1. TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Toturnofftherefrigerator
NOTE:Duringspellsofhot,humid weatherandinrainyseason,moisture
maydeveloponthecabinet,justaswatercondensesaroundacold
glassofwater.Itisnotanabnormalcondition;wipeoffthemoisture
withadrycloth.Thiscanalsohappenwhen therefrigeratorisnot
installedinanappropriateplace.
1.Clean therefrigeratorthoroughly. Wipe the outside witha dry cloth, and the inside with
a dampcloth.
2. Set thetemperaturecontrolknobatnormalposition.
3. Connect the power supply cord.
Disconnect thepowersupply cord. Remove icingcase andfood. Leavedoorsajarfor
ventilationand dehumidification of both compartments.

fromthe(motor-driven)compressoralongthefrontedges, thesidesofthecabinetandthecenter
partitiontopreventdewing.Thishasnothingtodowiththestoragetemperatureinside.

CAUTION: 1. Check your voltage before inserting the power supply cord into the socket.
2.Contacttheearthingconductortothisunitwithanattachmentearthingscrew.
3. Do not spill liquid on this unit.
4. Do not use flammable spray, such as painting, near this unit.
5. Do not place ignitable material, such as benzine, L.P. gas, alcohol etc., into this unit.
6. Take precautions against leakage of any gas equipment near this unit.
7. Keep chidren from hanging on the door of this unit.
8.Do not reinsert the power supply cord within 5 minutes after releasing it from the
socket. If not, there may be problems with the compressor.
9. Put food in the refrigerator after running the refrigerator for 2~3 hours.

■ Ice tray
Fill 3/4 of the ice tray with water, as the volume expands when the water is frozen. Place
the tray in the freezer compartment. To release ice cubes, twist the ice tray slightly. Ice
cubeswill beeasier toremoveifitis held for ashort whileunder running water.
■ Movable refrigerator and freezer shelves
Storage shelves should be adjusted depending on the height of the food stored. To dothis,
pullthe shelvesslightlyforward.
■ Defrost-drain Vessel
Since dust accumulated on the drain case decreases the evaporation efficiency, you
shouldclean the draincaseat regularintervals.
■ Vegetable case
May be used for fruit and vegetable storage. Both the vegetable case and its cover shelf
are removable for easycleaning. Simply slide forward toremove.
■ Utility Pocket (Top)
The EggCase in this pocketcan beturnedupside down for theuseof small size goods.
Location
Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. Allow
at least 6cm clearance between the refrigerator andside wall so that thedoor may open
for a fully usable interior and the refrigerator may have good air circulation. The
refrigerator is notdesigned forrecessed installation.
■ Select a strong and level floor.
■ Keep 6cm ofspacebetween the refrigeratorand the walls.

■ Isthepowersupplycordunplugged?
■ Isthehomefuseorcircuitoutoforder?
If therefrigerator is warmer than usual:
■ Hasthe door beenopened frequentlyor fora longperiod?
■ Arethereanyhotfoodoranythingthathasbeenstoredwithoutcooling?
■ Isthe clearancebetween therefrigeratorandthewallgivensufficiently?
If there are unusual sounds:
■ Istherefrigeratorplacedonalevelledfloor?
■ Arethereanyforeignobjectsbehindtherefrigerator?
■ Aredishes onrefrigeratorshelvesvibrating?
