterías antiguas y nuevas.
2. No mezcle baterías alcalinas, estándar (carbono-cinc) o recargables (níquel-cadmio).
3. Si prevé que la unidad no se utilizará durante un período largo de tiempo, retire las
baterías. Unas baterías antiguas o con fugas puedan causar daños en la unidad e
invalidar la garantía.
4. No arroje las baterías al fuego ya que pueden explotar o provocar fugas.
5. No exponga las baterías a temperaturas excesivas como la luz solar directa, un
fuego o similares.
6. Sustituya todas las baterías al mismo tiempo, tanto si están agotadas como si no,
cada 2 años para evitar posibles fugas en las baterías.
7. No intente recargar las baterías que no sean recargables; pueden sobrecalentarse,
romperse y presentar fugas. (Siga las indicaciones del fabricante de las baterías).
8. Tan solo personas adultas deberían cambiar las baterías.
AJUSTE DE LA HORA DEL RELOJ
Para que el reloj funcione correctamente, debe ajustarse antes de que se utilice por
primera vez.Tras encender la unidad o mantener pulsado el botón CLOCK/MEM/PRESET
(#3) en modo de reposo, la pantalla del reloj empezará a parpadear. Para ajustar la hora,
siga los pasos siguientes:
1. Pulse repetidas veces los botones HOUR/TUNER- (#4) y MIN/TUNER+ (#5) hasta que
se muestre la hora correcta.
2. Pulse el botón CLOCK/MEM/PRESET (#3) para conrmar la hora.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA ALARMA
El DCR-300 incluye un reloj despertador doble.
Para ajustar las alarmas:
1. En modo de reposo, pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón AL1/VOL-(#9) para acceder
al modo de ajuste de la hora de la alarma 1.
2. La hora de la alarma parpadeará en la pantalla.

3. Pulse repetidas veces los botones HOUR/TUNER- (#4) y MIN/TUNER+ (#5) hasta
que se muestre la hora correcta de la alarma.
4. Pulse el botón AL1/VOL- (#9) para conrmar.
5. El procedimiento de ajuste de la alarma 2 es el mismo que el de la alarma 1.
AJUSTE DE LA ALARMA O LA RADIO COMO DESPERTADOR, o APAGADO
1. En modo de reposo, pulse repetidas veces el botónAL1 / VOL- (#9) para ajustar la
alarma 1.
a. En la alarma como despertador, se iluminará el indicador de la alarma 1 (alarma
despertador) (#14).
b. En la radio como alarma, se iluminará el indicador de la alarma 1 (radio
despertador) (#13).
c. Cuando la alarma 1 está desactivada, ambos indicadores de la alarma y la radio
como despertadores estarán apagados.
(Nota: durante el ajuste anterior, la hora de la alarma se mostrará en la pantalla
LED).
2. Los procedimientos de ajuste de la alarma 2 en modo alarma, radio o desconexión
son los mismos que los de la alarma 1.
3. Cuando suena la alarma, parpadea el indicador de alarma correspondiente.
4. La alarma sonará durante una hora salvo que se interrumpa pulsando el botón
(#1).
5. La alarma seleccionada se repetirá a la misma hora el día siguiente.
Nota: Si las alarmas 1 y 2 se ajustan al mismo tiempo, solo funcionará la alarma 1.
FUNCIÓN DE LA ALARMA DE REPETICIÓN
Cuando suene la alarma, pulse el botón SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18) para apagar
temporalmente la alarma y activar la función de repetición. La alarma dejará de sonar
y volverá a hacerlo 9 minutos después. Si vuelve a pulsar SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18), la
alarma se volverá a apagar temporalmente y sonará de nuevo 9 minutos después, y así
sucesivamente. El sonido de la alarma se desactivará tras una hora.
NOTAS:
• Para silenciar temporalmente la alarma, pulse el botón SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18). La
alarma volverá a sonar una vez transcurrido el período de repetición (9 minutos).
• Los indicadores correspondientes de las alarmas 1 o 2 (alarma o radio) parpadean
en la pantalla durante el período de repetición.
• Para cancelar el período de repetición y la alarma, pulse el botón (#1).
FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA RADIO
Escuchar la radio
1. Pulse el botón MODE (#2) repetidamente para encender la unidad y seleccionar el
modo FM, la frecuencia se mostrará en la pantalla LED.
2. Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón HOUR/TUNER- (#4) o bien MIN/TUNER+(#5)

