ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• Always be sure to unplug the
appliance from outlet and allow to
cool completely prior to assembly,
disassembly, cleaning, and
storage.
• Never use abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the Pot as this may
damage the non-stick surface.
• Do not leave the mixing paddle
or measuring scoop in the
Removable Pot while you are
operating your Grain Cooker.
• This appliance is not intended

lack of experience and knowledge
unless they are provided with

cord is to be provided to reduce
risks resulting from becoming

longer cord. Longer detachable
power-supply cords or extension
cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their
use. If a long detachable power-
supply cord or extension cord is
used:
1) The marked electrical rating
of the detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance;
2) The extension cord should be a
grounding type 3-wire cord; and
3) The longer cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape

Clean the Grain Cooker and all of its components prior to assembly and use.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material and stickers before using your Grain
Cooker
• Gently wipe down all parts. Do not submerge the Body or Power Cord
in water or other liquids.
• Wash Removable Pot, Lid, Measuring Scoop, and Mixing Paddle with warm,
soapy water and then dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive scrubbers,
sponges, or chemical cleaners when cleaning the Removable Pot as they
may damage the non-stick surface of the Removable Pot.
• Assemble the Grain Cooker by placing the Removable Pot inside the
Body and cover with Lid.

WARNING: Never ll the Grain Cooker past the 10-cup line indicated on the
inside of the Pot. Exceeding this line can result in overowing or possible
electric shock.
1. Remove the Pot from the Body.
2. Fill the Removable Pot with your ingredients.
Note: If cooking white rice, use the included
Measuring Scoop. Do not use a standard
measuring cup for white rice so that you can
use the water guidelines on the inside of the
Removable Pot. Then, ll the water up to the
appropriate marking on the inside of the
Removable Pot. For example, for 2 Measuring
Scoops of rice, ll the Removable Pot up to line 2.
3. Place the Removable Pot into the Body and cover
with the Lid.
4. Plug in the Power Cord. The Warm Light Indicator
should turn on.
5. Press down Cooking Switch. The Cook Light
Indicator should turn on.
6. When the Warm Light Indicator comes on, check
to see if your food is done cooking.
7. When ready to serve, unplug the Grain Cooker
and serve using the Mixing Paddle or other non-
metal utensil. To keep food warm while serving,
leave Grain Cooker plugged in. Make sure you
unplug the Grain Cooker when you are nished.

IMPORTANT: Do not submerge Grain Cooker Body in water or any other
liquids. To avoid damaging the appliance, never use abrasive or harsh cleaning
products to clean the Grain Cooker.
In order to keep your Grain Cooker in pristine working order, follow the
cleaning recommendations after each use:
1. Before cleaning or moving the appliance, unplug the Grain Cooker and
allow it to cool completely.
2. Remove the Pot and wash in warm, soapy water. Never use abrasive or harsh
cleaning products as they may damage the non-stick surface. For tougher
stains or residue, soak the Pot in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes to
soften the food residue before cleaning.
3. Wash the Lid, Measuring Scoop, and Mixing Paddle in warm, soapy water.
4. Wipe the exterior of the Grain Cooker with a slightly damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly with a soft cloth.
5. Dry all parts before storing.

Steel cut cinnamon oats
INGREDIENTS
1 cup steel cut oats
3 cups water
dash of salt
cinnamon and honey, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Add oats, water, salt, and cinnamon to the Grain Cooker and stir to combine.
Cover with Lid and turn the Grain Cooker on. When oats are cooked, stir in
honey to taste and serve warm.

DIRECTIONS
Stir all ingredients except cheese in the Grain Cooker. Cover with Lid and switch
on. After 10 minutes, carefully remove the Lid and stir. Replace Lid and continue
to cook. Once cook cycle has nished, add cheese (optional) and stir until cheese
has melted. Garnish with additional cheese if desired and serve warm.
DIRECTIONS
Rinse quinoa thoroughly and place in the Grain Cooker with almond milk. Cover
with Lid and switch on. After quinoa is cooked, remove it from the Grain Cooker
and uff with a fork. Mix in almond butter and cinnamon. Allow to cool for 8-10
minutes. Stir in diced apples, top with your favorite nuts or granola, and drizzle
with honey. Enjoy!

