Here are the features of your new refrigerator.
Take a moment to know all the features designed for the convenience of the user.
Ice Tray
Fill3/4 oftheice tray with water, as the volume expandswhenthe waterisfrozen.Place the tray
in the freezercompartment. Toreleaseice cubes, twist the icetray slightly. Icecubeswillbe
easier to remove if it is held for a short while under running water.
Movable refrigerator and freezer shelves
Storage shelves should be adjusted depending onthe height of thefood stored. Todothis,pull
theshelvesslightlyforward.
Defrost-drain Vessel
Since dust accumulated on thedrain casedecreases the evaporation efficiency, you should clean
thedrain caseat regular intervals.

Lamp cover
Toremove thelamp cover
1.Push up the bottom end of lamp cover gently, then
pullout.
2.Reverse procedure to join together.
Vegetable case
May be used for fruit and vegetable storage. Both the
vegetable case and its cover shelf are removable for
easy cleaning. Simply slideforward to remove.
Utility Pocket (Top)
The Egg Case in this pocket can be turned upside
down for the use of smallsize goods.
For lock installed refrigerators only.
CAUTION: 1. Check your voltage before insertingthe power supply cord into the socket.
2. Contact the earthingconductor to thisunit with an attachment earthing screw.
3.Do not spillliquid on thisunit.
4. Do not use flammablespray,such as painting, near this unit.
5. Do not place ignitable material, such as benzine, L.P. gas, alcohol etc., intothis
unit.
6. Take precautionsagainst leakageof any gasequipmentnear this unit.
7. Keep children from hangingon the doorof this unit.
8. Donot reinsert the powersupply cord within 5 minutes afterreleasing it from the
socket. If not, there may be problems with the compressor.
CAUTION
Whenyou putortake out food fromtherefrigerator, be careful not tohit yourhead on the lock
asthere isa protrusion on thedoor of your refrigerator.

METHODS OF SAFE INSTALLATION
1. SAFE INSTALLATION PLACE FOR YOUR REFRIGERATOR
•Placethe refrigerator on a
strong and level floor.
Unstable installationcan
produce noise and
vibration.
•Place your refrigerator
where thereis no heat
sourcenearby.
High atmosphere
temperature will lower
coolingefficiencyand
increase your electricity bill.
•Place the refrigerator in an
area where the humidity
level is low.
Splashing wateron the
refrigerator or installing the
unit in ahumid area may
cause short circuit and rust.
•Avoid places that are
exposedto coalgasor
smoke, or discoloring may
occur on the refrigerator.
•For good ventilation, keep
enoughspace between the
sidewalls and your.
Thishelpstocool efficiently
andlowers the electricity bill.
•Puttingthe refrigerator on
the carpetmay cause
temperature rise and result
in thediscoloringof the
carpet due to the
compressor heat.
Insuch a case,place a hard
woodenboard or a rubber
mat between the carpetand
the unit.

2. INSTALLATION STEPS
•Select a safe place to install
your refrigerator.•Level therefrigerator by usingthe adjustable feet. •Install the parts intheir own place.
•Check if thedoorsare
completelyclosed. •Check the voltage. Thenwait about an hour
before pluggingthe power
cord intothe outlet.
•Put food in the refrigerator
afterrunning the refrigerator
for2~3hours.

3. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE MOVING OR
RELOCATING THE REFRIGERATOR!
•Unplungthe power cord. •Remove the grille withdriver
and water from the defrost-
drainvessel located at the
rearofthe refrigerator.
•Do not detach the defrost
drainvessel from the
compressor.
•Take food out of the
refrigerator.
•Fasten the interior
components with adhesive
tape.
• Havetwo people carry the
refrigerator to move safely.
•Fasten the doors with
adhesive tape to prevent
from opening while moving.

4. CLEANING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
•Before you clean the
refrigerator, unplug the
powercord. To clean, use a
softpieceof cloth. Wash
withwarm, soapywater
rinseanddry.
•The refrigerator may smell
during theinitial operation,
but the odour willfade away
whenthe refrigerator is
cooledsufficiently.
•Use a soft cloth for cleaning
the interior andexterior of
the refrigerator.
•Do not sprinkle water
directlyon the refrigerator
itself.
•Putthe partsbackin their
originalpositions after
cleaning.

Leveling
Location
How to Install
Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. Allow at least 6cm
clearance between the refrigerator and side wall so that the door may open for a fully usable interior
and the refrigerator may have good air circulation. The refrigerator is not designed for recessed
installation.
Select a strong and level floor.
Keep 6cmof spacebetween therefrigerator
and thewalls.
Level the refrigerator so that it rests solidly on the floor without rocking. There are two leveling feet at
each front corner. Turn to the left to raise a corner, to the right to lower it. Use shims under the rear
corners, if necessary.
If you want the refrigerator door to close naturally, adjust the leveling feet so that the front of the
refrigeratorisraised by 5mm.
If you want the refrigerator to remain motionless when open, adjust the leveling feet so that all
fourcornersare leveled witheachother.
NOTE: All packing materials usedto ensure safety during transport should be removed. You
must remove the transport safty packing and wipeoff anypossibleadhesive tape
residues with a petroleum-based cleaner or similarsolvent.

2. Set thetemperature controlknob at normal position.
3. Connect the power supply cord.

1. TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Temperature is controlled bythermostat automatically.
The Temperature Controlinside the refrigerator controls thedegree of cooling for each
compartment.
Freezer Temperature Control
Thecontrol has foursettings form MIN to
WINTER. The WINTER mode is available
only ifatmospheretemperature isbelow10°C.
Starting your new refrigerator
Refrigerator Temperature Control
The control has the four settings from MIN to
WINTER. The WINTERmode is available
onlyifatmosphere temperature isbelow 10°C.

Turn the temperature control inthe refrigerator and freezercompartments towardWINTER for
colder temperature and towardMIN forwarmer temperature.
Allowapproximately 12 hoursor overnight for the temperature to stabilize.
Thencheck to see if further adjustments are necessary.
Disconnect the power supply cord. Remove icing case and food. Leave doors ajar for ventilation and
dehumidification ofbothcompartments.
2. DEFROSTING THE REFRIGERATOR
You will never have to defrost your refrigerator as it is designed to defrost itself completely and
automatically.
3. RADIANT HEAT
With the Refrigerating System in operation, it is likely that the cabinet will feel warm at the front
edgesand sides.Thisdoes not indicatetrouble.
It is due to the hot-line used in this type of Refrigerating System which consists of piping hot gas
from the (motor-driven) compressor along the front edges, the sides of the cabinet and the center
partitionto prevent dewing. This has nothing to do withthe storage temperatureinside.

To turn off the refrigerator
CAUTION
To avoid the risk of electric shock or death, unplug the power cord before replacing a
burned out light bulb or cleaning the inner parts.
NOTE: During spells of hot, humid weather and in rainy season,
moisture may develop on thecabinet, just as water condenses
around a cold glass of water. It is not an abnormal condition;
wipe off themoisture with a dry cloth.This can also happen
whenthe refrigerator is not installed in anappropriate place.