para buscar la siguiente/anterior emisora disponible.
3. Si la recepción es deciente, intente sintonizar manualmente la emisora. Pulse
brevemente el botón HOUR/TUNER- (#4) o bien MIN/TUNER+ (#5) para sintonizar
manualmente la banda de frecuencia.
4. Ajuste los botones HOUR/TUNER-(#4) y MIN/TUNER+(#5) para obtener el nivel de
volumen deseado.
5. Cuando ya no quiera escuchar la radio, pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón (#1)
para apagar la radio.
NOTAS:
• La pantalla LED cambiará para mostrar la hora del reloj tras unos pocos
segundos.
• Pulse el botón HOUR/TUNER- (#4) o MIN/TUNER+(#5) para comprobar la frecuencia
sintonizada.
Presintonización de emisoras de radio
La unidad permite almacenar hasta 30 emisoras FM para poder recuperarlas fácilmente
en cualquier momento.
1. Pulse el botón MODE (#2) repetidamente para encender la unidad y seleccionar el
modo FM.
2. Sintonice la emisora de radio que desee guardar en la memoria.
3. Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón CLOCK/MEM/PRESET (#3). El canal
presintonizado número “P01” parpadeará en la pantalla.
4. Para modicar el número de canal presintonizado, pulse los botones HOUR/TUNER-
(#4) y MIN/TUNER+ (#5) para pasar por las distintas presintonizaciones.
5. Para conrmar una presintonización, pulse el botón CLOCK/MEM/PRESET (#3).
6. Si desea guardar otra emisora, repita los pasos 2-5 anteriores.
RECUPERAR UNA EMISORA PRESINTONIZADA
En el modo FM, pulse varias veces el botón CLOCK /MEM / PRESET (#3) para seleccionar
el canal presintonizado.
CONSEJOS PARA MEJORAR LA RECEPCIÓN DE RADIO
FM - Si la recepción FM es débil, extienda por completo la antena y modique la
posición y ubicación de la antena hasta localizar la señal más fuerte.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL BLUETOOTH
La unidad incorpora una función Bluetooth que permite recibir una señal a 8 metros
de distancia.
1. Pulse el botón STANDBY del mando a distancia o el botón (#1) para encender la
unidad.
2. Pulse el botón MODE para activar el modo BLUETOOTH.

3. Si la unidad no está conectada a ningún dispositivo Bluetooth, en la pantalla LED
parpadeará“BT”. Bluetooths e mostrará en la pantalla LED (#25).
4. Active su dispositivo Bluetooth y seleccione el modo de búsqueda.
5. “DCR-300”aparecerá en su lista de dispositivos Bluetooth.
6. Seleccione“DCR-300”e introduzca“0000”como contraseña si es necesario.
7. Para desconectar la función Bluetooth, pulse el botón MODE para cambiar a otro
modo o desconecte la función de su dispositivo Bluetooth.
NOTA:
• Si la fuerza de la señal es débil, su receptor Bluetooth podría desconectarse, pero se
volverá a conectar automáticamente.
• Para mejorar la recepción de la señal, retire los obstáculos entre la unidad y el
dispositivo Bluetooth.
• Esta unidad soporta las funciones A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Prole) y
AVRCP (AudioVideo Remote Control Prole). Solo puede conectarse a un dispositivo
Bluetooth cada vez.
• No está garantizada la compatibilidad con todos los dispositivos y medios.
• Algunos teléfonos móviles con la función Bluetooth puede conectarse y
desconectarse cuando haga y nalice llamadas. Esto no signica que haya un
problema con su unidad.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA ENTRADA AUXILIAR
Puede reproducir otras fuentes de música (iPod, MP3 otros reproductores de audio
digitales)a través de los altavoces del DCR-300 si conecta el conector AUX IN (#8) al
conector de audio de su reproductor externo o al conector de los auriculares.
1. Conecte un extremo de un cable de audio (no incluido) al conector AUX IN(#8) y el
otro extremo del cable al conector de los auriculares de su reproductor de audio
digital.
2. Pulse repetidamente el botón MODE (#2) para seleccionar el modo AUX.
3. AUX se mostrará en la pantalla LED.
4. Encienda y empiece a reproducir el dispositivo externo que ha conectado al
conector AUX IN (#8).
5. Ajuste lentamente los controles de volumen de su DCR-300 y del dispositivo
externo hasta que logre un nivel de sonido adecuado.
Notas:
• Si conecta el DCR-300 al conector de salida de su dispositivo externo, tan solo deberá
ajustar el volumen de su DCR-300. Si lo conecta al conector para auriculares de su
dispositivo externo, deberá ajustar el volumen tanto de su dispositivo externo como
del DCR-300 para lograr el nivel de sonido deseado.
• No olvide apagar el DCR-300 cuando haya nalizado y desconectar también su
dispositivo de audio externo.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL MODO DESCANSO
El temporizador de descanso permite que la unidad se apague automáticamente tras
el transcurso de un tiempo predeterminado.

