istered Dario user’s personal logbook. Should another
person use the scale, their results will be added to the
same registered user’s personal logbook

Before you get on the scale

For your safety, as well as the operaonal life of your
scale, please follow these guidelines:
Do not use the scale on a slippery or wet oor.
Do not step onto the scale when your body or
feet are wet, for example aer taking a bath or
shower.
Do not step on the edges of the measurement
plaorm. The scale may lt. The display unit may
be damaged.
Keep the scale away from cell phones and
microwave ovens.

GETTING STARTED
Downloading the Dario App
1. Go to the Apple App Store® or Google Play and search
for DarioHealth. Download the Dario App.
2. Open the Dario App.
3. If you have an exisng account, log in. If not, tap
Sign Up and follow the instrucons.
For quicker access you can scan the QR code.
The Dario Smart Scale automacally uploads your data to
your Dario App via a cellular network. Make sure that you
have the latest version of the Dario App installed on your
smartphone.

2. Replace the baeries whenever the following happens:
• is displayed
• The display dims
• The display does not light up

Installing and replacing the baeries
1. If this is your rst me using the device:
Open the baery compartment cover on the back of
the scale. Insert the baeries (4 x AA) into the baery
compartment and close the cover.
Seng up your Dario Smart Scale
One possible reason for connecon failure is an unstable
cellular network. Try again in another locaon with a
stronger signal strength. The signal symbol displays the
following status:

Seng up a cellular connecon
Aer you insert the baeries, the symbol will display
on the LCD, indicang that your scale is connecng to
the cellular network.
If the connecon is successful, the symbol will
be displayed.
If the connecon fails, the message “E1” will be
displayed.

Note:
To see the correct me and date for your measurements
in your app logbook, the Dario Smart Scale (Cellular)
must be connected to the cellular network. This happens
automacally the rst me you turn it on, or when you
replace the baeries.

Pair your Dario Smart Scale and the Dario App
1. On the Dario App, go to Menu.
2. Select SETTINGS.
3. Open the CONNECTED APPS & DEVICES screen.
4. Select Dario Smart Scale (Cellular).
5. Follow the app instrucons for pairing your
Dario Smart Scale with the app.
Congratulaons! You’re ready to start measuring.

Get ready
How to measure:
First-me measurement
Place the scale on a hard, at surface. So surfaces
such as carpets will aect the performance of the
scale.
Always measure at the same me, on the same scale,
in the same place.
The scale is intended for use in the home environment
only.
1. Step onto the scale with bare feet and stand sll.
2. The numbers on the LCD screen will blink twice,
then it will display your weight.
3. Your weight will be transmied to the Dario App
aer 10 seconds.
4. Aer your weight has transmied successfully, “oH”
will be displayed and digit “ ” will stop blinking.
5. If the data transfer fails, “E1” will be displayed and
the digit “ ” disappears.
6. The scale will turn o aer approximately 3 seconds.

Note:
To change the measurement unit, press the black “UNIT”
buon on the baery cover and connue to press to
choose between pounds, kilograms, and stones.

Having a problem with your Dario Smart Scale? Check the list below for common issues
and what to do about them.

Care & maintenance
Clean your scale with a so, dry cloth. Do not use
abrasive, or chemical cleaners, or expose the scale to
corrosive gases.
Do not wash the scale with water or submerge it in
water.
Store the scale in a safe and dry locaon. Do not
expose the scale to extreme temperatures, humidity,
moisture, direct sunlight, dust, or salt air.
Do not subject the scale to shaking or strong shocks,
such as dropping on the oor.
Keep the scale away from infants and children
To keep your Dario Smart Scale in the best condion,
follow the direcons below:
Cauon! Changes or modicaons not expressly approved by
DarioHealth shall cancel the warranty and any liability DarioHealth
might have in connecon with this device.

to manage your health. Please be aware that this device is de-

This device is not intended for use in an oxygen rich environ-
ment.
• At least 2 hours required for the device to warm / cool from
the minimum / maximum storage temperature between uses
unl it is ready for intended use when the ambient tempera-
ture is 20°C.
• Don’t use near acve High Frequency surgical equipment
and the RF shielded room of an Medical Equipment system for
magnec resonance imaging, where the intensity of Electro
Magnec disturbances is high.
• Portable RF communicaons equipment (including periph-
erals such as antenna cables and external antennas) should
be used no closer than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of this
equipment, including cables specied by the manufacturer.
Otherwise, degradaon of the performance of this equipment
could result.
• Use of this equipment adjacent to or stacked with other
equipment should be avoided because
it could result in improper operaon. If such use is necessary,
this equipment and the other equipment should be observed
to verify that they are operang normally.
• No modicaons of this equipment are allowed. This may
