ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS / PRODUCT NAME: #1204 Fanback Glider

Assembly time: 20 min
Please be sure and remove all parts from your box and assemble your new furniture on a blanket so
you don’t damage your new furniture while assembling. Do not over tighten!!! Over tightening of
hardware can cause damage to the item.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
PRODUCT NAME: #1204 Fanback Glider
For assembling this product, you need the following tools:
Glider Base Assembly
a. Locate the Left Glider Base (5) and Right Glider base (6) as well as 2pcs. 14 1/4” Stretcher Boards (7).
b. Place Stretcher Boards in the the small incuts located on the Glider Base.
c. Use 6pcs. 2 1/2” Polybuster Screws (F) to fasten each side (small pilot holes) - repeat on the other side.
#2 Square Tip Bit with DrillAllen Wrench Wrench 7/16” and 9/16” Soft Rubber Mallet

a. Locate Seat (2), Right Arm (3) and Left Arm (4) assemblies.
b. Lay seat on the side and use 4pcs. 3” Carriage Bolts (C) to fasten the legs to the seat (use a soft mallet to
pound the carriage bolts in). They should lay flat against the back of the head of carriage bolt.
c. Use 4pcs. Flange Nuts (I) to tighten.
d. Repeat for the other side of chair.
a. Place the back on the chair next -- the angled
middle piece on the back should go below the arm.
b. Use 2 pcs. 2 1/2” Wafer Head Bolts (D) and 2 pcs.
1/4” Flange Nut (I) to tighten into place.

STEP 2 Mounting Legs to Seat
Mounting Back to Chair
a. Push the base of the back in snug on the notch of
the seat.
b. Use 2 pcs. 2 1/2” Wafer Head Lags (E) to tighten
to the seat -- If you are not using a power drill you
may want to drill a small pilot hole.
STEP 4 Fasten Chair Back to Seat
Mounting Chair to Glider Base
a. Lay the chair on the side and use 4pcs. 2 3/4” Carriage Bolts (B) in the bottom hole on each leg - The bolt
head should be to the outside of chair and bolt sticking out on inside (use a soft mallet to pound the
carriage bolts in). They should lay flat against the back of the head of carriage bolt.
b. Use 4pcs. 3/8” Flange Nuts (G) on the inside of leg to tighten Bolt before moving on to mounting the Glider Arms (A).
c. Mount the 4pcs. Glider Arms (A) to the legs - use 3/8” Lock Nuts (H) to fasten the glider arms to the legs of the chair.
d. Place the other end of the glider arms on to the glider base and fasten using 4pcs. 3/8” Lock Nuts (H) (Be
careful to not allow it to swing and pinch your fingers!)