1. Pulse el botón SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18) para acceder al modo descanso.
2. Pulse repetidamente el botón SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18) para seleccionar el
temporizador de descanso: 120 – 90 – 80 - 70 – 60 – 50 - 40 – 30 – 20 –10 – 5 -
OFF (en minutos). La unidad funcionará durante el tiempo seleccionado y luego
se apagará automáticamente.
3. Para cancelar el temporizador, pulse repetidamente el botón SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18)
hasta que se muestre OFF.
4. Si desea apagar la unidad antes de que transcurra el tiempo predeterminado,
pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón (#1) en cualquier momento.
Nota: Para comprobar el tiempo de descanso restante, pulse una vez el botón SNOOZE/
SLEEP (#18).
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL ATENUADOR
Pulse repetidamente el botón DIMMER (#12) para seleccionar el brillo de la pantalla
(alto o bajo).
CARGA DE LA BATERÍA POR USB
CONEXIÓN DE UN CABLE USB (NO INCLUIDO) PARA CARGAR SUTELÉFONO MÓVIL
(CC5V ==== 1.0A)
1. Conecte el extremo estándar del cable USB (no incluido) al puerto de carga USB
(#19) situado en la parte posterior del DCR-300. Conecte el otro extremo del cable
al dispositivo que desee cargar.
2. Observe el indicador de carga de la batería de su dispositivo para comprobar que
el proceso de carga se ha iniciado con normalidad.
3. Desconecte el cable cuando el dispositivo esté completamente cargado.
ADVERTENCIA!
• El puerto USB situado en la parte posterior del DCR-300 solo puede utilizarse para
cargar la batería de smartphones o dispositivos portátiles, y no soporta transferencias
de datos ni conexiones a ordenadores.
• No conecte el puerto USB del DCR-300 a otro cargador USB. Podría dañar ambas
unidades e invalidar la garantía.
CARGA INALÁMBRICA
Esta unidad permite cargar teléfonos de forma inalámbrica mediante el estándar.
Coloque el dispositivo con la parte posterior hacia abajo sobre la base de carga
inalámbrica (#20 ) sobre el DCR-300. Se iluminará el indicador de carga (#16).
PRECAUCIÓN:
Extraiga la carcasa metálica de protección del teléfono antes de cargarlo. Cuando
cargue el teléfono, no coloque objetos con bandas magnéticas u otros objetos de
metal sobre el cargador ya que podría dañar el objeto o esta unidad. Los teléfonos con
acabados metálicos compatibles con el estándar se cargarán con normalidad.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
• Limpie la radio con un paño suave húmedo y deje que se seque bien tras la
limpieza.
• No utilice detergentes agresivos, cepillos con cerdas de nailon, utensilios de limpieza
alados o metálicos, cuchillos, rascadores duros u otros objetos similares. Podrían
dañar las supercies de la radio.
• No sumerja la radio en agua y evite que entre agua dentro de la carcasa de la radio.
• Desenchufe el adaptador de corriente y limpie la radio antes de guardarla.
• Guarde siempre la radio en lugares secos y limpios.