Spinach and mushroom frittata
INGREDIENTS
6 eggs, beaten
1 cup spinach, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, chopped
¼ cup onion, nely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ tsp paprika
salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Lightly grease the Grain Cooker Pot
and pour the egg mixture in. Cover with Lid and switch on. Enjoy!

DIRECTIONS
Place quinoa and water into the Grain Cooker. Season with salt and then stir.
Cover with Lid and turn the Grain Cooker on. Once the quinoa is cooked, spoon
into a bowl and stir in lemon juice and olive oil. Allow the quinoa to cool. Once
quinoa has cooled, toss quinoa with remaining ingredients and serve.

2 cups quinoa, rinsed
4 cups water
¾ cup pomegranate seeds
½ cup chopped fresh mint
¼ cup roasted pine nuts or walnuts,
chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

INGREDIENTS
2 cups of couscous
2½ cups vegetable or chicken stock
¼ cup crumbled goat cheese
¼ of a small red onion, diced
10 cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in
halves
2 cups of arugula
½ cup Parmesan cheese
¼ cup walnuts
salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place the couscous and stock in the Grain Cooker. Cover with Lid and switch on.
Once the cycle is complete, transfer cooked couscous to a large bowl. Toss with
remaining ingredients and serve.

Rice and beans
INGREDIENTS
1 cup white rice
1¼ cups water
1 (15.5 oz) can red kidney beans
1½ tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 red bell pepper, nely diced
1 yellow onion, nely diced
red pepper akes, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place rice, water, spices, red bell pepper, and onion in the Grain Cooker. Stir
and then cover with Lid. Switch on the Grain Cooker and allow to cook.
Drain and rinse the kidney beans. When the cycle is complete, remove the Lid,
stir in the kidney beans, and re-cover. Leave on warm for 10-15 minutes before
serving.

Macaroni and cheese
INGREDIENTS
2 cups uncooked macaroni pasta
1½ cups chicken stock
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese
½ cup Gruyere cheese
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Put the pasta, chicken stock, and salt in the Grain Cooker and stir. Cover with Lid
and turn on the Grain Cooker. Cook for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the Lid
and add the milk, cheese, butter, and stir well. Close the lid and cook until the
cycle is complete. Season with salt and pepper and stir well before serving.

Mushroom risotto
INGREDIENTS
3 tbsp of unsalted butter
1½ cups arborio or carnaroli rice
3 cups chicken stock
½ cup dry white wine
½ cup onion, nely diced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp parsley akes
½ tsp dried sage
½-1 cup Parmesan cheese
white pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place butter in the Grain Cooker and switch on. When melted, add onion and
garlic and sauté 3-4 min until soft. Add rice and stir until coated with butter. Add
the remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese, stir, and then cover with
Lid. Press the Switch to start the cooking cycle. Once the cycle is complete, stir
in Parmesan cheese and re-cover. Keep Grain Cooker on the warm setting to
allow cheese to melt. Stir, garnish with Parmesan cheese (optional), and serve.

Chicken noodle soup
INGREDIENTS
½ tbsp olive oil
1 onion, nely chopped
1 large carrot, sliced
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 boneless chicken breast, diced
in ½” cubes
5 cups hot chicken broth
2 tbsp parsley, nely chopped
1 cup spiral pasta
salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Pour the olive oil into the Grain Cooker and switch on. Once the Grain Cooker
is hot, add onion, carrot, garlic, and cook with the Lid on for a few minutes.
Remove Lid and add the pasta, chicken, hot broth, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir
to combine and then replace the Lid. If the Grain Cooker has switched to warm,
wait a few minutes before switching the cook cycle back on. After 5 minutes,
remove the Lid and stir. Re-cover and cook until the pasta is tender. Keep warm
until ready to serve.

