Adhere to ll w rnings on the ppli nce nd in the oper ting instructions.
3. Cleaning
Unplug the TV from the w ll outlet before cle ning. Do not use liquid, br sive, or erosol cle ners.
Cle ners c n perm nently d m ge the c binet nd screen. Use lightly d mpened cloth for
cle ning.
4. Attachments and Equipment
Never dd ny tt chment nd/or equipment without pprov l of the m nuf cturer s such dditions m y
result in the risk of fire, electric shock or other person l injury.
5. Water and Moisture

6. Setting
Do not pl ce this TV on n unst ble c rt, st nd or t ble. Pl cing the TV on n unst ble b se c n
c use the TV to f ll, resulting in serious person l injuries s well s d m ge to the TV. Use only
c rt, st nd, br cket or t ble recommended by the m nuf cturer or s lesperson.
7. Ventilation
Slots nd openings in the c binet re provided for ventil tion nd to ensure reli ble oper tion of the TV nd to
protect it from overhe ting. Do not cover the ventil tions openings in the c binet nd never pl ce the set in confined
sp ce such s built-in c binet unless proper ventil tion is provided. Le ve minimum 10 cm g p ll round the unit.
8. Power Source
This TV should be oper ted only from the type of power source indic ted on the m rking l bel. If you re not
sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your ppli nce de ler or loc l power comp ny.
9. Grounding or Polarization
This TV is equipped with pol rized ltern ting current line plug ( plug h ving one bl de wider th n the other). This
plug will fit into the power outlet only one w y. This is s fety fe ture. If you re un ble to insert the plug fully into
the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still f il to fit, cont ct your electrici n to repl ce your obsolete
outlet. Do not defe t the s fety purpose of the pol rized plug. A w rning th t n pp r tus with CLASS I construction
sh ll be connected to MAINS socket outlet with protective e rthing connection.
10. Power-Cord Protection
Power-supply cords should be routed so th t they re not likely to be w lked on or pinched by items pl ced
upon or g inst them, p ying p rticul r ttention to cords t plugs, w ll outlets, nd the point
where they exit from the TV.
MAINS plug is used s the disconnect device, the disconnect device sh ll rem in re dily oper ble.
11. Lightning
For dded protection for this TV during lightning storm, or when it is left un ttended nd unused for long
periods of time, unplug it from the w ll outlet nd disconnect the ntenn or c ble system. This will prevent
d m ge to the TV due to lightning nd power-line surges.
12. Wall or Ceiling Mounting
When mounting the product on w ll or ceiling, be sure to inst ll the product using the design ted
mounting tool ccording to the method recommended by the m nuf cturer.

13. Power Lines
An outside ntenn system should not be loc ted in the vicinity of overhe d power lines or other electric light
or power circuits, or where it c n f ll into such power lines or circuits. When inst lling n outside ntenn
system, extreme c re should be t ken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits s cont ct with
them might be f t l.
14. Overloading
Do not overlo d w ll outlets nd extension cords s this c n result in risk of fire or electric shock.
15. Object and Liquid Entry
Never push objects of ny kind into this TV through openings s they m y touch d ngerous volt ge points or
short-out p rts th t could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of ny kind on or into the TV.
16. Outdoor Antenna Grounding
If n outside ntenn or c ble system is connected to the TV, be
sure the ntenn or c ble system is grounded so s to provide
some protection g inst volt ge surges nd built-up st tic ch rges.
Section 810 of the N tion l Electric Code, ANSI /NFPA No. 70-1984,
provides inform tion with respect to proper grounding of the m st
nd supporting structure, grounding of the le d in wire to n ntenn
disch rge unit, size of grounding conductors, loc tion of
ntenn disch rge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, nd
requirements for the grounding electrode.
17. Servicing
Do not ttempt to service this TV yourself s opening or removing covers m y expose you to d ngerous
volt ge or other h z rds. Refer ll servicing to qu lified service personnel.
18. Damage Requiring Service
Unplug the TV from the w ll outlet nd refer servicing to qu lified service personnel under the following
conditions:
( ) When the power-supply cord or plug is d m ged.
(b) If liquid h s been spilled, or objects h ve f llen into the TV.
(c) If the TV h s been exposed to r in or w ter.
(d) If the TV does not oper te norm lly by following the oper ting instructions. Adjust only those controls
th t re covered by the oper ting instructions s n improper djustment of other controls m y result in
d m ge nd will often require extensive work by qu lified technici n to restore the TV to its norm l oper tion.
(e) If the TV h s been dropped or the c binet h s been d m ged.
(f) When the TV exhibits distinct ch nge in perform nce - this indic tes need for service.
19. Replacement Parts
When repl cement p rts re required, be sure the service technici n h s used repl cement p rts specified
by the m nuf cturer or h ve the s me ch r cteristics s the origin l p rt. Un uthorized substitutions m y
result in fire, electric shock or other h z rds.
20. Sa ety Check
Upon completion of ny service or rep ir to the TV, sk the service technici n to perform s fety checks to
determine th t the TV is in s fe oper ting condition.

In case of an accident, please unplug the unit from the outlet immediately.
Hold the plug when unplugging the unit
from the outlet. The cord may cause fire or
electric shock if damaged.
Do not cause the product to lean or put it in an
unstable place since it may cause a serious
injury to a person, as well as damage to the
product if it falls.
Do not put any object that contains water -
such as flowerpot - the unit.
The water may penetrate into the unit, and be
a cause of fire or hazardous electric shock.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove cover or back. No user -serviceable
parts inside. Refer to qualified service
personnel for repair.
Do not put on or use the product near water and
moisture-such as in a bathroom, washbowl, etc.
It may be a cause of fire and electric shock
hazards.
To prevent fire and damages to the product,
unplug the unit from the outlet during lightning
storm, or when it is left unattended and unused
for a long period of time.
Do not let children hang on or climb on the
product since it may be a cause of serious
injury.
Slots and openings in the case are provided for
ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the
product. Never put in any item-such as a coin,
paper, match- through these openings since it
may touch dangerous voltage points that could
result in fire or shock hazard.

Do not put volatile substance-such as
benzene, naphtha- near the product since it
may cause a change in the product's colour.
Do not view the TV too closely since it may
cause damage in your eyesight.
Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel for cleaning at least once a year
since dust inside the TV set may be a result
or fire and malfunctioning of the product.
The product should be situated away from
any heat source-such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other products that
produce heat.
Do not put on any heavy item on the power
cord since it may result in fire or hazardous
electric shock if the cord is damaged.
Do not cover the top of the television set.
Ventilation will be prevented, and it may be
a cause of fire if the product is internally
overheated.
Unplug the power from the outlet and all the related
connections from the unit to prevent electric shock. At least
two people must work together to move the TV set when
transporting to prevent the TV from falling, and
consequently, any serious injury or damage.
Do not touch the power cord with
moisturized or wet hands when plugging to
or unplugging from the outlet since it may be
a cause of electric shock.
Please be advised of electric wires and cables when installing
the antenna. It may be a cause of hazardous electric shock and
fire if the antenna touches or falls on the electric wire; thus, it
must be installed firmly, and far away from the cables.
Do not spill water or drop the remote
controller since it may be a cause of
malfunctioning.