Industrias Masats, en cumplimiento con lo establecido por la Ley de Protección al
Consumidor (Ley 23/2003 de 10 /07/2003), ofrece Garantía al Cliente en España y
Portugal (Península y Baleares), para todos sus productos de la marca bajo las siguientes
condiciones:

A. Todos los productos en los que se detecten fallos de funcionamiento antes de
transcurridos 15 DÍAS desde la fecha de venta al cliente nal SERÁN CAMBIADOS POR
OTRO, cuando:
1. El producto haya sido utilizado solo en el uso normal para el que estaba previsto.
2. No haya sido abierto, manipulado o alterado por persona ajena al Servicio Técnico
Ocial de la marca.
3. No haya sufrido daños por golpes, inundación, sobrecalentamiento, sobrecarga
eléctrica o cualquier otra circunstancia externa que pueda ser posible motivo de
avería.
4. Sea devuelto al punto de venta donde se adquirió, con su embalaje original en
perfecto estado, completo con todos sus accesorios y manuales, y acompañado de
la factura o ticket de venta donde se indique claramente la marca tipo del producto
y la fecha de venta.
B. Todos los productos en los que se detecten fallos de funcionamiento antes de
transcurridos DOS AÑOS desde su fecha de venta, serán reparados o cambiados por
otro, siempre que:
1. El producto haya sido utilizado solo en el uso normal para el que estaba previsto.

4. Sea devuelto al servicio técnico de Industrias Masats o al punto de venta donde
se adquirió, con embalaje adecuado y acompañado de la factura o ticket de venta
donde se indique claramente la marca y tipo del producto, la fecha de venta y el
nombre y dirección del establecimiento vendedor así como una explicación de la
avería detectada.
Excepción: Los componentes adicionales de los productos sujetos a desgaste natural
debido a su uso como adaptadores AC, baterías, mandos a distancia, auriculares…,
quedan excluidos de esta garantía.
Será responsabilidad exclusiva del usuario el envío del producto en las condiciones
adecuadas para evitar daños durante el transporte.
Industrias Masats se reserva el derecho a dictaminar sobre el estado de los productos
averiados o defectuosos que le sean remitidos. En caso de reclamación serán de
competencia exclusiva los Tribunales de la ciudad de Barcelona.

ON PLACEMENT
• Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid.
• Place the unit on a at and even surface.
• Do not restrict the air ow of the unit by placing it in a place with poor ventilation,
by covering it with a cloth or by placing it on a carpet.
ON CONDENSATION
• When left in a heated room where it is warm and damp, water droplets or
condensation may form inside the unit.
• When there is condensation inside the unit, the unit may not function normally.
• Let it stand for 1 to 2 hours before turning the power on, or gradually heat the
room up and dry the unit before use.

the product safely. Hand the battery over to the applicable collection point for the
recycling of waste batteries.

it is legally enforced, mainly in the countries EEA (European Economic
Area).

POWER SOURCE (AC ADAPTOR ONLY)
The DCR-300 operates with an external AC-DC adaptor with output DC 5V 1A .
The unit is also equipped with a battery back-up system for the clock that is powered
by 2 x AAA batteries (Not included).
POWER CONNECTION
1. Connect the cord of the power adaptor to the DC IN JACK (#7) of the DCR-300.
2. Connect the plug of the power adaptor to a wall socket.
The DCR-300 is powered and in standby mode when you see the display is switched
on.
Battery Back-up system
• The radio is equipped with a battery back-up system. It requires 2 x AAA batteries (Not
included).

• Open the BATTERY DOOR. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment and make
sure the positive and negative (+ or -) sides of the batteries are in contact with the
corresponding terminals in the battery compartment. Replace the BATTERY DOOR .
• If a power cut occurs, the radio automatically switches to the battery power supply
and keeps the clock and timer settings.
•When replacing the battery, do not disconnect the power adaptor. Otherwise, all clock
and alarm settings will be lost.
CAUTIONS:
1. Do not mix old and new batteries.
2. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium)
batteries.
3. If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries.
Old or leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
4. Do not dispose of batteries in re, batteries may explode or leak.
5. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
6. Replace all the batteries at the same time, no matter exhausted or not, every 2
years at the same time to avoid possible battery leakage.
7. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat,
rupture and leak. (Follow battery manufacturer’s directions).
8. Only an adult should replace the batteries.
SETTING THE CLOCK TIME
In order for the clock to function properly, the clock has to be set before you use it for
the rst time. After powering up the unit or press and hold CLOCK / MEM / PRESET
BUTTON (#3) at standby mode, the clock display will ash. To set the time, follow the
steps below:
1. Tap the HOUR/TUNER- (#4) AND MIN/TUNER+ (#5) repeatedly until the correct
time is displayed.
2. Press the CLOCK / MEM / PRESET BUTTON (#3) to conrm the time.
ALARM OPERATION
The DCR-300 features a dual alarm clock.
To set the alarms:
1. In standby mode, press and hold the AL1 / VOL- BUTTON (#9) to enter the alarm 1
time setting mode.
2. The alarm time display will ash.
3. Tap the HOUR/TUNER- (#4) AND MIN/TUNER+ (#5) repeatedly until the correct
alarm time is displayed.
4. Tap the AL1 / VOL- BUTTON (#9) to conrm.
5. Alarm 2 setting procedures are same as Alarm 1.

