Safety Instructions
During the process of installation and operation, please make sure to conform to all the local
electrical codes.
Please adopt the appropriate power adapter, see datasheet for details.
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, please do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
Please install blackouts equipment into the power supply circuit for convenient supply interruption.
If wall or ceiling mounted, please make sure the product is firmly fixed.
If the product does not work properly, please contact your dealer or the nearest service center. Do
not attempt to disassemble the product by yourself. (We won’t be responsible for any problem
caused by unauthorized repair or disassemble.)
Do not place the camera in the vibrated or impacted environment, and keep it away from
electromagnetic interference.

Do not tough the cooling parts directly with hands to avoid scald.
Indoor products should be kept away from water or any liquid.
Do not place the camera in the extremely hot, cold temperatures, dusty or damp environment;
see datasheet for operating temperature and humidity.
Do not aim the camera at the strong light such as sunlight or incandescent lamp, or else the sensor
will be damaged.
Well ventilation is required to avoid accumulation of heat.
Do not tough the sensor modules with fingers. If cleaning is required, use a clean cloth with a bit of
ethanol and wipe it gently. If the camera won’t be used for an extended period of time, put on the
lens cap to protect it from dirt.
The original packing should be kept for maintenance in the future.

1. Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Description
IP Camera is a kind of embedded digital surveillance product which combines the features of both
traditional analog camera and net digital video server. Due to the embedded Linux operating system
and high-efficient hardware platform, the system operates with high scheduling efficiency. Furthermore,
the firmware is burned in the flash, which makes the product small, reliable and highly stable.
1.2 Features
With high efficient processing chip and platform, it works fine and stable:
H.264 standard video compression, with higher compression ratio
Support SDHC storage, secure data storage and
Support motion detection, sensor alarm, network failure etc.
Support dual stream, mobile surveillance, corridor monitoring etc.
Support TCP/IP, HTTP, DDNS and other network protocols.
Support ONVIF and other standard network interface protocols.
Support remote upgrades and maintenance.
Ease of installation, ceiling mounted and wall mounted included.

2. Chapter 2 Installation
Before installation, please check whether the product is sound or not and all the items supplied with the
product are included. Commonly, the camera can be wall mounted and ceiling mounted.
This document is mainly focusing on the installation of ceiling mounted, for wall mounted; please refer
to this document as well.
If bracket installation, please pay attention to weight marked on the bracket that bracket could bear.
Take ceiling mounted as example, see procedures as below:
If wall is made of concrete, install the expansion screw first (the mounted holes should be same with
bracket)and then fix the bracket firmly
When wall is wood, use the self-tapping screws to install it directly.
2.1 Fix the camera:
Fix the ceiling plate to the wall surface, see Figure 2-1. If wall is made of concrete, install the expansion
screw first (the mounted holes should be same with bracket) and then fix the bracket firmly. If wall is

2.2 Plug in SD card:
The rear panel of the Fixed Dome IP Camera includes two SD card slots, plug in the SD card according
to direction of below picture to complete installation of SD card, if plug it out is required, press the SD
card and it will be ejected automatically. See Figure 2-2:

Plug in or out SD card should be operated when the product is powered off, which will avoid the
damage of SD card and prolong the life span of the product. Please note that only one SD card slot will
be available.
2.3 Network connection:
The product shall be connected using a unshielded twisted pair network cable (UTP Cat 5 or more).
Connect the product to the network, see Figure 2-3-1:

2.4 Power supply connection:
Please adopt the appropriate power adapter, and make sure that the plug is firmly inserted into the
power socket. When the product is powered on, the power supply indicators will light up.
See Figure 2-4:

The date & time should be synchronized with the local time or computer for each boots, which is very
important to the correct date & time of recordings. Incorrect date & time may cause the failure of
recording.

2.6 Audio connection:
Connect the product to connectors of Line In & Out, see Figure 2-6:

2.7 CVBS output:
A cable with BNC connector will be supplied with the product, see Figure 2-7:

2.8 Installation completes:
Cover the transparent casing and tighten the screws to complete installation. This series is also
available to be installed with shielded cover for outdoor environment. See Figure 2-8:

3. Chapter 3 Quick Operation Guide
3.1 Network connection
The related network parameters like IP address, subnet mask and port number of the IP Camera which
need to be configured after the hardware installation. But before configuration, please make sure that
the IP Camera is connected to the PC and accessible. Here two ways of connection between the PC
and IP Camera are introduced as below, see Figure 3-1:
The left side is direct line connection while the right is cross line connection

3.2 Login In & Out
3.2.1 Login In
Run a browser (IE recommended) after connection between the PC and IP Camera is completed; input
the IP address of IP Camera in the browser’s address field to enter into the login page. If this is the first
time the product is accessed, please download the ActiveX control after it pops up automatically and
install it. See Figure 3-2-1 and 3-2-2.
The details of factory default settings as below:
IP address: 192.168.1.88
User name: admin
Password: admin

After Active X control is downloaded, double click Web Player.exe and pop up interface below, click
Install to complete the installation of Active X:
