Hints and Tips to Cleaning Your Carpet
1.Lift the cleaner by the Handle (1) to move the appliance to the desired cleaning
position.
2.DO NOT run the washer over the Mains Cable (13), hold any excess cable in
your free hand whilst cleaning.
3.Use steady, moderate forwards and backwards motion whilst cleaning your
carpet.
4.Always work from back to front across a room to avoid stepping on wet carpet.
5.Don’t allow the carpet to get too wet, use no more than two sets of forwards
and backwards paths. Always finish with a drying path –the more dry paths the
better.
6.Wipe any cleaning solution from woodwork and furniture to prevent any
damage.
7.Allow plenty of time for the carpet to dry and avoid walking on it until it is dry.
8.Increase air circulation i.e., open doors, switch on fans or using a dehumidifier
will help to dry the carpet thoroughly and prevent mildew or mould.
9.After the carpet has thoroughly dried, vacuum the carpet with a conventional
vacuum cleaner.