SETTING WAKE TO ALARM, RADIO or OFF
1. In standby mode, tap the AL1 / VOL- BUTTON (#9) repeatedly to set alarm 1.
a. Wake to Alarm, Alarm 1 INDICATOR (wake to alarm) (#14) will light up.
b. Wake to Radio, Alarm 1 INDICATOR (wake to radio) (#13) will light up.
c. Alarm 1 O, both WAKE to ALARM & RADIO Indicators light o.
(Note: during the above setting, the alarm time is shown on the LED display.)
2. Alarm 2 wake to Alarm, Radio or O setting procedures is same as Alarm 1.
3. When alarm sounds, the corresponding alarm indicators will ash.
4. The alarm sound for one hour unless interrupted by pressing the BUTTON (#1).
5. It will repeat the chosen alarm again at the same time the following day.
Note: If Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 set at same time, only Alarm 1 will function.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
When the alarm sounds, tap the SNOOZE/SLEEP BUTTON (#18) to temporarily turn
o the alarm and activate the snooze function, the alarm will stop and sound again 9
minutes later. If you tap the SNOOZE/SLEEP (#18) again, the alarm will temporarily turn
o again and sound again in 9 minutes and so on. The alarm sound will turn o after
one hour.
NOTES:
• To temporarily silence the alarm, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP BUTTON (#18).The alarm
will sound again when the snooze period (9 minutes) expires.
• The corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator (alarm or radio) ashes on the
display during the snooze period.
• To cancel the snooze period and the alarm, press BUTTON (#1).
RADIO OPERATION
Listening to the radio
1. Press the MODE BUTTON (#2) repeatedly to Turn On the unit and select FM mode,
frequency will show on the LED display.
2. Press and hold the HOUR / TUNER- BUTTON (#4) OR MIN/TUNER+ BUTTON (#5) to
search for the next / previous available station.
3. If the reception is poor, try Manual Tuning to ne-tune the station. Tap the HOUR
/ TUNER- BUTTON (#4) OR MIN/TUNER+BUTTON (#5) briey to manually tune
through the frequency band.
4. Adjust the HOUR / TUNER- BUTTON (#4) and MIN/TUNER+ BUTTON (#5) to obtain
the desired sound level.
5. When you have nished listening, press and hold BUTTON (#1) to turn the radio
o.

NOTES:
• The LED display will change to show the clock time after a few seconds.
• Tap the TUNER- BUTTON (#4) OR MIN/TUNER+ BUTTON (#5) to check the tuned
frequency.
Setting the Radio Station Presets
The unit allows you to store up to 30 FM stations for easy recall at any time.
1. Press the MODE BUTTON (#2) repeatedly to turn on the unit and select FM Mode.
2. Tune to the radio station you want to store in memory.
3. Press and hold the CLOCK / MEM / PRESET BUTTON (#3).The preset channel number
“P01”will be ashing on the display.
4. To change the preset channel number location, press the HOUR / TUNER- BUTTON
(#4) and MIN/TUNER+ BUTTON (#5) to step through the preset locations.
5. To conrm the preset location, press CLOCK / MEM / PRESET BUTTON (#3).
6. To store another station presets, repeat steps 2-5 above.
RECALL PRESET STATION
In FM mode, press the CLOCK /MEM / PRESET BUTTON (#3) repeatedly to select the
preset channel.
TIPS FOR BEST RADIO RECEPTION
FM - If FM reception is weak, fully extend the wire antenna and vary the position and
location of the antenna until you nd the strongest signal.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
The unit has a Bluetooth function that can receive a signal within 8 metres.
Pairing the unit with a Bluetooth device to listen to music:
1. Press the STANDBY button on the remote control or BUTTON (#1) to turn on the
power on .
2. Press MODE button to turn on the BLUETOOTH mode.
3. If the unit is not paired with any Bluetooth device, the LED display will ash “BT”
Bluetooth will show on the LED (#25) Display
4. Activate your Bluetooth device and select the search mode.
5. “DCR-300”will appear on your Bluetooth device list.
6. Select “DCR-300”and enter“0000”for the password if necessary.
7. To disconnect the Bluetooth function, press the MODE button to switch to another
mode or disconnect the function from your Bluetooth device.

