Assembly & Operating Instructions
The following instructions will assist you in assembling, operating and maintaining your
fountain. Depending on which fountain you have purchased, there may be slight variations in how
they get assembled.

1) If water does not flow shortly after power up, unplug and refer to STEP 1 to confirm
that the flow control is in the fully open position. OR Air may be trapped within the
pump. Remedy this by removing the pump & placing back into the filled basin.
2) If splashing occurs when the fountain is running, try reducing the flow rate of the
pump by sliding the stem on the front cover towards the minus (-) side. (see Fig. B)
SET THE "FLOW CONTROL" ON THE PUMP TO THE FULLY OPEN POSITION. DO THIS BY SLIDING THE
STEM ON THE FRONT OF THE PUMP COVER ALL THE WAY OVER TO THE "+" SIGN. (Fig. B).
ATTACH THE INCLUDED PLASTIC FITTING INTO THE PUMP OUTLET (Fig. B) (DEPENDING ON YOUR
MODEL, SOME FITTINGS MAY ALREADY BE PRE-INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY)
LOCATE AND PULL THE OPEN END OF THE PLASTIC FILL TUBE OUT FROM THE OPENING IN THE REAR
OF THE FOUNTAIN AND PUSH IT ALL THE WAY DOWN ONTO THE PUMP FITTING. (Fig. C)
ATTACH THE POWER CORD PLUG COMING FROM THE PUMP TO THE SOCKET ON THE A.C.
ADAPTER. PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN THEN SECURE THE CONNECTION BY SCREWING THE NUT ONTO
THE THREADED NECK UNTIL TIGHT. (Fig. D)
ATTACH THE L.E.D. BARREL CONNECTOR COMING OUT OF THE FOUNTAIN OPENING TO THE
MATING SOCKET ON THE WIRE LEAD COMING FROM THE PUMP. PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN THEN
SECURE THE CONNECTION BY SCREWING THE NUT ONTO THE THREADED NECK UNTIL TIGHT. (Fig. E)
PLACE THE PUMP INTO THE OPENING IN THE REAR OF THE FOUNTAIN, MAKING SURE THAT THE
BARREL CONNECTOR (Fig. E) REMAINS OUTSIDE OF THE FOUNTAIN. (THIS CONNECTION MUST
REMAIN OUT OF THE WATER AS SHOWN IN Fig. F).
FILL THE FOUNTAIN WITH WATER. MINIMUM WATER LEVEL REQUIRES THE PUMP TO BE
COMPLETELY SUBMERSED. MAXIMUM LEVEL IS JUST BELOW THE LOWER EDGE OF THE
OPENING .
PLUG A.C. ADAPTER INTO GFCI OUTLET. BE SURE TO LEAVE A "DRIP LOOP" IN THE WIRE.

INSTRUCTIONS
WARNINGS:
•Pump must ALWAYS be submerged in water. DO NOT RUN DRY.
•Keep ALL electrical connecons out of the water.
•Never plug into a power outlet if any part of the product appears to be damaged.
•Check for leaks aer inial setup and occasionally aerwards.
•DO NOT use any household cleaners on any of the surfaces.
•NEVER allow water to freeze in the fountain. ALWAYS drain fountain basin before
temperatures go below freezing.
•ALWAYS use a “Drip Loop” when operating the pump (see Fig.1). The drip loop simply allows
a portion of the cord to drop down below your outlet before rising back up to it. This will
prevent any water from running into your outlet.
MAINTENANCE:
•Change water periodically to reduce scaling & mineral buildup. Use of Distilled water will help
prevent buildup.
•Check water level and add as necessary to maintain proper level.
•Drain all water from basin and remove & rinse pump if fountain will be out of service for any
extended period of me.
•Remove pump from fountain periodically and rinse with fresh water to remove any debris or
buildup.
•Rinse basin periodically with tap water and wipe away any buildup.

E. G. Danner will repair or replace any unit found to be mechanically defective within 90 days of purchase. For
warranty issues please contact Danner Customer Service for information before returning product. A dated proof
of purchase must be presented to validate any warranty claim. Damages or injuries resulting from negligence,
abuse or misuse of this product are excluded from this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

WINTER STORAGE:
Although these fountains are designed and rated for outdoor use, winter weather conditions in
some regions may adversely affect their finish, performance and lifespan. If the temperature in
your region is at risk of dropping below 34° F, your fountain should be “winterized” before those
temperatures arrive. Follow the simple steps below to winterize your fountain and assure a
trouble-free startup in the spring:
1. Remove power from the pump and completely drain all the water from the fountain basin.
2. Remove the pump from the fountain basin & disconnect it from the fill tube.
3. Disconnect the LED connection lead.
4. Clean the pump as stated in the "Maintenance" section above.
5. Allow all parts to dry or assist with compressed air. Then store all the components in a
temperature controlled area such as a basement or garage.