Brown rice grilled chicken sushi
INGREDIENTS
1 cup uncooked short grain brown rice
2 cups water
1 tbsp brown rice vinegar
½ small chicken breast, cut into strips
½ cucumber, cut into strips
1 medium carrot, cut into strips
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Rinse and drain brown rice. Place brown rice in the Grain Cooker with water and
sea salt. Cover with Lid and switch on. Once the cycle is complete, unplug the
Grain Cooker. Let the brown rice sit and cool before stirring in the brown rice
vinegar.
Cook chicken strips in a skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Place
a sheet of nori (rough side up) on a sushi rolling mat. With wet ngers, pat a
thick, even, layer of brown rice over the nori, leaving top edge (about 1/3”
deep) uncovered with rice. Along the bottom edge of sheet place 1-2 slices
of chicken, cucumber, and carrot. Pick up the edge of the rolling mat, folding
the bottom edge of the sheet up and enclosing the ingredients. Tightly roll the
sushi into a cylinder. Dampen the bare nori edge with a wet nger and seal the
roll. Serve with soy sauce, mixed greens, and cherry tomatoes.

Thai red curry chicken
INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp Thai red curry paste
2 cups coconut milk
1 chicken breast, cut into ½” pieces
1 tbsp ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup snow peas, rinsed
½ yellow onion, sliced
½ cup bamboo shoots
¼ cup red bell pepper, chopped
soy sauce, to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, mix the curry paste and coconut milk. Place the mixture into the Grain
Cooker with all ingredients except chicken and soy sauce and stir to combine.
Season with soy sauce and then add chicken. Cover the Grain Cooker and
switch on. After 20 minutes, carefully remove the Lid and stir. Re-cover and cook
for 10 more minutes.

Pulled pork
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs pork loin, trimmed
2 cups broth
1 cup barbecue sauce
2 tsp liquid smoke
¼ tsp hot sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients in the Grain Cooker, cover with the Lid, and switch on.
Allow to cook until the pork is tender enough to fall apart, switching the Grain
Cooker on every 20 minutes after the rst cycle has completed and stirring
occasionally (approximately 2 hours). When the pork is tender, remove the
meat, shred with a fork, and return to the Grain Cooker. Keep warm until ready
to serve.

Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, nely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg, beaten
¼cup bread crumbs
¼tsp of salt
½ tsp of pepper
1 (14.5 oz) can of diced tomatoes
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
½ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
chili akes to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, and breadcrumbs. Form
mixture into meatballs (yields about 12 meatballs). Lightly grease a skillet and
cook the meatballs until they are almost cooked to your liking.
Empty the can of diced tomatoes into the Grain Cooker bowl with salt, pepper,
chili akes, ¼ cup basil, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine. Gently place the
meatballs into the sauce and then spoon sauce over the meatballs so they are
covered. Cover Grain Cooker with Lid and switch on. Allow to cook for about
30 minutes. Garnish with remaining basil and serve.

RECIPES
Banana bread
INGREDIENTS
2 large ripe bananas
¼ cup butter, softened
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 cups our
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
cinnamon (optional)
dash salt
DIRECTIONS
Mash the bananas with a fork and then use a hand mixer to mix the bananas,
butter, and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and eggs and mix. In a
separate bowl, combine our, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
(optional). Add our mixture to bananas and mix well. Grease the inside of the
Grain Cooker Pot and pour in the mixture. Cover with Lid and switch on. Allow
to cook for 100 minutes, pressing the Cooking Switch (for a total of 5 cook
cycles).
Remove the Lid. Using potholders, lift up the Grain Cooker Pot and gently
overturn the banana bread onto a plate. You may have to loosen the sides of
the banana bread with a silicone spatula. Enjoy!
RECIPES
Rice pudding
INGREDIENTS
8 cups milk, divided
2 cups short-grain white rice
1 cup white sugar
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
Place 5½ cups milk, rice, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the Grain Cooker
and stir. Cover the Grain Cooker and turn on the cook cycle. Once the cycle has
nished, stir in the remaining 2½ cups of milk. Allow to cool before serving.

for further assistance and instruction. A Customer Support agent will conduct
troubleshooting in an attempt to x any minor problems. If troubleshooting
fails to x the problem, a return authorization will be issued. Proof of purchase
indicating date and place of purchase is required and should accompany the
return. You must also include your full name, shipping address, and telephone
number. We are unable to ship returns to a PO Box. StoreBound will not be
responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser’s failure
to provide any or all of the necessary information. Freight costs must be prepaid