NOTE:
• If the signal strength is weak, your Bluetooth receiver may disconnect, but it will
re-enter pairing mode automatically.
• For a better signal reception, remove the obstacles between the unit and the
Bluetooth device.
• This unit supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Prole) and AVRCP (Audio
Video Remote Control Prole) functions.This can only be paired with one Bluetooth
device at one time.
• Compatibility with all devices and media types is not guaranteed.
• Some mobile phones with the Bluetooth function may connect and disconnect as
you make and end calls. This is not an indication of a problem with your unit.
AUX IN OPERATION
You can play other music sources (iPod, MP3 or other digital audio players) through the
speakers of the DCR-300 by connecting the AUX IN JACK (#8) to your external player’s
audio out jack or headphone jack.
1. Plug one end of an audio cable (not included) into the AUX IN JACK (#8) and the
other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your digital audio player.
2. Tap MODE BUTTON (#2) repeatedly to select AUX mode.
3. AUX will show on the LED Display.
4.Turn on and start playing the external device you plugged into the AUX IN JACK
(#8).
5. Slowly adjust both the volume controls of your DCR-300 and the external device
until you reach a comfortable listening level.
Notes:
• If you connect the DCR-300 to the Line-Out Jack of your external device, you only
need to adjust the volume control of your DCR-300. If you connect to the Headphone
Jack of your external device, you may need to adjust both the volume controls of
your external device and the DCR-300 to obtain the desirable listening level.
• Remember to turn o the DCR-300 when you have nished listening. Don’t forget to
switch o the power of your external audio device as well.
SLEEP OPERATION
The sleep timer allows the unit turn o automatically after a designated time has
elapsed.
1. Tap the SNOOZE/SLEEP BUTTON (#18) to enter sleep mode.
2. Repeatedly tap the SNOOZE/SLEEP BUTTON (#18)to select the sleep timer 120 – 90
– 80 - 70 – 60 – 50 - 40 – 30 – 20 – 10 – 5 - OFF (in minutes). The unit will play for the
selected length of time then turn o automatically.
3. To cancel the sleep timer, repeatedly tap the SNOOZE / SLEEP BUTTON (#18) until
the timer shows OFF.
4. To turn the unit “O” before the selected length of time, press and hold the
BUTTON (#1) at any time.

Note: To check the remaining sleep time, tap the SNOOZE /SLEEP BUTTON (#18) once.
DIMMER OPERATION
Tap the DIMMER BUTTON (#12) repeatedly to select the brightness settings of the
display (High, Low).
USB BATTERY CHARGING
CONNECTING A USB CORD (NOT INCLUDED) FOR CHARGING YOUR CELL PHONE
(DC 5V ==== 1.0A)
1. Plug the standard end of the USB cable (not included) into the USB CHARGE PORT
(#19) located on the back of the DCR-300. Plug the other end of the cable into the
device you wish to charge.
2. Observe the battery charge indicator on your device to make sure the charging
process starts normally.
3. Unplug the cable when your device is fully charged.
WARNING!
• The USB port located on the back of the DCR-300 is designed for a smart phone
or portable device battery charging only and does not support data transfer or
connection to a computer.
• Don’t connect the USB port of the DCR-300 to another USB charger. It may damage
both units and void the warranty.
WIRELESS CHARGING
This unit will wireless charge compatible wireless charging phones.
Center device with back side down on the WIRELESS CHARGE BASE (#20) on the top of
the DCR-300, The CHARGE INDICATOR (#16) will light.
CAUTION:
Removemetalprotectiveor magneticcasefromphonebefore charging.When charging
phone, do not place magnetic-striped or other metal objects on the charger. Doing so
could damage the object or this unit. Compatible phones with metallic nishes will
charge normally.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the radio with a soft damp cloth and let all parts dry completely after
cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with nylon bristles, sharp or metallic
cleaning utensils, knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the surfaces
of the radio.
• Do not immerse the radio in water and do not let water getting into the housing of
the radio.
