3. Disassembly Procedure
3.1 The Exploded View
Find in attachments.
3.2 Removal Of Major Parts
Warning: Some pictures are taken from design models; the real products may be a little
difference on label or wiring. L40S645WTE is mentioned if no special figure.
1. Remove the stand
base and stand
neck.
Place the HD TV face
down to a flat plate,
neccesarry with soft
blanket on surface.
Remove screws as
shown in picture.
Remove 4 M4×25 black screws and take stand sticks away.
2. Remove the back
cover
Take screws away from the round cabinet, there are 2 kind of screws on the RC. Do
not mix them when put it back.

3. Remove the main
board
Remove screws M3X6
from the main board
and AV bracket, unplug
the wires from the main
board, and take out the
main board.
Remove screws from the AV bracket and the main board, take care of the
elements.
3.3 Removal Of PCB Module
1. Take off the key
board
2. Take off the IR BD
The key board has two screws but the IR board has no screws.

off.
To navigate the MENU using KEYBOARD
A﹥To turn on/off the TV set:
Action: Press Power key on keyboard
Observe: Power key equals POWER on remote control.
B﹥To enter MENU Screen:
Action: Press MENU key on keyboard.
Observe: Menu screen should shown at LCD screen.
C﹥During Menu Screen:
Action: Press Menu key
Observe: Menu key equals RETURN function.
Action: Press Input Key

Scan way
Default:
You can select satellite and each chosen satellite transponder list to scan.
If choice 1 satellite, it’s means scan all transponder list of this satellite.
If choice more satellites, it’s means scan all which been chosen

If choice only 1 transponder, it’s means only scan this TP, similar like DVB-C/T single
frequency scan.
If choice more TP of 1 satellite, you can scan those chosen TP.
This is normal scan way. It can scan follow TP list and scan more quickly.

Blind scan。
This kind of scan will not depend on advance setting(like TP list), only need set antenna
parameter.
Start Blind scan, can scan the focuse Satellite,at the same time get the instant available TP.
The same satellite,Blind scan and Default can compare the channel,at normal time
have’t big different.
Blind scan can get more channel than Default.
The TP list from Blind scan may be could’t match with prefabricated channel.
Some TP from Prefabricated channel maybe ineffect,
But those TP from Blind scan are effect.
If we want to make sure that does the lose TP from Blind scan is effect or not, we need
add this TP parameter in the manual TP list,and choose single frequency way to scan it.
Cause cloud and weather, different time Blind scan have difference.If we want to get
veracious result,pls scan more times
5.Key Check Points & Power Flow Chart
The most special characteristic for these three models is that we use one board instead of three (Main BD,
Power BD and Driver BD). This picture is the top view of MS3463S.PB782 PCB; I marked on the key
elements and ports. I will give brief advices on what are they and what they are used for.

1. AC Jack Alternating current input.
2. Fuse Over current protection.
3. EMC groupware For Electro Magnetic Compatibility.
4. Rectifier bridge Transform Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC).
5. Filter capacitor Store electric energy and output in a mild way.
6. Power control unit Power supply controller.
7. Transformer Transform high voltage to low voltage.
8. Diodes for VCC 12V for DC output, and 32V for backlight, key check point.
9. DC-DC unit Transform high DC voltage (12V) to low voltage. Find detail description in next
page.
10. AMP Control Receive audio signal and amplify for speaker use. Mute controller.
11. Flash memory Random Access Memory for TV software and user information.
12. Decoder TV function controller and video signal decoder.
13. LVDS interface Power supply and video signal output for panel.
14. Backlight controller Adjusting backlight luminance via current control. The voltage of LED bar
will automatically boost to specification setting.

6.Troubleshooting Flow Chart
These flow charts may not match every single defeat TV set, but they can give you useful advices when
you meet the same defeats described on the titles below.
Standby LED does NOT turn off. The TV is dead
PS: Check fuse and Rectifier Bridge when red LED not turns on when insert AC cord. Sometimes the
defect lay on power control unit.

Power on, but LCD backlights are not working or shut down soon.
When standby, the light bar voltage is VBL, but the diode in light bar will not transits. The boost circuit
will increase the voltage into V-LED, when LED bar is open; the voltage reaches OVP (over voltage
protection). When the light bar is short, the voltage is different and OCP (over current protection) will
work, the backlight may shut down soon.

Back light is OK while no video or OSD.
